“Alright, I’m not blaming you.” Ling Yan held its tiny body in the palm of her hand.
“I knew Sister was the best.” Little Vine happily rolled around in her palm.
“Sister, are you really okay with giving the spring water from your space to an outsider?” Little Vine thought of the question and asked her.
“How does a tiny little vine know so much? Li Quan died in the previous life while trying to save Ling Yan, so he can still be trusted.” Ling Yan stroked its vines as she spoke.
“Although I’ve always stayed in the space, sometimes I hear the little flowers and grass talking. After listening for so long, I gradually learned to understand them. Sister, wait a moment. I’ll go get something good for you.”
After saying that, Little Vine slipped away.
A short while later, Ling Yan saw Little Vine seemingly carrying something toward her.
When she took a closer look, she realized it was carrying a porcelain bottle.

Hearing this, Ling Yan bent down and picked up the porcelain bottle.
There was a note attached to it with three words written on it: “Loyalty Pill.”
“Thank you, Little Vine. I’ll dilute some Spirit Spring water and take it outside first.”
Ling Yan went over to the Spirit Spring and filled a cup with some of its water before leaving the space.
“Sister, is this your room? It’s so small!”
Little Vine had followed her out of the space as well.
Ling Yan twitched her lips when she heard that. This room was only considered small in Little Vine’s eyes. To everyone else, it was quite spacious.
“Yanyan, why are you in the kitchen? Were you not full after dinner?”
Hearing a noise downstairs, Li Quan got up and came out to check. When he saw Ling Yan in the kitchen, he assumed she had not eaten enough.
“Uncle Li, I just came to get a cup of water.”
As she spoke, Ling Yan showed him the water in her cup.
“Then go rest after you get your water. We still have a lot to do tomorrow.”
Seeing that she was merely thirsty, Li Quan relaxed.
“Uncle Li, I told you that when the zombies appear, neither you nor I will have a Supernatural Ability, right?”
Ling Yan stopped him.
“Yanyan, don’t worry. This time, Uncle Li will definitely stay by your side and protect you.”
Li Quan thought she was frightened, so he comforted her.
“No. What if I told you there was a way to awaken a Supernatural Ability ahead of time, but you had to take this? Would you agree?”
Ling Yan showed him the Loyalty Pill.
Li Quan only glanced at the words on the porcelain bottle before pouring out a pill and swallowing it without hesitation.

Li Quan reassured her.
Ling Yan took a deep breath and handed him the cup of water.

Li Quan took the cup and drank it without hesitation.

Ling Yan had Little Vine find the two corresponding fruits, after which she took them out of the space.

Ling Yan handed him a golden fruit and an invisible fruit.
Li Quan ate the fruits and then followed the method Ling Yan had taught him, slowly sensing the unfamiliar power inside his body.

Although he could not use his abilities very powerfully yet, Li Quan was already completely satisfied.
This meant that he and Ling Yan would have another layer of protection when surviving in the apocalypse.

As Ling Yan spoke, she took a hamburger out of her space and began eating it.

Ling Yan did not refuse his concern for her.
