19 – President, What Do You Need Sanitary Napkins For?

Fu Chenxuan turned back, his hand on the doorknob as if to push it open, but the girl pushed him away. “Wait—could you… call a maid over?”
His hand stilled. He studied her hiding behind the door, a glimmer of understanding in his eyes, then chuckled softly. “Alright.”
Seeing his seemingly knowing smile, Chu Ruan felt even hotter.
And the flow beneath grew more urgent.
Please, not so fast—she didn’t want to face even more awkwardness later.
Fu Chenxuan curved his lips, pretending to call a maid. He went downstairs and instructed the kitchen to prepare brown sugar water, then fetched clean clothes for Chu Ruan and asked the maid for a sanitary napkin.

Frowning, Fu Chenxuan clarified, “For the young madam. Where are they kept?”

Fu Chenxuan retrieved them, had the maid explain which type to use when, then took the overnight sanitary napkin and returned.
Chu Ruan was anxiously waiting when the bathroom door knocked. It opened halfway, and clean clothes were handed in, with the sanitary napkin placed on top.
She hurried over, pulling the door open a sliver. “Thank—”
