Sora's field of vision was filled with notification screens that popped up with every killing intent and erased it.
Elena's field of vision, on the other hand, was covered by a filter full of pink hearts, and that had nothing to do with her ability.
Almost drooling, Elena stared in admiration at the tall man in cool black clothes, at the emotionless looks he was giving her, at his long white hair.
Just then, a system screen opened in front of Elena.

Even though Elena kept staring at Sora's handsome face, her eyes instinctively drifted to the golden glow of the Lvl MAX text.
After looking for a few seconds, she realized that Sora really had been called a hero somewhere.
An average, healthy student entering the Awakening Ceremony had a score of 1 in most stats, apart from special stats like Energy or Resistance. With that in mind, Sora already looked like a successful student who had finished his first year of university.
Once she was done looking over the whole list with admiration and envy, she tapped the parentheses to see all of Sora's titles.
(Fate Evader, Sage of the Great Forest, Enemy of the Crown, Breath of Darkness, King of Knights, Heavenly Demon, Born of the Blood Pool, Merciless Demon, Absolute Ruler of Murim, Founding Ancestor of the Rebirth Sect, Youngest Magic Emperor, Knight of Bounty, Progenitor of Vampires, Sovereign of the Night, Defier of the Holy, Denier of Death, Enemy of the Gods, Bathed in the Blood of the World Will, Lord of Spirits, Savior of the Elves, The Succubus Who Seduced Even Goddesses, Hero of Seven Tales... (Expand to see more)) This story is hosted at novelping(.)com.
The perverted smile on Elena's face had already given way to shock a while ago, but seeing this string of titles shocked her even more.
As if a possibility had suddenly occurred to her, she immediately expanded it again.
[Titles:
Sage of the Great Forest (Senses +5%, Energy +5%)
Enemy of the Crown (Resistance +10%)
Breath of Darkness (Energy +10%)
Merciless Demon (Strength +10%)
Knight of Bounty (Endurance +5%, Energy +5%)
Defier of the Holy (Resistance +10%)]
By the time Elena read this part of the titles, she was already breathing through her nose.
Even Sora, seeing her reaction, gave her a strange look and started examining his surroundings.
Fate Evader (Soul +50%, Resistance +50%)
Savior of the Elves (Senses +50%, Soul +50%)
King of Knights (Strength +50%, Endurance +30%, Speed +20%)

By the time Elena got to this point, she was already close to slipping into a vegetative state.
Each of these titles, with buffs totaling a hundred percent, was a mid-tier title. Everyone who held titles like these, recognized by the Dream Realm, was already nobility. And even they usually didn't hold more than one mid-tier title at the same time.
Absolute Ruler of Murim (Strength +150%, Speed +150%, Endurance +100%, Senses +100%)
Progenitor of Vampires (Endurance +150%, Strength +100%, Resistance +100%, Senses +100%, Speed +50%)

Sora looked at all the pictures on the walls and more or less figured out what kind of person the girl who had summoned him was.
It was a little disappointing to be summoned into this new world without stopping by the Goddess first, but he didn't care.
When he heard something hit the floor behind him, he turned around.
Elena had fainted from shock.
Sora looked at the girl lying on the floor for a while.
Her hair was spread out across the rug, and the blood from her nose had started to dry at the corner of her lips. Her short skirt had ridden up when she fell. Sora's gaze involuntarily slid to the white legs stretching out from under the skirt. They were pale, as if they had never seen the sun, slender but softly curved.
He stayed like that for a moment.
Based on what he had learned about this girl, the chance that she was harmless was a hundred percent.
She was probably like the abandoned noble girl who had summoned him as a spirit in the last world.
But there was one difference. The summoning magic this girl had used was far more advanced, and it kept him from even feeling killing intent toward her.
Then again, in this modern era, manipulating a simple girl with hobbies like these shouldn't be too hard.
Then he bent down and picked the girl up.
He laid her on the bed with its pink sheets and put the bunny hairpin that had slipped from her hair when she fell next to the pillow.
He left the room.
A woman was standing in the kitchen, which was open to the living room.
Her brown hair was gathered in a loose bun, and a few strands had fallen from her neck onto her cream-colored cardigan. Even the tiredness on her face couldn't hide her soft features, which resembled her daughter's.
Sora knew at a single glance. She was the girl's mother.
He was just about to open his mouth when, out of the corner of his eye, he caught the view outside through the living room's huge windows.
He forgot the woman and walked to the window.
Beyond the glass stood rows of ten-story buildings, and past them, massive walls stretching up to the sky.
Apart from the walls, everything looked like the modern world he had longed for.
Cars drove down the streets, some kids rode bikes, and plenty of people walked along with their heads buried in their phones.
After all those years of longing, he decided to stay by this girl's side for a while and satisfy his craving for the blessings of modern technology, even if it meant pretending to be someone he wasn't.
The moment Rosalind saw the stranger walking out of her daughter's room, she accidentally cut herself with the knife in her hand.
More importantly, this long-white-haired boy had walked out of her daughter's room as if it were completely normal, looked her up and down once, and then headed straight for the window.
Rosalind did wonder when exactly her daughter had snuck a guy into the house behind her back. But in truth, her first impression wasn't bad at all.
As an artist, like anyone else, her prejudices were shaped by aesthetics.
Even if this boy had awakened the worst Profession, if he was serious, he would definitely be a first-class son-in-law candidate. After all, her own daughter had more or less awakened the worst Profession too.
But a moment later, what pulled Rosalind out of her thoughts were her maternal instincts.
Her brows furrowed.
"Who the fuck are you?"
