The three synchronized calls of "Dad" made Jiang Mubai smile so widely his mouth couldn't close, as if the three little ones were calling him.

Jun Moyan, however, maintained his handsome face, his deep, dark eyes sweeping over the faces of the three little ones like blades.

“Why are you still here?”

His voice sounded as if it were quenched with ice frost.

Mu Yanxi blinked his fox eyes, which were exactly like Jun Moyan's, and said in a crisp voice, “We aren't just here today; we'll be here tomorrow, the day after, and the day after that. We plan to live here.”

Jun Moyan sneered, “Who permitted you to stay? You had better disappear immediately, don't force me to find people to throw you out. My men aren't gentle when they act.”

The three little ones exchanged glances.

Does Dad really dislike them?

What should they do?

Should they really leave?

“Master, I was just coming to the Study Room to call you. I didn't expect you to be here already. It’s just in time; we can have dinner.”

Leng Jian appeared from somewhere, wearing an apron, and holding a plate of steaming braised crucian carp.

“Wow, it smells so good! Brother Leng Jian, your cooking is really great.”

The gluttonous Mu Yanxi was immediately captivated by the dish in Leng Jian's hand, no longer caring whether Jun Moyan was Angry or not.

Leng Jian was almost melted by Mu Yanxi’s greedy look; he held the dish in one hand and ushered the three children toward the Stone Pavilion with the other.

“Have the Three Young Masters all become Hungry? Come and taste the fish I cooked, Subordinate.”

“Let’s go, let’s go, eat. Stop standing here chatting.”

Jiang Mubai took the opportunity to push Jun Moyan into the Stone Pavilion as well.

The bowls and chopsticks were already set out; including Jiang Mubai, there were five people in total.

As a Subordinate, Leng Jian did not dine at the same table as Jun Moyan.

Although their mouths were watering so much they were about to drool, the three Mu Yanxi did not touch their chopsticks. Instead, they stared unblinkingly at Jun Moyan.

Seeing this, Jiang Mubai quickly nudged Jun Moyan with his arm.

“Moyan, they are all waiting for you. Start eating.”

Jun Moyan shot Jiang Mubai a cold look, then glanced at the three little ones looking eager, dropped the phrase, “I’m not eating,” and rolled his Wheelchair away.

The Stone Pavilion fell Quiet for a moment, but the silence was quickly broken by Jiang Mubai’s voice.

“Ignore him, we’ll eat!”

“The fish Brother Leng Jian cooked is delicious; it’s almost as good as what Mother makes.”

“Right? If it’s good, eat more.”

Jiang Mubai picked up a mouthful of fish to place it in Mu Yanxi’s bowl, but Leng Jian quickly stepped forward to stop him.

“Young Master Jiang, I’ll do it.”

Jiang Mubai was stunned. “What do you mean? I can’t pick it up?”

“This fish has bones. I must remove the bones first, lest the fish bones get stuck in the throats of the Three Young Masters.”

“Oh.”

Jiang Mubai put down his chopsticks and watched Leng Jian patiently and meticulously pick out the fish bones, which annoyed him immensely.

“Hey, Jian Jian, I’ve eaten fish at your Prince's Mansion at least eight or nine times. Why have you never thought about picking the bones out for me?”

Leng Jian glanced at him, puzzled. “Young Master Jiang isn't a three-year-old Child who needs someone else to pick the bones out when eating.”

“……”

Jiang Mubai pointed at the three Mu Yanli. “They are also older than three.”

“In the eyes of this Subordinate, the Three Young Masters will always be three years old.”

Damn it!

Jiang Mubai took out his folding fan, fanned himself, and hummed, “Who cares! Tomorrow I’ll find a woman, have her give birth to three for me—no, eight or ten little babies—and then hire eight or ten gentle and beautiful Maidservants to pick the fish bones for them.”

Mu Yanxi swallowed the food in his mouth. “Uncle Jiang, newborn babies can’t eat fish; they need milk.”

Jiang Mubai choked. “Then I’ll hire eight or ten wet nurses to feed them milk every day.”

Speaking of which, Jiang Mubai became curious.

“By the way, how did you guys eat when you were little? Your Mother was both father and mother; surely she didn't have enough milk to feed all of you, right?”

Mu Yanxi blinked. “We drank other milk, like cow's milk, goat's milk, and mare's milk. Oh, and tiger milk too. Mother once saved a tigress and her cubs. To repay Mother, that tigress came every day to give us milk.”

Leng Jian’s Eye sockets moistened as he listened.

Wuwuwu, the Three Young Masters are too pitiful, growing up drinking the milk of all beasts since childhood.

Even Jiang Mubai couldn't help but show sympathy. “Tsk tsk, it must have been hard for your Mother to raise the three of you so well by herself. Here, eat more to replenish yourselves.”

Mu Manor.

“Second Young Lady, you are awake?”

Looking at the unfamiliar Maidservant in front of her, Mu Xi showed confusion and displeasure in her expression. “Who are you?”

“This servant is Lu He…”

“Where is Yi Cui?”

Mu Xi suddenly sat up in bed, staring intently at the Maidservant before her. “What did you just call me?”

Lu He was so frightened she immediately knelt down with a thud. “Second Young Lady, please calm your Anger. Madam sent this servant. Sister Yi Cui and Fu Dong have been detained by Madam.”

Hearing this, Mu Xi immediately jumped out of bed and rushed barefoot toward Yunxiang Courtyard, where Madam Mu resided.

“Mother! Mother!”

Madam Mu was resting her head, thinking about something. Seeing her daughter run in without proper attire and barefoot, her expression shifted slightly.

“Xi’er, you aren't even wearing an outer garment, and your feet are bare. Aren't you afraid of catching a cold…”

Mu Xi couldn't care less about that. She tightly gripped Madam Mu’s arms. “Mother, I wasn't expelled from the Mu Family, right? And Mu Ning, she isn't Mu Ning, is she? Mu Ning died long ago, gnawed to nothing by wild wolves. How could she possibly still be alive?”

Seeing her daughter in this state, Madam Mu felt as if her heart were being cut by a knife.

“Xi’er, sit down first. Let Mother tell you properly…”

Under Madam Mu’s appeasement, Mu Xi’s emotions gradually calmed down, and she slowly realized that everything that happened during the day was not a dream.

Mu Ning was truly alive and had returned for Revenge!

Not only had her actions been exposed to the world, but she had also been expelled from the family in front of the Emperor Dongfeng!

Lu He calling her Second Young Lady was correct, because she was no longer a member of the Mu Family!

Mu Xi bit her lip so hard she drew blood. “Mother, what about Prince Qi? He believes me, right?”

Madam Mu sighed. “Xi’er, although Prince Qi has true feelings for you, your marriage... I'm afraid it won't be possible.”

Tears rolled down Mu Xi’s Eye sockets like a flood. She let out a wail and threw herself into Madam Mu’s arms, sobbing loudly.

“Mother, I don’t want to! I must marry Prince Qi. Help me, please…”

Hugging her daughter who wouldn't stop crying, Madam Mu felt extreme heartache.

“Xi’er, don't worry. Your father and I have discussed it. Once the uproar subsides, we will first send you to Prince Qi's Mansion.”

Mu Xi stopped crying and slowly raised her head from Madam Mu’s embrace, a glimmer of hope sparking in her tear-filled eyes.

“Mother, I can still marry Prince Qi?”

Madam Mu hesitated before speaking. “Xi’er, you might have to be Wronged temporarily. Prince Qi’s intention is for you to start as a Concubine first. After you give birth to the Child in your belly next year, he will find a way to secure the position of Secondary Consort for you.”

Mu Xi could hardly believe her ears. “Mother, what are you saying? I am the Prime Minister's Mansion's Second Young Lady; how can I be a Concubine? If the other Noble Families' young ladies find out, how will they mock me behind my back?”
