Shizukana Sekai — Juugo-nen no Kioku Season 2 — Chapter 11 The journey home should have been peaceful.

The streets were slowly returning to normal after the terrifying monster attack.

People were still talking about Princess Ayana’s rescue, while soldiers continued patrolling the city.Full novel: Shizukana Sekai — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

But for Rai…

Airex and Airi refused to stop teasing him.

“You got kissed by the Princess!” Airex laughed.

Airi immediately joined in.

“She was definitely happy!” Rai simply shrugged.

“So what?” “She’s a member of the royal family.

She can do that.” The two stared at him in disbelief.

How could someone be this clueless?

Rai simply continued walking as if nothing had happened.

Then suddenly…

Rai froze.

His expression completely changed.

Mira’s shopping list.

He forgot to buy everything.

Panic.

Absolute panic.

For the first time that day, Rai realized he had a problem far more terrifying than the monsters.

The three continued walking until they finally reached their homes.

Airi waved happily.

“Bye!

See you tomorrow!” Then she ran toward her house.

Rai also turned toward Airex.

“Bye.” And left.

As Airex walked into his own house…

A thought suddenly returned to his mind.

The monsters who kidnapped Princess Ayana had easily defeated trained soldiers.

Even royal guards couldn’t stop them.

So how did Rai— an eight-year-old child— defeat them alone?

Airex slowed down.

Something felt strange.

Something didn’t make sense.

But eventually…

he pushed the thought away.

— The next day.

Great Arcane Middle School.

The morning began normally.

Students filled the classroom with conversations and laughter.

Airex, Airi, and Rai sat together as usual.

Everything seemed peaceful.

Until— The classroom door opened.

A senior student entered.

His name was Julius.

He arrived with several friends.

The atmosphere immediately became uncomfortable.

Julius walked through the classroom while his friends followed behind him.

Not long after— he accidentally bumped into a younger student.

But the truth was…

it wasn’t even the younger student’s fault.

Yet Julius became angry.

He attacked him with magic.

The student was thrown across the classroom.

Books fell from desks.

Several students immediately became silent.

But Julius wasn’t finished.

He continued bullying the boy while laughing.

Airex, Rai, and Airi watched in disgust.

Airi couldn’t stay silent anymore.

She stood up.

“You can’t treat people like that.” Julius turned toward her.

The truth was…

he already had a crush on Airi.

So instead of stopping…

he attacked the boy even harder to make himself look cool.

Airi’s eyes narrowed.

“I said stop.” Julius smirked.

“And what will a little girl do?” Airi used magic.

Nothing happened.

Julius easily overpowered her.

Airi hit the ground.

Airex immediately ran to help her.

Rai followed.

Airex glared at Julius.

“Why would you do that?” Julius laughed.

“I’m a senior.” “Got a problem with that?” At that moment…

Rai’s cold eyes locked onto Julius.

For a brief moment— he wanted to do something.

Something inside him was telling him to end this immediately.

But he stayed silent.

He couldn’t reveal his true power.

Not here.

Not in front of everyone.

Then Julius attacked again.

Airex was thrown to the ground.

Rai immediately moved and helped him back up.

The classroom watched in silence.

But there was something Julius never understood.

His real anger wasn’t directed at Airex.

Or even Airi.

It was directed at Rai.

Because Rai naturally attracted attention.

His calm attitude.

His cold eyes.

His appearance.

People noticed him without him doing anything.

And Julius hated that.

Airex slowly stood up.

His expression had changed.

Rai noticed something immediately.

Something felt wrong.

Very wrong.

He was about to move.

But Airex stopped him.

“Wait.” Rai froze.

Airex began walking forward.

Step by step.

The entire classroom became quiet.

Airi watched nervously.

Julius smiled confidently.

Then suddenly— Airex formed a hand sign.

And in the next instant…

he appeared directly in front of Julius.

The classroom froze.

Airi froze.

Rai froze.

Everyone stared in shock.

Airex raised one finger.

Then spoke.

“Dark Energy: Super Point.” A single touch landed on Julius’s chest.

Silence.

For one second…

nothing happened.

Julius didn’t even understand what had just happened.

Then— Julius was launched backward.

The classroom wall shattered.

Debris flew everywhere.

Julius crashed through the broken wall and lost consciousness instantly.

His friends stared in terror.

Then ran away.

No one understood what they had just witnessed.

The classroom remained completely silent.

Airi looked shocked.

The students couldn’t move.

Even Rai was silent.

Because he recognized that power.

Dark Magic Energy.

The power connected to the Oblivion Core.

Rai’s expression slowly became darker.

Inside his mind— “The Oblivion Core…” “It’s far stronger than they realize.” And for the first time…

Rai began to wonder whether the seal he had created thousands of years ago…

was truly enough.
