Shizukana Sekai: Juugo-nen no Kioku Season 1 – Chapter 4 But now…
This is what really happened.
He couldn’t forget it.
Not even for a single day.
The memory…
Stayed with him.
The moment…
They took someone…
Right before his eyes.
That fear…
Never disappeared.
But neither…
Did his determination.
Rai…
Began to change.
Slowly…
He started learning.
How to move without making a sound.
How to disappear from sight.
How to fly through the skies.
At first…
He failed.
Again…
And again.
He fell countless times.
But…
Little by little…
He improved.
Every day…
He became stronger than the day before.
Until…
One day…
They came for him.
Small monsters.
Creatures lurking within the shadows.
Their mission…
Was simple.
Capture the protector.
They rushed toward Rai.
Without mercy.
But this time…
Rai didn’t run.
He fought.
Hand to hand.
Without hesitation.
Without fear.
For a child…
Only five years old…
It was unbelievable.
Mira watched everything.
Her eyes widened in shock.
This…
Wasn’t normal.
Rai continued training.
Day after day.
Even though he didn’t fully understand magic…
He never stopped improving.
He became…
Faster.
Sharper.
More dangerous.
His control became better.
His body adapted.
His instincts continued to evolve.
His mind…
Became stronger than ever.
Years passed.
Rai turned…
Twelve years old.
Basic Magic…
Mastered.
Combat…
Refined.
Instinct…
Awakened.
Many monsters…
Came after him.
Many…
Never returned.
But deep inside…
Rai still didn’t know…This…
Was never the real battle.
Something far worse…
Was waiting for him.
Something…
That would change his destiny forever.
