(Part 1) 19: Chapter 10: Body of the Thunder God, Aurora Execution!
(Part 1) “Hehehe…” Enel covered his face and chuckled softly, currents of electricity crackling against his cheeks from his palms.
Even seeing Alex standing completely unscathed amidst the lightning, there wasn’t a trace of panic in his eyes.
Instead, they gleamed with the fanaticism of someone holding the winning hand.
“I knew it.
You Hunters aren’t that easy to kill.” He slowly spread his arms, floating down to the center of the plaza.
“Did you think I delayed my appearance until now just to watch a show?” The pool of plasma suddenly boiled.
Like countless silver-blue serpents, the electricity joyfully coiled around his limbs.
The crackling sounded like popping beans.
Stimulated by the electricity, the ice surrounding the plaza began to emit rising white mist.
“A single lightning storm might not kill you,” Enel’s voice, wrapped in electric currents, grew increasingly shrill.
“But what about months, or even years, of accumulated lightning?” He abruptly threw his head back.
The lightning taiko drums on the plaza behind him suddenly exploded, unleashing a cascading waterfall of golden-blue currents.
“Let me show you my ultimate technique…
Body of the Thunder God!” “Haa!” Amidst his furious roar, the lightning surged into his body without restraint.
Enel’s body expanded at a visible rate, growing from the height of a normal man to ten meters…
then a hundred meters.
He completely shed his human form, transforming into a colossal giant composed entirely of pure lightning.
Silver-blue lightning flowed across his surface.
With every breath, he exhaled pillars of electricity ten feet high, ionizing the air and filling it with the pungent stench of ozone.
The giant roared at the sky, his voice shaking the tumbling clouds.
“Not enough!
It’s still not enough!” The giant took a few slow steps.
The thoroughly frozen sea surface instantly fractured, with spiderweb-like cracks spreading out for hundreds of meters.
The giant shot countless lightning tentacles from his hands, frantically lashing the ice outside Marine Headquarters.
The rock-hard ice shattered like glass.
The ice shards were vaporized into white mist mid-air by the intense heat, rising and gathering above his head.
In the blink of an eye, it condensed into a pitch-black cumulonimbus cloud.
Drawn by Enel’s energy, this moisture formed a thick storm cloud.
Lightning struck down continuously, and Enel’s massive form grew even taller, looking as though it would soon pierce through the clouds themselves!
Crack!
Boom!
Giant bolts of lightning continuously struck down from the clouds, pouring entirely into Enel’s body.
His frame continued to undergo a maddening growth spurt, soon breaking past two hundred meters.
His head almost brushed against the storm clouds, and the silver-blue lightning dyed half the sky as bright as day.
Everyone present was trembling.
The Marines were deathly pale, their hands shaking violently as they gripped their weapons.
“Is…
is this Commander Enel’s true power?
It’s literally a god descending upon the world!” Pirates collapsed onto the ground, their pupils quivering.
“This is too terrifying…
Is this the power of a Marine Commander?
How are we pirates supposed to fight against that?” Whitebeard clenched his fists.
Even his Tremor-Tremor Fruit would be useless against a giant, fully elemental monster like this.
The squads of Reincarnators hidden among the crowd huddled together, their eyes filled with absolute terror.
“This Enel guy has to be a Fallen Reincarnator.
Even a Hunter can’t withstand an attack of this magnitude, right?” Some people on the battlefield had already dropped to their knees on the ice, kowtowing repeatedly to the lightning giant.
“Commander Enel is invincible!” “Long live the Thunder God Enel!” Their shouts echoed across the frozen wasteland, carrying the manic fervor of a cult worshiping its deity.
