The hospital room was quiet.
Moonlight filtered through the curtains, casting a faint silver glow across the room while the city outside gradually settled into silence.
The occasional sounds of distant traffic could still be heard, but compared to the busy atmosphere of the daytime hospital, the night felt peaceful.
Meanwhile, Ram was having an internal crisis.
His tiny face scrunched up in frustration as he stared at the transparent blue screen floating before him.
Fortunately, nobody else could see it.
Otherwise, the doctors would probably think the newborn baby had somehow lost his mind.
“System,” Ram called out mentally.
“I still don’t understand.”
The screen flickered slightly.
“Out of all possible rewards, why this?
I mean, being handsome is great.
Being charming is also great.
But couldn’t you have given me something more useful?
Like acting talent, business knowledge, or a perfect memory?”
His complaints continued one after another.
The more he thought about it, the more unfair it seemed.
This was supposed to be a transmigration story.
Where was the overpowered cheat?
Where was the legendary talent package?
Where was the instant success button every protagonist seemed to receive?
The system remained silent for several moments before its calm mechanical voice finally responded.
[Host.]
[This reward is far more valuable than you currently understand.]
[You will realize its importance in the future.]
[Therefore, stop complaining.]
Ram’s lips twitched.
For some reason, the system sounded slightly annoyed, almost like a teacher dealing with a particularly troublesome student.
He immediately stopped arguing.
Still…
He felt cheated.
A little.
Actually, quite a lot.
After calming himself down, another thought suddenly appeared in his mind.
“Fine.”
“If there’s no better reward, what about missions?”
His mood instantly improved.
Most systems gave tasks.
Tasks gave rewards.
Rewards made people stronger.
Simple logic.
“System, do you have any quests available?”
This time, the answer came immediately.
Ding.
[Host currently has no available tasks.]
[No rewards available.]
Ram stared blankly.
“No tasks?”
[Correct.]
“No beginner missions?”
[Correct.]
“No rewards?”
[Correct.]
“No sign-in bonus?”
[Correct.]
For a moment, Ram felt his nonexistent blood pressure rising.
If babies could suffer from hypertension, he was probably qualified.
What kind of lazy system was this?
Apparently sensing his growing frustration, the system spoke once again.
[Host.]
[The system will now enter hibernation mode.]
Ram blinked.
Then blinked again.
“What?”
[Communication will be unavailable for an extended period.]
[Good luck, Host.]
[Let us meet again in the future.]
Ram’s expression completely froze.
A legendary golden finger had appeared.
Given him one reward.
Refused to explain anything.
And was now leaving.
Just like that.
Before he could say anything else, the transparent screen vanished.
The familiar presence disappeared completely.
Silence returned to the room.
Ram stared at the empty air for a long moment.
Finally, he sighed inwardly.
“This has to be the laziest system in history.”
No response came.
The system was truly gone.
In the end, Ram could only accept reality.
At least he still possessed the Incubus Physique reward, whatever that actually meant.
With nothing else left to think about, he slowly drifted into sleep.
The following days passed peacefully.
Without the system constantly appearing, life returned to normal.
Well…
As normal as life could be for a reincarnated baby.
Every morning he woke up.
Every day he drank milk.
Every day he slept.
Then the entire process repeated itself.
It sounded boring.
And honestly?
It was.
Very boring.
Fortunately, there were still interesting things to observe.
One morning, while Surekha was carrying him around the hospital room, Ram happened to notice a mirror hanging on the wall.
More specifically, he noticed his reflection.
For several seconds, he stared silently.
Then his eyes widened.
His appearance had changed noticeably.
His skin looked smooth and healthy.
His facial features appeared delicate and well-defined.
Even as a newborn baby, there was an unusual attractiveness to his appearance that was difficult to explain.
Most importantly…
His eyes.
Bright blue eyes stared back at him from the mirror.
Clear.
Crystal-like.
Almost unreal.
Ram froze.
The original Ram Charan definitely didn’t possess naturally blue eyes.
Neither had Ravi in his previous life.
For a brief moment, he remembered the system reward.
Incubus Physique.
A strange feeling immediately appeared in his heart.
“Don’t tell me…”
“This is because of that?”
The possibility seemed extremely likely.
His previous life had ordinary dark eyes.
The original Ram Charan also had dark eyes.
Yet now he possessed striking blue eyes that looked almost unnatural.
The evidence was difficult to ignore.
His lips twitched.
“At least the reward is actually doing something.”
Though he still thought it was a very strange gift.
Soon afterward, he noticed something else.
His sister’s behavior had become increasingly unusual.
Every single day, Sushmita appeared beside him.
Every.
Single.
Day.
Sometimes she simply sat there staring at him.
Other times she smiled for no apparent reason.
Occasionally she launched into endless conversations about dolls, cartoons, random stories, and things that made absolutely no sense whatsoever.
Ram listened patiently.
Or at least pretended to.
The problem was that her conversations never seemed to end.
“Soon I’ll teach you drawing.”
“Then we’ll play games together.”
“You have to listen to me because I’m your big sister.”
“And don’t cry all the time.”
Ram desperately wanted to explain that babies naturally cried.
Unfortunately, all that came out of his mouth were random baby noises.
Which only encouraged her even more.
One afternoon, she spent nearly twenty minutes explaining why clouds looked like elephants.
Ram seriously began questioning his life choices.
Of course, despite all his complaints, he didn’t dislike her.
In fact, he found the attention strangely comforting.
Though he would never admit that.
Meanwhile, Surekha continued taking excellent care of him.
She always made sure he was fed properly, checked on him regularly, and rarely left him unattended for long.
Every action reflected genuine affection.
The more Ram observed her, the more respect he developed.
Being a parent wasn’t easy.
Especially with two children.
Yet she somehow handled everything with patience, warmth, and endless care.
Days continued passing peacefully.
The doctors were satisfied with both mother and child.
Their health improved steadily, and discussions about discharge gradually became more frequent.
Everything seemed calm.
Everything seemed ordinary.
Until one particular morning.
A familiar voice suddenly echoed from outside the room.
“Nana is here!”
The moment he heard that voice, Ram immediately turned toward the door.
A small smile appeared on his face.
Because he already knew exactly who had arrived.
The familiar voice reached the room before the man himself appeared.
A moment later, the hospital door opened, and a tall figure stepped inside.
Ram immediately turned his head toward the entrance.
Standing there was Chiranjeevi.
A small smile unconsciously appeared on Ram’s face.
Although only a short time had passed since his rebirth, he had already grown accustomed to seeing his father.
The man’s presence always seemed to bring a different kind of energy into the room.
However, one glance was enough to tell that Chiranjeevi was exhausted.
There were faint dark circles beneath his eyes, and traces of fatigue lingered on his face.
His schedule over the past few days had clearly been demanding.
Even so, the moment his gaze landed on his family, the exhaustion seemed to lessen considerably.
His eyes softened.
A genuine smile appeared on his face.
“Nana!”
Sushmita reacted first.
The little girl practically sprinted across the room.
Chiranjeevi laughed warmly and immediately bent down, lifting her into his arms with practiced ease.
“My princess missed me?”
“A lot!”
Sushmita replied without hesitation.
“A lot, a lot, a lot!”
The enthusiasm in her voice made everyone smile.
Chuckling, Chiranjeevi reached into his pocket and pulled out a chocolate.
The moment Sushmita saw it, her eyes lit up.
“Nana is the best!”
She accepted the chocolate as though it were the greatest treasure in the world before happily running off to enjoy her reward.
Only then did Chiranjeevi turn his attention toward his son.
A gentle smile appeared on his face.
Compared to Sushmita’s energetic welcome, Ram simply stared back curiously.
Without hesitation, Chiranjeevi carefully picked him up.
His movements were gentle and surprisingly natural.
The moment Ram settled comfortably in his father’s arms, he felt the familiar warmth again.
Then something unexpected happened.
Chiranjeevi leaned forward and kissed him directly on the forehead.
A loud one.
Right in the middle.
Ram froze.
For several seconds, he remained completely motionless.
Then, very slowly, his tiny hand rose.
And wiped the spot.
The room became silent.
Surekha blinked.
Sushmita blinked.
Even Chiranjeevi looked stunned.
Then laughter erupted throughout the room.
“Hahaha!”
Surekha couldn’t hold back her amusement.
Even a nearby nurse covered her mouth while trying not to laugh.
Chiranjeevi looked genuinely offended.
“Did my son just reject me?”
The laughter only grew louder.
Meanwhile, Ram internally rolled his eyes.
He hadn’t rejected him.
The sudden kiss had simply caught him off guard.
Unfortunately, nobody knew that.
To everyone else, it looked like a newborn baby had expressed dissatisfaction.
Which somehow made the situation far funnier.
After teasing his son for a while, Chiranjeevi walked over to Surekha.
His expression softened noticeably.
Leaning forward, he gently kissed her forehead.
“Thank you,” he said sincerely.
“For everything.”
Surekha smiled softly.
A faint blush appeared on her face.
Although they had been married for years, the affection between them remained obvious.
Watching the interaction, Ram couldn’t help feeling slightly impressed.
Compared to many celebrity families he had heard about in his previous life, this family felt surprisingly genuine.
Warm.
Comfortable.
Normal.
After everyone settled down, Chiranjeevi began discussing practical matters.
“The doctors have already given positive reports.”
He looked toward Surekha.
“There’s no reason for us to stay here much longer.”
Surekha nodded.
She had expected this conversation.
Both she and Ram were healthy now.
The hospital had served its purpose.
Chiranjeevi continued,
“I’ve arranged a temporary house for us.”
“We can stay there comfortably for now.”
“Once things settle down, we’ll decide the next steps.”
The decision was quickly finalized.
Over the next few hours, preparations began.
Hospital documents were completed.
Medical reports were collected.
Personal belongings were packed.
Nurses came and went while offering final instructions and advice.
Before long, everything was ready.
For the first time since his rebirth, Ram was finally leaving the hospital.
Outside, a spacious vehicle was already waiting.
The weather was pleasant.
The sky above Chennai was clear, and warm sunlight reflected from nearby buildings.
After everyone settled inside, the car slowly pulled away from the hospital entrance.
Ram sat comfortably in his father’s arms.
His attention immediately shifted toward the outside world.
For days, his entire existence had been limited to a hospital room.
Now an entire city stretched before him.
Everything felt fascinating.
Buildings.
Roads.
Vehicles.
People.
Even ordinary things seemed interesting.
The streets were filled with life.
Buses moved through traffic.
Street vendors sold snacks beside busy roads.
Small shops lined entire stretches of the city.
People hurried about their daily routines.
The city felt vibrant.
Alive.
Very different from the Bangalore he remembered from his previous life.
As the car continued forward, several temple structures appeared in the distance.
Their colorful towers immediately caught his attention.
Even from afar, the detailed carvings and traditional architecture looked magnificent.
Ram quietly observed everything.
This was his new world.
His new life.
And for the first time since his rebirth, everything felt truly real.
Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi and Surekha chatted casually.
Sometimes they discussed family matters.
Sometimes they discussed work schedules.
Occasionally they talked about plans for the coming weeks.
Eventually, one particular sentence caught Ram’s attention.
“The others are already waiting at home.”
Chiranjeevi smiled.
“They’ve been asking about the baby every single day.”
Surekha laughed softly.
“I’m not surprised.”
Ram immediately became interested.
Others?
Family members?
Then realization struck.
Of course.
The Konidela family wasn’t small.
His father’s siblings would definitely be present.
A moment later, Chiranjeevi continued.
“Nagendra Anna came by yesterday.”
“He wanted to visit again today.”
Ram immediately recognized the name.
Nagendra Babu.
His uncle.
The future producer and actor.
Then another name appeared.
One that instantly captured all of Ram’s attention.
“And Kalyan…”
Chiranjeevi shook his head with amusement.
“He’s probably more excited than Sushmita.”
The moment Ram heard that, his eyes widened.
Kalyan.
Pawan Kalyan.
The future Power Star.
One of the biggest names Telugu cinema would ever produce.
And now…
His uncle.
Suddenly, Ram became very interested.
In his previous life, he had watched countless interviews, speeches, and films featuring the man.
Now he was actually going to meet him in person.
Life truly worked in mysterious ways.
The car continued moving through the city while Ram’s anticipation steadily increased.
A new home awaited him.
A larger family awaited him.
And most importantly…
His first meeting with the future Power Star awaited him.
As these thoughts filled his mind, the vehicle gradually approached its destination.
Completely unaware that the next few hours would introduce several people who would play important roles throughout his new life.
And somewhere inside the car, a certain reincarnated baby was already preparing himself mentally.
After all…
Not everyone could casually call Pawan Kalyan “uncle.”
But now he could.
And for some reason, that thought alone was strangely exciting.
To be continued….
