Spending time with Bane Silver was akin to running a marathon.

For a shifter of a hundred and fifty two.

Our lives being longer then our evolved human selves he still behaved like a wolf in his prime.Full novel: Shifters Investigations — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Retired yet still holds his position with regards to status he spends his time helping the police force whenever they snag themselves on a case that’s just too far out of reach.

If first impressions weren’t enough to go by.

Close your eyes and picture an extra large Tiger from the populiar childrens stories of pooh bear and friends bouncing around the room on his spring like tail firing questions at you like it’s a pop quiz night during an episode of Jeoperdy!

If you get the answer wrong he’ll only bounce more while at the same time shooting spit balls at you just for the exurberace of it.

By the time we got out of there it was well and truly passed lunch time.

Seth and I stood on the threshold of Willy wonka’s choclate factory if he had an even crazier uncle taking a moment to recover from his insanity.

“Well that was interesting.”

Breaking the silence first.

His voice free of the privous mornings despondancy that had enveloped Seth’s very being.

He faced me with renewed hope in his eyes and laughter in his heart.

“There’s nothing like a Bane Silver’s life lesson to set your mind at ease.”

“Is he always like that?”

“Usually he’s worse.”

The resonouce in his laugh music to my ears knowing that today’s conflict could have gone a very different way.

That was until a glimce of those last words spoken with whispered dred appeared.

“About what Bane told me,”

Hesitation detected in the pause that made me want to scream like a banshee with all the force a tyrannosaurus rex.

“Don’t worry. I won’t try to touch you. At least. Not until I’m sure I can.”

Phew crisis averted.

“I appreciate that.”

That hope filled starry eyed gaze at what he may one day achieve had me feeling like I needed to point out the very real posibility.

That day may never happen.

“Seth?”

“Hmm?”

Amber sparks alighted on his saphire blues.

“I won’t risk loosing you.” My gaze remained true.

The world around us falling away.

The only thing the mattered right now.

Was the people still standing on this step.

“Even if it means I can never have you.”

Inhailing a breath I skipped forwards cutting the air between us with my usual nonchalance.

The intense moment being more then I could handle.

The last thing I saw before turning away was his clenched fist and locked jaw at what he knew was a promise that I wasn’t likely to break.

“Well come on. Next stop. Lake View Campus.”

I didn’t wait to see if he was following.

Just turned and started heading towards our destination.

The organ inside my chest hardening just that little bit more.

~

Only the most elite shifters forms were worthy of accesing it’s hollowed grounds.

Just getting near it would require at least three generations of proof that you were pure enough to step foot inside it’s illustrious halls.

Luckily as one of uppers most finest even if it was a bullshit title I was able to accompany Seth into said building under section 2.5 of the cities law and legislations.

Clause 2.5 police investigations:

i) Any and all officers of the law have a legal right to gain acess to any and all information when in the process of an investigation. a.

Including but not limited to access to buildings, structures or areas. b.

Including but not limited all technology cameras, phones or computers. ii) Any citizen or organisation found to be hindering ongoing investigations or refusing access will hereby be exspelled from upper class status to lower class citizen where they will carry out thier sentence acording to federal law.

So basically in a nut shell give us access to what ever we need to investigate our case or your arse gets sent to pergatory.

The slums.

It all makes sense now doesn’t it.

The slums is basically the uppers version of a minor prison.

Doesn’t matter to them that not all of us are criminals.

I mean Sure they had real prisons for the more agressive of crimes but for missdemeanors like saying no to something you didn’t agree with or even just a small altercation that results in some fisticuffs.

It didn’t matter.

You gained your arse a one way ticket the colluseum of fight to survive or you die.

The uppers say this form of serealisation proved just how sophisticated thier world was because no one dare risk thier status else they be named a disterbance of a peace that was so tightly woven that not even houdini could escape.

The privious mention law the reason the new occupant of our missing persons room was all to happy to shimmy her quite literal bare arse out of her rooms so that we could, “look for clues.” Having been interupted whilst in the middle of a scene from caged.

Or what I assume the moive would have been called had it actually had a name.

Not having any references to go off that could possibly discribe the scene we managed to walk in on.

Seems our missing persons replacement wasn’t on the same calibre of shifter school ethics as our pre-law, straight A student if the butt plug protruding had anything to go by.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that far be it for me to spoil someone kinks considering my own arsenal of fantasies wrapped up in if only there was a way.

It was more the sexual tension that was left in the room that made for a veritable shmorcasboard of built up looks passed between Seth and I each too pent up to even speak what depravities were on our minds at the time.

Mine involving hot wax and some silk rope tied to all four limbs while Seth’s hands.

Nope.

Let’s not go there else my knickers moisten like a leaking lube stick with way too much over use.

Blue eyed short straw having sensed my more zelous thoughts of which hole you want tonight baby girl averting his body to the side but not before I caught a glimce of the thunder down under rearing its slonged head.

Fuck me do we not have the worst posible timing ever to have to live through the highened altitude of something even gravity couldn’t bring closer together.

Trying to concerntrate my focus while my minds eye keeps studying the elongated dilldo still vibrating on the bed spining at G spotted angles, the clit tickler bobing for the high setting like a splited tongue to end up falling to the floor with a resounding vibrating thud.

The sound growing louder now it had the acoustics of the empty space under the bed to ramp up its furoius battery powered promise of a good time.

Both our eyes glue to it’s journey unable to look away.

“For fucks sakes Rexy. Turn the fucking thing off!”

Seth exclaimation had me in histerics as it continued to circle around the floor like a wriggling worm.

“Hasn’t anyone told you it’s impolite to touch another girls toys.”

“I’ll fucking do it then.”

My histerics growing in verocity as the dildo in question apparently was run by remote.

One that undoubtly had walked out the door already leaving the frustrated Seth with a tent between his legs to roughly shove the thing with horns in a layer of blankets to at least muffle it’s vocal cords.

“And let’s get this over with.”

Meanwhile my bout of laughter had escalated to a ball of gasped out breaths struggling for air with tears in eyes on the floor.

Unable to stop the crack of a smile to form on his lips at the ridiculousness of the situation Seth eyes to the cieling in a, “this would only happen around you.” Type of way.

“Next time you suggest a trip any where remind me to fucking say no.”

Followed by an involoutary chuckle that was more like,”if I had to go through this with anyone it’d be you.”

“Hey at least I’m not boring.”

The puffed out ha as we both took a deep breath to compose ourselves enough to tackle to task at hand.

“Well this was your idea Rexy. What now?”

Snapping into focus my eyes taking on my best hypervigilance detail detector I scanned around the room.

“Do you have photos of what the room looked like before?”

Mirrioring my decompartmentalised now clinical view of the room as his man with a salute slowly started to loose it stiffness.

Which Dispite his, “ignore it comment” even with a clinical eye I couldn’t stop myself from sneaking a peek as it settled once again.

It’s luster now quelshed within his pants.

Seth passed me his phone opened up to numerous crime scene photos.

The school being as exclusive as it was each room came with it’s own living room and ensuite with walkin wardrope.

The bedroom itself large enough to house a king bed with vanity and dresser draws.

“What are you thinking?”

The room wasn’t that much different apart from the cage everything pretty much in the same place it was before.

“What did the police report say? Did they print the room?”

“The only prints they found belonged to our missing person.”

The room was a second story position with two large windows.

One in the bedroom and one in the living room.

“What about the windows do they open?”

“No. For security purposes they were sealed shut. The school houses a lot of high risk students.”

Walking to the windows in question I put a hand to the glass.

With a yelp the shutter swung out almost taking me with it.

“Rexy!”

Seth quickly stopped himself from pulling me back just in time.

“I’m fine don’t worry.”

“Fucking hell. How did they miss that?”

The supposed sealed window was very much operational.

“A design flaw maybe. We should check to see if our current guest has a part in breaking the seal before we jump to conclusions.”

“I’ll go ask her. Stay here. That windows evidence now we can’t leave it unattended.”

Nodding I waited for him to come back.

In the interim I studied the wondows seal.

Squinting my eyes I leaned in to take a closer look.

A small spinter of wood jutted out and had snagged what looked like.

A scale. let’s play a game.

Tell me your best story involving surprise walk ins.
