I quickly push that train of thought out of my mind. I get the blanket off of me and swing my legs over the edge of the bed, avoiding the wolves that are laying on the floor.
"If you need some help walking let me know." Leo says.
"Thanks."
I put my feet down and push up, leaning on the bed. While I am not steady by any means, it's a whole lot better than yesterday. I move to the corner of the bed, pushing off and getting to the closest wall with only a small stumble.
"Seems like all that rest helped out."
"Yeah, it doesn't feel as awkward now."
"Good."
A knock on the door to the office just barely makes it into the back room, muffled and deep. Leo gets up and walks over to the door to the office.
"Need help getting in?"
"Shouldn't that be what I ask?" I smirk.
"Fine then, you can walk yourself." He walks through the door.
"No, wait... Damnit..." It was just a joke...
I stumble over and lean against the doorframe as he lets a few people in. Reggie walks in, as well as a male elf mage, a female orc tank, a male human tank, a female human swordswoman, and a male feline cleric.
"It's good to see you Leo." The swordswoman says.
"You too." Leo nods.
I shakily walk over to a table off to the side and use it to hold myself up. I get a few odd glances but nothing longer than a second.
"What's the plan?" The orc asks.
"I am trying to get a decent amount of people together so we can have a large information web and make a party for safety. None of us really know what is going on so I am trying to get as much info as possible, with as little risk as possible." Leo says. Ah, so that's what is going on.
"Sounds good, anything we should know now?"
"So far, we have a decently rounded team, 2 mages, 2 tanks, 2 dps, a ranger, and a healer." Leo says. Am I included in this group?
"Wait, 2 mages?" The elf asks. "Who's the other?"
"That would be Camaella." Leo gestures to me, I give a small wave. Guess so...
They just stare at me for a second before their eyes go wide. Here we go again...
"Wait, that's Camaella!?" The elf yells, rushing over to me, making me shrink back.
"Uh oh..." Reggie mumbles.
"It's an honor to meet you!" The elf says, Leo looming over towards him.
Honor!? How!?
"I didn't know if I could believe it when they said you were a mage too!" He gets even closer, pretty much breathing on my chest. Looking down at people like this is going to start to hurt my neck...
"I uh..." He gets hit on the head before I can say anything by Leo, making him recoil in pain.
"What was that for?!" The elf says.
"You are making her uncomfortable!" Leo seethes, "Why can't you guys just give people space!?"
"Oh, um, sorry... I guess I was just too excited."
"I um... I don't know why you are so excited..."
"How could I not!? You have been talked about like a goddess, it's hard not to be excited!"
"Goddess?!" I stare at him confused as all hell.
"Yeah! There was a post on the forums way back, about you participating in the Gear Master Raid when it first came out. They said it was the most casual first raid experience of their life! Whenever you left, they tried to run another one, and it took them twice as much time!"
"Wait what?! That raid wasn't that hard though..."
"Turns out, your build was perfect for keeping the Automatons CC'd, so when they lost you, they got swarmed and all had to change their builds around!"
"My build?" What the hell else do the forums say about me?!
"Yeah!"
"I uh... don't have a 'build'..."
"What do you mean?"
"I just picked the spells I thought looked cool, and then I would use whatever I thought was most affective at the time..."
"That makes it even better!"
"Huh..?"
"Yeah! You pioneered a style that works well in all situations!"
"Well... I play solo, so it kind of needs to..."
"Wait, is it really true that you don't play with any group?" The human tank asks.
"Well... yeah? I only really played with others whenever I wanted something from a group activity, or when this idiot begged me to play together." I point at Leo.
"Hey! I only begged you a little!" Leo defends.
"Mhm... A little too much sometimes..."
"Ugh..."
"Anyyyway." The swordswoman cuts in. "Has anyone tried to cast anything?"
We all go silent for a moment.
"Guess not..." She continues. "That should probably be our next course of action, because if mages and clerics can't figure out how to get their spells working..."
"Yeah..." The mage says.
I stop for a moment, wasn't there a spell that just generated some light? What was it called again? Oh right, Lumen. A bright ball of light appears in front of me causing me to yelp and fall to the side, falling onto my tail again. The light disappears as I let out a growl, the entire room now staring at me. Leo walks over and helps me up.
"The fuck was that?" He asks.
"Uh... I was thinking of a spell to test if we can cast, I remembered Lumen, and when I thought of it it appeared..."
"Was it really that easy?" The mage asks.
"Um... I guess?" It's not like I was really trying to cast it...
"Go ahead and try again." Leo says.
"Okay." Let's see how this goes... Lumen.
The ball appears again, lighting up the room brighter than it already is. It hovers in front of me, unmoving. I try to move it closer to me without touching it, surprisingly, it is extremely easy to move. I bring it close and hover it above my hand.
"Well that confirms that spells work..." Leo says.
I nod, letting the spell fade. The group breaks into conversation, the mage coming closer to me.
"How did you do that?" He asks.
"I just remembered what the spell looked like and the name..." It really wasn't that hard...
He kind of stares into the distance for a moment, then lets out a sigh and turns to me.
"I can't seem to do it..." He looks to the floor.
Fuck... I don't... Fuuuuuck...
"Try again."
"I have tried a few times since you did it... But I can't get it to work."
"Tell me what is going through your head as you do it."
"I um, I remember what it looks like, a ball of light. Then I remember the name of it, Lumen, after that, there is nothing..."
"Alright, come here." I beckon him closer.
He walks over timidly. Damn Leo, you didn't need to make him worried about being near me...
"Now," I turn him around as best I can with one hand, "first, think of the ball of light like you did before."
"Okay..." He says timidly... Really, I am not going to hurt you...
"Now that you have that image, think about how that ball of light would feel." I put my hand on his shoulder, he shivers back away from it slightly. He is only focused on not getting hit again, isn't he...
"I um, I think I got it."
"Good, now the name."
The ball of light appears, shaking slightly, but is there.
"Good!"
"Huh?" He staggers back into me, as the ball disappears, I guess he had his eyes closed. I hold him up while leaning on the table.
"See, it's not as hard as you thought, was it?" I tilt my head at him while he looks up at me.
"N-n-n-no..." He stammers while he quickly backs away from me. Really, I'm not going to hurt you...
His face goes red, making me question if I did something wrong.
"Oh, did I do something to make you mad? Sorry..."
"N-no I'm not mad, I j-just need a second..." He walks out of the room with his head down. Shit... I don't even know what I did wrong...
Leo walks over to me. "I only got the tail end of that, what happened?"
"I don't know," I look to the floor, "I was helping him figure out how to cast the spell, then he rushed out of the room... I think he was mad at me..."
"What makes you think that?" Leo steps a little closer making me look up at him.
"His face was red..."
"Wait here, I'll go talk to him." Leo quickly walks out. Wait, is he going to hit him again?
"Wait!" I reach up to try to stop him, but he is already leaving the room. Shit...
I pull my hand back, leaning against the table with a sigh. I didn't mean to cause any problems, I was just trying to help...
They walk back into the room after another minute, the mage still has his head down and Leo seems to not be mad, thankfully. They walk over to me.
"T-thank you for helping me, I'm sorry for running away like that."
"Oh no, it's fine, I'm sorry."
"You don't need to apologize, you didn't do anything wrong."
I tilt my head. "What do you mean? I thought I made you mad..."
"Oh no, like I said before, I wasn't mad..." His face starts to go a little red again.
Leo let's out a sigh, "I'll talk to her." Leo smiles at him.
"Okay..." He walks away with his head down. Did I really not make him mad?!
Leo walks over to me, "Let's talk in the other room for a moment."
"Um, okay..." So I DID do something wrong!? He helps me walk into the bedroom, leading me to the bed before he walks back and closes the door. Then turns around and sighs.
"You... *sigh* you don't know what you did, do you?" What the fuck!? Was it really that bad!?
"I uh... No?" I look to the floor, "Sorry..."
He walks over, sitting on the bed next to me. Why do I feel like I am getting lectured by my dad right now...
"You remember you are female right now, right?" He asks, making me raise my eyebrow.
"It's kind of hard to forget..." I look at my breasts.
"Well um, you remember what it was like when a girl you considered attractive gets close to you, or says something in a specific way you consider hot?"
My eyes go wide as I realize what he is saying... Did I really just make him horny on accident like that?!
"You seem to understand now... So yeah, that's what happened."
I feel my face heat up, crossing my arms around my stomach. "Shit... I didn't even realize I was doing that..."
"I thought that was the case, that's why I rushed out to confirm it."
"Okay... He should be fine in a few minutes... But uh, I know that he is probably going to think about it a few more times..." I say, I hate to admit it, but that's probably the case...
"You'd know more about that aspect than me." Leo shrugs.
"I am guessing he was male in real life too?"
"I believe all of them are the sex they were IRL too, but I would have to ask." Leo shrugs, standing and walking over to a small jug of water. He pours out a cup of it for each of us.
"Don't think too hard about it." He says, handing me the cup. "It's just going to happen sometimes, and who knows, you might have someone do something that makes you horny unexpectedly." He shrugs while he sits down. I didn't even think about that...
"It might happen at some point... I guess..." I shrug, taking a drink of the water.
"Do you think your tastes have changed?" He asks, making me question it myself...
"I... I don't know, nothing has happened since getting here..." I don't think I have felt horny at least...
"Hmm, I think mine have... If I would have to be honest..." His face goes slightly red.
"What do you mean?" I ask.
"I um, have definitely felt 'that' react sometimes. It was kind of bad this morning." His face gets redder.
"Oh, that's actually normal in the morning for males..."
"Ah ok... Well um, could I tell you something that might be a little weird?"
"I guess, yeah?" What is it now?!
"When um... when you were asleep, you shifted to you side, and when I saw your figure, I uh, I also kind of reacted then..." He looks to the floor. "Fuck, now I know why you guys always get so embarrassed with this shit."
Oh... I feel my face heat up some more. "It's really not that big of a deal, it kind of creeps up like that sometimes... Just try not to think about it too much." I fidget a little.
"I do have to ask... What do you do when it happens just, when you are walking around?"
"Oh, just... Adjust a little, I guess? Don't focus on it, and just think about something else... Um, by the way... I have to go to the bathroom, where is it?"
