The moment Sora saw the magic circle, he reacted as if blood had rushed straight to his head.
His Progenitor Vampire bloodlust suddenly spread through the entire palace.
The elf girls busy dancing and having fun couldn't hold out for even a second. They fainted and collapsed to the floor.
Even the elf warriors started struggling to breathe.
Seated on the royal throne, watching the feast, the Elf King looked at his people, whose souls were on the verge of being torn apart by the bloodlust. He stood up without a moment's hesitation.
He took a stance toward where Sora was, as if he were holding a bow. A spirit bow and a spirit arrow made of pure spiritual energy appeared in his hands.
Sora stepped slightly aside and let the arrow, which had pierced the wall behind him, fly past the side of his neck.
At the same time, he pulled his bloodlust back as if nothing had happened.
Based on his experience, this summoning circle would reset the powers he had gained as it took him back to Earth, and then the Goddess would summon him.
But he hadn't wasted all those years just fighting.
During that time, he had figured out why he hadn't lost the Goddess's Blessings like his classmates had.
He had discovered that at the center of every person's soul was a part called the Soul Core, which preserved a person's karma and consciousness.
Since his own spiritual power was higher than an ordinary person's, his Soul Core was also sturdier than normal.
On top of that, unlike other powers, the Goddess's Blessings were bound to the soul through karma, so they resided in the Soul Core.
The power of the magic circle that cleansed his soul had never been strong enough to wear down his Soul Core. That was why he had been able to keep the Goddess's Blessings all this time.
This time, Sora's plan was simple.
He would concentrate as much of his spiritual power as he could into his Soul Core.
That way, he could hide most of his power. And the moment he saw that damn Goddess, he could kill her without hesitation.
It was safe to say that what he feared most was the Goddess actually not summoning him again.
Before the familiar soul-cleansing divine power appeared, Sora closed his eyes and began focusing all his power into his Soul Core.
After a while, he felt something outside his expectations and his experience.
The magic circle beneath his feet was far more savage than usual, and impossible to resist.
Sora instinctively activated his fourth Blessing, the Succubus Eyes.
A seductive purple glow lit up in his usually pale pink eyes as the unique ability of the succubi activated.
Within seconds, Sora analyzed the magic circle beneath his feet.
This magic circle was nothing like the ones he had always seen.
Normally, a magic circle held a divine power that made it impossible to understand. But this one looked entirely like human work.
Of course, looking like human work didn't make it human work.
After all, at his very first glance at this complex magic circle, he recognized a few of the many spells hidden inside it.
Attack, imprisonment, curse, restriction, soul marking, transportation...
Sora had been one of the greatest mages in his fourth world, yet he thought he had never seen a magic circle this complex.
His body didn't move at all, but he resisted the circle's exploitative power with everything he had.
A few seconds later, his efforts went to waste.
After the magic circle absorbed the power in his soul, it even began absorbing the Blessings hidden in his Soul Core.
Then, a burst of light.
.
.
.
When Sora opened his eyes again, he was somewhere completely different.
He wasn't in a White Void, or in his classroom with its blue walls.
Before he had a chance to relax, he saw a woman in front of him.
Well, he hadn't even fully seen her yet.
The information sent from his eyes to his brain had only just formed the image of a woman sitting on the floor. Without waiting for his neurons to deliver the whole message, he moved to attack.
[Restriction!]
The thought of attacking scattered the instant it formed in Sora's mind. All that was left there was a warning on a holographic display.
"No way! Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god. Hehehehehe."
Sora lowered his eyes to the source of the giggling.
White legs coming out of a short skirt. Long, straight, messy hair somewhere between brown and black. Pink eyes just like Sora's. Blood trickling from a small nose. And the most eye-catching of all, a small bunny-shaped hairpin in her hair.
The moment Sora looked at Elena, a pile of information about the relationship between them appeared in his memory, and the magic circle, having completed its last function, went dark.
(Sora: What, so I'm this weak girl's summon?)
(Elena: Holy shit, he's even hotter than I imagined.)
