Time never stops.
After successfully passing the hunting trial and forging my spear, Destiny, my life continued with the same routine of training and developing the droid workshop.
My group of companions and I continued training under the guidance of my aunt, who served as our instructor.
We began practicing Fenrir’s Second Spear Form.
Thanks to the training chambers, everyone achieved proficiency in the First Form.
I had reached a bottleneck in the First Form.
I was already close to the advanced level, but I took it calmly.
I was no longer going to let frustration get the better of me; my goal was clear.
The months passed quickly.
Today I turned eleven years old, and I was celebrating with my companions at a small shop in the clan market, eating white deer meat.
Its flavor was delicious.
Everyone was happy; each of us had made progress in the area where we excelled the most.
Alf had already begun learning Fenrir’s Second Spear Form.
He had grown taller—though still shorter than me.
He was adapting more and more to his role as the team’s tank.
Although he had not yet obtained his chaotic crystal spear, my aunt mentioned that a trial would soon be held to enter the Wolf Cave and earn those crystals.
As a result, he trained hard every day.
He is a tenacious warrior; that is the quality that stands out most about him.
Ali, like Alf, would also participate in that trial.
She had begun specializing more in the laser bow, but she never stopped training with the spear.
Her role within the team would be similar to that of an assassin ranger.
She had already mentioned that she planned to craft her bow using her chaotic crystal, along with a pair of small spears for each hand, which would allow her to move with agility without being hindered.
Efi continued helping me build the droid factory.
In addition to her spear, she decided to create two blaster pistols similar to revolvers.
I gave her that idea, and she liked it a lot.
We spent days designing the model until we finally made it functional.
She never went anywhere without them.
Her wolf pup had grown faster than others its age.
I suppose the potion had a lot to do with that.
And finally, Val.
I suppose that if I did not exist, she would be a strong candidate to become the clan’s next leader.
She had already begun learning the Second Spear Form and had reached the apprentice level.
I think it was the form that suited her best.
What can I say about myself?
I had finally broken through my bottleneck in the First Form, reaching the advanced level.
My Observation Haki had expanded to a range of four hundred meters, and I could maintain it continuously within a seventy-five-meter radius.
As for my use of the Force, I had learned to wield it with greater efficiency and precision.
I could perform repairs and construct droids with much greater accuracy using this ability alone.
Thanks to my enhanced intelligence, I was able to handle many tasks at the same time.
However, I tried not to overdo it, since there was one occasion when my brain became overloaded and I was forced to rest for an entire week—while also enduring a lengthy scolding from my mother.
As for my droid factory, I decided to first create a Super Tactical Droid.
It would serve as the factory’s brain and a perfect assistant thanks to its advanced processing capabilities.
I planned to use the artificial intelligence from the Library of Knowledge, which would save me a great deal of time, since creating an intelligence of that magnitude from scratch would take years.
At first, I made very little progress.
The knowledge required was simply too advanced.
However, with the help of Athena and the library’s artificial intelligence, I began the construction of this Super Tactical Droid.
My greatest challenge was creating a mechanical brain capable of housing the artificial intelligence and utilizing at least ten percent of its capacity.
The library contained a massive chamber where the core of the artificial intelligence was located: a giant black sphere with a radius of three meters.
Unlike Athena, it had no name and no emotions.
It was simply an extremely advanced analytical machine.
We spent months developing prototypes for that mechanical brain without seeing any real progress.
Then one day, inspiration struck.
Perhaps I should not focus solely on the droid’s head.
The torso could also serve as part of the processing system.
Thanks to that new idea, progress accelerated dramatically.
Athena provided the most important materials.
Within the Forest of Origin there was a warehouse spanning several hectares, filled with resources.
At present, the Super Tactical Droid is approximately seventy percent complete.
The only thing remaining is linking the artificial intelligence of the Library of Knowledge to the droid itself.
That is the most difficult step.
Once it is completed, I will have an extraordinary assistant.
Well…
in addition to Athena, of course, although she still cannot appear openly within Clan Fen’ruus.
Once this project is finished, I will begin building medical droids.
As we all know, the medical industry is one of the most profitable sectors, and it will help me accumulate enough resources for my next objective:
Only elite units, but redesigned to fit the style of Clan Fen’ruus.
As for the export and sale of potatoes, the product became highly sought after by social elites and governors from the Outer Rim worlds.
We have also expanded the size of our fleet.
My mother has a friend on Mandalore, which makes acquiring cargo vessels much easier.
We increased our fleet from two one-hundred-ton cargo ships to ten.
But that was not all.
We also expanded our escort force from two modified light gunships to four, each with greater endurance for long-distance travel and stronger defensive capabilities.
The arsenal itself has not been significantly upgraded yet, but improvements are already underway.
Among our primary customers are members of the governmental elite of Ryloth—the Twi’leks.
We also sell to the Toydarians of Toydaria, who were our very first customers.
We secured that partnership thanks to Efi’s mother, who rescued one of the children of a prominent Toydarian family.
Finally, we also trade with Ord Mantell, a world known for its role as a major port and a haven for smugglers.
Because of the pollution caused by heavy industrialization, food production there is extremely difficult.
Its large population makes it an excellent market for our product.
Dangerous as it may be, the profits are enormous.
We also began expanding our potato fields.
We started clearing portions of the outer forest and constructing a defensive wall to protect the plantations from wild beast incursions.
At first, the process was complicated.
We had to destroy several red-eyed rabbit habitats, but it was necessary for our progress.
With the help of droids and industrial construction robots, we completed the defensive wall surprisingly quickly.
It took only a month.
Our projections estimate that within a year we will double the size of our plantations—and, with them, our exports.
The warriors of the clan had become noticeably stronger after consuming the finest potatoes for two years.
Their physical capabilities had improved by approximately ten percent.
That may not sound like much, but for a Fierce Fang or a Dark Wolf Guardian, that difference can mean the line between life and death.
My mother, my aunt, and the old blacksmith also experienced physical improvements.
However, for them the process was slower.
They had already reached much higher levels of strength, so achieving the same percentage of improvement would take considerably longer.
As for Ragnar, he was growing rapidly.
He had already reached the size of a young wolf.
He had learned to control his abilities more effectively and could move through space with greater ease.
However, he was still unable to transport me alongside him and could only travel short distances.
I suppose he still has a long way to go before he can travel between planets.
Everything comes step by step.
