“Elite warriors?” Areth said while raising an eyebrow, he knew his parents were strong, but he didn’t think they were of the elite rank, as they never told him what rank they were specifically.

“Elite warriors are way above normal warriors in power and abilities. On top of that, they have a cool red and black recolor of the pulsarian warrior uniform!”

Areth was quite surprised at the fact that she knew who his parents were, as he didn’t remember them being famous in any way, and wondered if all elite warriors are treated like celebrities in Astra Nabular.Full novel: STAR QUEST — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“So tell me, Janzia.”

?

“What is it?” She wondered.

“What is this ‘class S’ you are a part of?” He asked her, she explained to him that usually they are multiple classes each with different overal strenghts that are class E, F, D, C, B, A, with E being the weakest of the school, but then the organization realized that some students were still way stronger than everyone else, so they made an extra class called named ‘Class S’, which consists of roughly only 10 students out of the 400 currently here, but 6 of the ten students already left and became full-blown warriors.

“So there’s only 4 students in your class?”

“Well…It’s not like we do anything in the class anyway.” She proclaimed when suddenly static could be heard across the training grounds, and a male voice echoed from it.

[STUDENT JANZIA KO, YOU ARE DEMANDED AT ROOM 409, STUDENT JANZIA KO, YOU ARE DEMANDED AT ROOM 409. THANK YOU.]

“Oh, looks like they need me.”

“I appreciated the talking, but now I need to go, bye-bye!” She said while waving at him as she quickly flew towards the exit of the training grounds.

Areth wondered to himself what she would be doing if she weren’t studying here anyway, and also walked out of the place.

As the day went on and night came, Areth went for a walk to the convenience store as Aylih wanted a sandwich, and he also felt hungry.

“Damn, I should really learn how to cook the ingredients on this planet…” He said as he sighed.

While walking on the sidewalk, he saw movement in the corner of his right eye and turned his head to see what it was about, when he saw a group of women sitting in a circle.

Looking at them, he saw that they were laughing while kicking another woman who was on the ground in a fetal position.

Seeing this, he turned towards the direction of the women before walking in the alleyway.

“Hey, what are you doing!?” He shouted at them as they all turned to look at him.

The girls took a second to look at him before one of them shouted back.

Areth wasn’t threatened in the slightest and proceeded to walk forward when, suddenly, a ball of energy came flying at him, which he quickly deflected to the wall on his side.

!?

“What the hell!?” He said in surprise as another woman told him to leave, as it was none of his business.

At this point, Areth was visually annoyed.

He was almost 40, well, at least spiritually, and really didn’t feel like dealing with a group of teenage girls in the middle of the night.

So he decided to do something that would resolve the situation quickly and unleashed his aura, overwhelming the girls as he threatened them.

“…I will say this a single time.”

“If you don’t stop what you are doing right now, I can’t assure you that you will leave with all your limbs intact.” He said with a serious and cold tone.

Frightened, the girls quickly made their way out of the alleyway, saying that they would remember this as they left the innocent woman on the ground, with visible wounds on her body.

Areth looked at the woman as he helped her get back up and asked her if she was alright regardless of her injuries, to which she replied that she was fine, as it isn’t the first time she gets beaten like this anyway.

Her appearance, other than the bruises, was that of a woman, skinnier than your average pulsarian.

She had bangs covering her eyes and long silver hair and wore a black hoodie with pink pants and sandals.

“Hey, what’s your name?” Areth asked her.

“…”

“…Kirela,” she muttered, which Areth heard.

“You look around my age. What school are you in?”

“Astra Nebular…”

“Huh, I’m in that school too,” Areth said with a surprised look on his face.

“What class are you in?” He asked her which, and she replied that she was in class E, which surprised Areth even more, as it was the first time he had ever interacted with a student from that class and wanted to ask her a more private question.

“…”

Kirela’s eyes started to tear up, and she mustered the strength to say the thing she found the most pathetic about herself.

“B-because I’m the weakest i-in the whole school!” She said as she started to burst into tears, and she quickly attempted to run out of the alleyway before Areth caught her arm.

“…Let go of me!” She said as she continued to cry, but he didn’t let go as he asked her if she was hungry.

“…What?”

“You look hungry, let’s get food.”

“…”

“..Okay.”

Areth and Kirela walked down the street towards the convenience store, and people looked at the two with concerned looks, which embarrassed Kirela, but he didn’t care, and they went to get sandwiches and a juice box, and the girl excused herself as she quickly went into the store’s bathroom to clean herself up before coming back cleaner than before.

As the two made it out of the store, Areth told her to follow him as he continued to walk the quiet, nightly streets of Lesrot towards a place that she didn’t expect, an empty park.

Although hesitant, she followed him into it as they both sat on a bench and ate their food.

“Kirela was it?” He asked her.

“….Yes”

“I’ll train you.”

“…”

“…What?” She replied, slightly confused at what he said.

“I’ll make you stronger, so that you will be able to defend yourself against them.”
