The car fell silent in an instant, Cen Wangyue too frightened to move.

She knew very well that Sheng Tangzhou was full of mischief and would truly do something like this.

Cen Wangyue couldn’t help but angrily curse at him, “Sheng Tangzhou, you pervert!”Full novel: Spoiled Little Drama Queen, Abstinent CEO Addicted to Spoiling His Wife — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

A glint of amusement flickered in Sheng Tangzhou’s eyes as he retorted, “Me? A pervert?”

Their bodies were pressed tightly together, her delicate hand inadvertently brushing against the man’s muscular chest.

In the confined space, a prolonged affair was about to brew.

He pinched her chin, his gaze fixed on her red lips as they opened and closed, while Cen Wangyue’s mocking words came to his ears from time to time.

Noisy.

Sheng Tangzhou let out a soft tsk, then leaned down to kiss her lips, silencing her with practiced ease, the sounds of their deep kiss echoing in his ears.

Cen Wangyue was held so tightly she couldn’t muster any strength, her fingers gripping Sheng Tangzhou’s suit gradually turning white as she went from forced endurance to active response.

Her lips went numb from the kissing, her beautiful peach-blossom eyes shimmering with a layer of moisture.

After a long while, Sheng Tangzhou finally stopped the lingering kiss.

Cen Wangyue panted slightly, her hands pressed against Sheng Tangzhou’s chest, her consciousness gradually drifting.

She instinctively shrank back, saying to him in a fierce tone, “Sheng… Sheng Tangzhou, you bastard.”

Sheng Tangzhou glanced at her sideways, using his thumb to wipe away the lipstick mark at the corner of her mouth.

Pausing for a few seconds, he suddenly leaned close to Cen Wangyue, pressing against her ear, and said in a hoarse voice, “Curse at me one more time, and I’ll kiss you for ten minutes.”

Cen Wangyue trembled with anger, biting her lip and wishing she could be three meters away from him.

She took out her phone and complained to Fang Yinian.

[Cen Wangyue]: Niannian! Sheng Tangzhou is way too much! He comes back without a word, fine, but then he interrogates me question after question—am I his company subordinate? Who acts like this as a husband?!

[Fang Yinian]: I’m busy.

Those simple three words left Cen Wangyue stunned. Was this something Fang Yinian would say?

When had she ever replied so coldly?

[Cen Wangyue]: Niannian TuT If you’ve been kidnapped by that wicked stepbrother of yours, send a period, and I’ll come rescue you right away!

Five minutes passed, and Fang Yinian still hadn’t replied.

Cen Wangyue had a strong premonition—could her good best friend be in grave danger?

If Sheng Tangzhou had X-ray vision, he would have seen that she was now radiating dark energy, a full well of resentment bursting forth from the ground.

As if summoned, Sheng Tangzhou cast a glance at her, and seeing that her phone screen was still on the WeChat interface, he casually asked, “Show me the chat history between you and me.”

Cen Wangyue’s body stiffened, and she instinctively hid her phone behind her back, loudly protesting, “What for? Isn’t there any basic trust between husband and wife? Just because you say you want to see it, I have to show you? Don’t push it, Sheng Tangzhou!”

Sheng Tangzhou’s brow twitched, and he suddenly felt that communicating with her was exhausting. This wasn’t marrying a wife—it was clearly enshrining an ancestor at home.

At least an ancestor would respond when called.

He said in a low voice, “I mean the chat history between me and you—just the two of us. I only want to see if you received the messages I sent you earlier.”

Of the messages he sent her, she would typically reply to only two out of ten, and sometimes a single message would go unanswered for ten days to half a month.

If it weren’t for the twenty-first century, he would have thought he was living in ancient times, communicating with Cen Wangyue entirely by carrier pigeon.

Hearing this, Cen Wangyue was even more determined not to show him. Not only had she set Sheng Tangzhou to Do Not Disturb, but even the nickname she’d given him couldn’t be discovered by him.

Because she had saved Sheng Tangzhou’s contact name as: ATM That Doesn’t Come Home.

She took a deep breath. “I received it, I just forgot to reply. I’ve kept every gift you’ve sent back home safe.”

Perhaps her last words touched Sheng Tangzhou’s heart, easing the tension between them. His Adam’s apple moved as he felt a surge of pleasure.

The two returned to Qinyuan without further incident. This was their wedding home, where Cen Wangyue had been living since their marriage.

The lights were on inside. It was late at night, and the servants stayed in the adjacent building.

The house looked just as it always had, except now, with a mistress in residence, there were extra decorative touches that added a hint of warmth.

Cen Wangyue casually kicked off her high heels and headed straight to the bedroom to shower, with Sheng Tangzhou silently following behind her.

Before he could step into the room, bang—Cen Wangyue had already shut the door.

Sheng Tangzhou raised a hand to rub his brow. What was wrong with her now?

Cen Wangyue quickly gathered her clothes and went into the bathroom, not even sparing Sheng Tangzhou a glance.

The sound of running water drifted from the bathroom. Sheng Tangzhou let out a silent scoff. He took off his glasses and placed them on the nightstand, catching a glimpse of Cen Wangyue’s phone lying there.

A thought suddenly crossed his mind. He opened WeChat and sent her a sticker.

The phone screen didn’t light up as usual.

Sure enough, she had him on Do Not Disturb.

He unlocked Cen Wangyue’s phone, and the first thing that met his eyes was his own profile picture. Then he looked at the contact name.

[ATM That Doesn’t Come Home]

Ha. So to her, he was just an ATM that didn’t come home?

If he was an ATM, then what was she?

A money-devouring beast?

Sheng Tangzhou let out a light scoff, deleted the chat record, and his dark eyes fixed on the frosted glass door.

He walked into the walk-in closet, began undressing, and went through another door to the guest bedroom’s bathroom to shower.

The bathroom was filled with steam. Cen Wangyue was still thinking about how Fang Yinian hadn’t replied to her message, when it suddenly hit her that she’d left her phone on the nightstand.

She closed her eyes gently in the bathtub, enjoying the warm bubble bath as her fatigue washed away and her mood lifted.

Sheng Tangzhou hadn’t been home for a year. For his sake, she could force herself to get along with him peacefully for a few days.

Suddenly, the kiss they’d shared in the car earlier resurfaced in her mind—like rain after a long drought, igniting a longing she’d kept buried deep inside.

It had been over a year since they’d last been intimate, and she found herself missing it.

Although theirs was a business marriage, and he’d been abroad all year building his career, he’d always given her whatever she wanted, no matter how busy he was.

From his looks to his physique, Sheng Tangzhou fit her ideal type in every way.

The untouchable flower of the capital was actually hers. Just thinking about it felt pretty damn good.

Cen Wangyue finished her bath with these thoughts in mind and returned to the bedroom. Sheng Tangzhou had already washed up and was working on his tablet.

The man had just showered, wearing silk pajamas. The bedroom was filled with the fresh scent of bergamot, and with his gold-rimmed glasses, he looked refined and dignified.

On second thought, Sheng Tangzhou looked rather like a gentleman scoundrel at the moment.

Experts say keeping a happy mood before bed prevents premature aging.

Seeing a handsome man before sleep made her even happier.

Cen Wangyue lifted a corner of the duvet and lay down contentedly.

A curved smile played on her lips. “I’m going to sleep now. Remember to turn off the lights.”

In the bedroom, only a dim yellow lamp was left on. Sheng Tangzhou’s gaze quietly lingered on her sleeping face, his gentle eyes never straying for even a moment.

Sheng Tangzhou said nothing, reaching out to wrap an arm around her waist. His lips pressed against her earlobe, the scent of roses from her bath permeating the air around them.

His hands roamed over her body with deliberate provocation, drawing out a coquettish murmur from her and stirring a wave of desire.

Cen Wangyue met his gaze, precisely pressing her lips to his thin ones. Their tongues tangled together, neither yielding to the other. His possessive assault pushed her deeper into the pillow.

Her alluring peach-blossom eyes glazed over with a mist of tears as she gradually sank into the pleasure, which came in wave after wave.

Cen Wangyue’s fingers threaded through Sheng Tangzhou’s hair, her eyes half-lidded. Under his forceful advances, her legs shifted restlessly.

Sheng Tangzhou left a mark on the side of her neck. Her fair skin flushed crimson, and a single tear slipped from the corner of her eye.

The sight stirred Sheng Tangzhou’s heart. He was thoroughly pleased with her reaction, his tone carrying an unyielding certainty.

“Open your eyes and watch how the ATM dispenses money.”
