There will be parts to differentiate it from movie production
Part 1 – The Ritual and the Beginning of a Dream
The first rays of dawn had only begun to spread across Hyderabad when the usually quiet Konidela Production House came alive.
The spacious courtyard was beautifully decorated with fresh mango leaves, colorful rangoli patterns, jasmine garlands, and traditional brass lamps.
The cool morning breeze carried the fragrance of sandalwood, camphor, and incense, creating a peaceful and sacred atmosphere.
Today was no ordinary day.
It marked the official beginning of Konidela Production House’s most ambitious film to date.
Inside the main prayer hall, members of the entire Konidela family had already gathered.
Everyone wore elegant traditional attire, and despite their excitement, a respectful silence prevailed as the priests chanted ancient Vedic hymns.
At the center of the hall, a beautifully decorated altar had been prepared with idols of Lord Ganesha and Goddess Saraswati.
The film’s bound screenplay rested beside a brand-new clapboard, a ceremonial coconut, and a camera wrapped with flower garlands.
Producer Nagendra Babu stood beside the altar with folded hands.
Although he appeared calm on the outside, everyone close to him could sense the responsibility resting on his shoulders.
This project represented much more than another production.
It was the dream of an entire family.
Standing beside him was director N.
Hari, holding the screenplay with both hands.
His eyes remained fixed on the sacred fire as he silently prayed that every scene he had imagined would come alive exactly as envisioned.
A few moments later, another car entered the premises.
The entire family turned toward the entrance with welcoming smiles.
Kamal Haasan arrived with his family.
As soon as they stepped inside, Chiranjeevi warmly embraced him.
“Anna Garu, welcome.”
Kamal smiled politely.
“Congratulations, Chiru.
Today marks the beginning of something special.”
The families exchanged greetings before joining the ceremony.
Sarika greeted Surekha warmly while little Shruthi, dressed in a beautiful traditional silk dress, immediately spotted Ram from across the hall.
Her face brightened instantly.
Without hesitation, she hurried toward him.
Ram, now old enough to recognize the expression, immediately sensed trouble.
‘Here we go again…’
Shruthi stopped beside him and smiled happily.
“Ram!”
Although everyone around them simply smiled at the adorable interaction, Ram internally sighed.
Ever since they had become friends, Shruthi had developed the habit of staying close to him whenever they met.
The priests then invited everyone important to the project to sit near the sacred fire.
Producer Nagendra Babu…
Director N.
Hari…
Young Ram…
Shruthi…
And the senior members of both families gathered around the altar.
One after another, they offered flowers, fruits, turmeric, rice, and coconuts while the priests recited blessings for prosperity, safety, and success.
As the sacred fire burned brightly, the chief priest blessed the screenplay before placing kumkum on its cover.
“May this film achieve great success.”
Everyone folded their hands respectfully.
“Aum.”
The ceremony concluded with the breaking of a coconut.
The crisp sound echoed throughout the hall.
A round of applause immediately followed.
The first step had officially been completed.
Soon afterward, the peaceful atmosphere transformed into the busy energy of a working film set.
Production assistants hurried from one corner to another.
Technicians checked equipment.
Art directors inspected the sets one final time.
Assistant directors reviewed shooting schedules while makeup artists prepared their workstations.
One after another, the cast members began arriving.
Veteran actress Shari S.
greeted everyone warmly before meeting Director Hari to discuss her role.
Sudha R.
soon followed, exchanging cheerful conversations with the Konidela family.
Kumara Bangarappa, who portrayed the dangerous antagonist Vinod, quietly introduced himself before carefully reading through the day’s shooting schedule.
Comedy veteran Sudhakara instantly lightened the atmosphere with his trademark humor, making several crew members laugh within minutes.
Finally, Ananth arrived, greeting every technician individually before joining the script discussion.
The supporting cast also gathered soon after.

Narasimha…
Yuvarani…
Sadhana…
Poojitha…
Prasad Rayala…
Veturi Rao…
Each actor met Director Hari for a final briefing regarding their respective characters.
Ram quietly observed everything from nearby.
Despite remembering filmmaking from his previous life, witnessing an actual production from this perspective felt completely different.
Hundreds of people worked together with incredible coordination.
Every individual had a specific responsibility.
No one stood idle.
No detail was considered too small.
The sheer scale of filmmaking fascinated him.
Outside the production office, however, another spectacle had already begun.
Nagendra Babu’s promotional strategy had exceeded everyone’s expectations.
Dozens of television channels…
Entertainment magazines…
Film journalists…
Newspaper photographers…
Regional reporters…
All had gathered outside the gates long before shooting officially began.
Large television cameras lined the entrance while photographers waited patiently for the first official photographs of the production.
After a brief discussion with the organizing team, Nagendra Babu nodded.
“Let’s begin the press interaction.”
Within minutes, a small stage had been arranged inside the conference hall.
Behind the speakers hung the film’s title banner, while the ceremonial clapboard rested proudly on display.
Producer Nagendra Babu took his seat at the center.
Director N.
Hari sat beside him.
Ram and Shruthi occupied the remaining seats, representing the film’s young lead characters.
The hall quickly filled with journalists.
Camera flashes illuminated the room almost continuously.
After greeting everyone, Nagendra Babu spoke first.
“Thank you all for coming so early this morning.
Your encouragement means a great deal to our production.
We hope to create a film that audiences of every age can enjoy.”
A senior journalist stood up first.
“Sir, why did you choose a child protagonist for such a serious thriller?”
Nagendra Babu smiled before gesturing toward Director Hari.
Hari adjusted the microphone.
This story is about intelligence, honesty, and standing against injustice.
Children often possess a sense of courage that adults sometimes lose.”
Several reporters nodded while taking notes.
Another journalist raised a different question.
“There are rumors that the female lead has undergone significant changes compared to the original script.”
Director Hari smiled knowingly.
“That is correct.”
“We introduced Ananya because we wanted the story to show teamwork instead of individual heroism.
She isn’t simply supporting the protagonist.
She’s equally intelligent and plays an important role throughout the investigation.”
The response immediately attracted interest throughout the hall.
Another reporter turned toward Ram and Shruthi.
“How are both of you preparing for such challenging roles?”
Ram answered politely.
“We’ve spent time understanding our characters and rehearsing together.
We’re trying to make Teja and Ananya feel like genuine children instead of exaggerated movie characters.”
Shruthi nodded with a bright smile.
“We’ve also been practicing classroom scenes and technical dialogues.
It’s been a lot of fun.”
Their sincerity earned appreciative smiles from the assembled media.
The interview continued for nearly half an hour before concluding with a group photograph.
As cameras flashed one final time, Nagendra Babu quietly looked toward Director Hari.
“The promotion has begun.”
Hari smiled.
“Now it’s time to make a film worthy of that attention.”
Outside, no one realized it yet…
But inside the soundstage…
The very first shot of a journey that would change countless lives was about to begin.
Part 2 – Lights, Camera…
Action!
Barely an hour after the press conference concluded, the atmosphere inside Konidela Production House changed completely.
The conversations and laughter gradually gave way to the disciplined rhythm of a professional film set.
Crew members hurried between departments carrying lights, reflectors, props, costumes, and camera equipment.
Assistant directors checked the call sheets repeatedly while the production manager coordinated everyone’s movements with practiced efficiency.
Director N.
Hari stood quietly in the center of the classroom set, carefully studying every corner before the first shot.
Nothing escaped his attention.
The position of the desks.
The lighting entering through the classroom windows.
The placement of the blackboard.
Even the chalk pieces had been arranged exactly as he had envisioned while writing the screenplay.
“Excellent,” he said with satisfaction.
“Let’s maintain this natural look.
I don’t want the classroom to feel artificial.”
The cinematographer nodded before giving instructions to the lighting crew.
Nearby, Ram and Shruthi had already changed into their school uniforms.
Ram now looked exactly like Teja—a bright sixth-grade student with curious eyes, neatly combed hair, and a school bag hanging over one shoulder.
Shruthi, dressed as Ananya, wore her hair neatly tied into two ponytails.
A stack of books rested comfortably in her arms, perfectly matching the image of a disciplined and intelligent student.
The costume designer stepped back after making a few final adjustments.
“They look exactly like schoolchildren.”
Director Hari smiled.
“That’s because I don’t want actors.”
“I want children.”
The makeup artists performed one last inspection before allowing both young actors onto the set.
Meanwhile, the supporting actors gathered nearby.
Shari S., playing Vice Principal Sarada, quietly rehearsed her dialogues.
Sudha R.
discussed a family scene with Sudhakara.
Kumara Bangarappa, who portrayed the ruthless criminal Vinod, remained seated in one corner, calmly studying his script.
Although his character would appear much later in the story, he had already arrived to observe the filmmaking process.

Narasimha, who played Teja’s strict mathematics teacher, rehearsed several expressions in front of a mirror, ensuring he appeared intimidating without becoming unrealistic.
Watching everyone prepare with such dedication impressed Ram.
Even experienced actors continued practicing until the very last moment.
There truly were no shortcuts in cinema.
“Silence on the set!”
The first assistant director’s voice echoed across the studio.
Immediately, every conversation stopped.
The cameraman positioned himself.
The boom operator adjusted the microphone.
The clapboard assistant walked into frame.
Director Hari sat behind the monitor and took a deep breath.
“This,” he said quietly, “is our first shot.”
Nagendra Babu folded his hands silently.
Everyone on set understood the importance of this moment.
The assistant raised the clapboard.
“Scene One…”
“Shot One…”
“Take One.”
Clap!
The sound echoed across the studio.
“Camera…”
“Rolling!”
“Sound…”
“Rolling!”
Director Hari looked at the monitor one final time.
Then smiled.
“Action!”
The camera slowly moved through Teja’s bedroom.
Books were stacked almost everywhere.
Electronic circuits covered one workbench.
Several partially assembled robots rested neatly beside scientific magazines.
Small cameras, lenses, wires, and batteries occupied almost every available space.
The room immediately established Teja’s personality without a single line of dialogue.
Ram entered the frame naturally, adjusting a miniature robot he had supposedly built the previous evening.
His expressions remained focused.
Completely immersed in his work.
Director Hari watched the monitor carefully.
A faint smile appeared.
The child wasn’t acting.
He looked as though he genuinely belonged inside that room.
The next sequence introduced Teja’s family.
Sudha R., portraying his caring mother, called him repeatedly for breakfast.
“Teja!”
“You’re going to be late for school again!”
Without looking away from his invention, Teja absentmindedly replied,
Exactly as every hardworking parent expected…
Those two minutes became nearly fifteen.
The crew chuckled softly behind the cameras.
The interaction felt incredibly authentic.
When Director Hari finally called,
“Cut!”
the entire set applauded lightly.
“Excellent.”
“Our very first shot is approved.”
The nervousness that had existed since morning disappeared almost instantly.
Everyone’s confidence grew.
Filming continued with several home sequences throughout the morning.
One memorable scene involved Teja secretly placing a tiny motion-activated robotic spider inside the living room.
The harmless gadget waited patiently beneath a newspaper.
A few seconds later, Sudhakara’s character unknowingly picked it up.
The tiny robot suddenly sprang to life.
“Ayyo!”
He jumped backward dramatically, dropping the newspaper onto the floor.
The crew burst into laughter.
Even Director Hari struggled to maintain his composure.
“Cut!”
He laughed before addressing Sudhakara.
“Sir…
that reaction was absolutely perfect.”
The veteran actor grinned.
“I didn’t have to act.”
“That little robot actually startled me.”
The entire set erupted into another round of laughter.
By afternoon, filming shifted to the classroom set.
Rows of school desks filled the room.
Nearly thirty child artists occupied their seats, creating the lively atmosphere of a real sixth-grade classroom.
Director Hari addressed everyone before filming.
“I don’t want anyone looking at the camera.”
“Forget this is a movie.”
“Imagine you’re actually attending school.”
The children nodded enthusiastically.
Soon…
“Action!”
The classroom instantly came alive.
Students whispered among themselves.
Some exchanged notebooks.
Others pretended to complete homework at the last moment.
Everything felt wonderfully natural.
Then…

Narasimha entered the classroom as the strict mathematics teacher.
His commanding presence immediately silenced the room.
He wrote a complicated mathematical equation across the blackboard before turning toward Teja.
“Mr.
Teja.”
“You seem very confident.”
“Why don’t you solve this problem?”
The classroom became silent.
Ram calmly stood from his seat.
Without showing even a hint of nervousness, he walked toward the blackboard.
He studied the equation for a few seconds before beginning the solution.
His writing appeared steady.
Confident.
Methodical.
Halfway through…
Shruthi, as Ananya, raised her hand.
“Sir…”
“I think there’s a mistake in the coefficient.”
The teacher frowned.
“What?”
Ananya stood respectfully.
“If Teja continues with that value, the final answer will be incorrect.”
Ram glanced toward her.
Their eyes met briefly.
A small smile appeared.
He immediately corrected the hidden coefficient before completing the theorem flawlessly.
Silence filled the classroom.
Then the child artists erupted into applause exactly as scripted.
The teacher stood speechless.
Director Hari watched the monitor without blinking.
Only after several seconds did he quietly say,
“…Cut.”
Nobody moved.
Then Director Hari slowly stood.
A broad smile spread across his face.
“Perfect.”
“That…”
“…is exactly the chemistry I imagined between Teja and Ananya.”
Nagendra Babu clapped first.
Soon the entire crew followed.
Even Kamal Haasan, who had remained on set after the pooja to encourage the young actors, smiled proudly.
“They don’t feel like performers,” he remarked to Chiranjeevi.
“They feel like two genuinely brilliant children.”
Chiranjeevi looked toward Ram and Shruthi with quiet pride.
“That’s what Hari wanted.”
“And they’re delivering it beautifully.”
As the applause gradually settled, Director Hari closed the script for the day.
“We’ve completed all scheduled scenes.”
“Tomorrow…”
He looked toward the next page of the screenplay.
“…we begin the school excursion.”
Ram glanced toward Shruthi.
Both of them knew what that meant.
The peaceful beginning of the story was over.
The real thriller…
Was about to begin.
To Be Continued…
