"You really said some nice words there, Yuuki. I'm impressed." Laki quietly approached Yuuki and nudged him with her shoulder.
Yuuki turned to her direction and smirked at her teasingly. "Did that impress you?"
"H-Hmph! You'll have to try much harder if you want to impress me." Laki folded her arms and turned her face away with a pout, though her cheeks were slightly flushed. Despite her words, she was secretly delighted that Yuuki was flirting with her.
"I see. Then I guess I'll have to try harder." Yuuki nodded, accepting Laki's challenge.
On the other table not far from them, Max and Warren have a wry expression on their faces as they watched the two of them surrounded by a pink aura.
Warren pointed toward the two of them and glanced at Max. "I say, there's definitely something going on between those two."
"A-Ahahaha, it's the first time I've seen Laki act cute around a man." Max laughed dryly, though he couldn't help but think that Yuuki was a master at wooing girls.
It was obvious just by looking at Laki, but even Kinana had started showing a flirtatious look whenever she interacted with Yuuki which made Max and Warren amazed.
Yuuki had only just joined their guild, yet he had already managed to capture the hearts of two of their female members. Seeing this, Max couldn't help but admire Yuuki's talent for winning over girls.
"You're not even trying to deny it." Warren's lips twitched at Max's response.
Just as everyone was chatting and having fun, the entire guild building suddenly trembled, startling everyone.
"What was that?" Droy asked while munching on a drumstick.
"W-What's happening? Are we being attacked again?!"
Yuuki, on the other hand, simply smiled, already knowing what was going on.
Seeing his suspicious smile, Laki looked confused and asked, "Why are you smiling, Yuuki? Don't tell me you're thinking of something dirty?"
"In your eyes, do I only have dirty thoughts whenever I smile?" Yuuki was speechless at Laki's words.
"Aren't you?" Seeing Yuuki's helpless expression, Laki found it funny to tease Yuuki from time to time.
Yuuki didn't bother arguing, knowing she was simply getting back at him. Instead, he shook his head and answered, "What I'm thinking about is the good news that's about to arrive."
Hearing this only made Laki even more confused, but Yuuki didn't explain any further. Instead, he followed the Macao and the rest as they headed outside the guild.
The moment they stepped out, they saw a massive battleship floating high in the sky.
"What's that?!" Warren exclaimed in shock.
"That's… Blue Pegasus... Christina Advance." Max said subconsciously.
Like everyone else, Yuuki looked up at the enormous battleship. He couldn't help but imagine the day he would have a flying fortress of his own.
From the battleship, a silhouette could be seen standing atop the Pegasus figurehead. A moment later, a deep voice rang out from above.
"Sniff, sniff."
"Sniff, sniff, sniff, sniff, sniff."
"T-That's..."
"N-No way!"
Max, Warren, and the other Fairy Tail members had dark lines across their faces. Of all the people they expected to see, they never imagined that guy would be the one to show up.
"Unpleasant."
The voice from above echoed once more.
"This insipid parfum is unpleasant indeed."
Laki was shocked and thought it was a troll, which made Yuuki laugh. "Well, not exactly but..."
"What is he doing here?" Macao was also surprised to see that person appear.
The next moment, the mysterious figure leaped from the battleship with arms spread wide as he descended.
"He jumped!" Max couldn't believe that the person had actually leaped from such a height.
"Glimmer!"
A sparkling sound echoed through the air as the mysterious figure continued to fall. As he drew closer to the ground, everyone expected him to make a graceful landing.
Yet, the exact opposite happened.
Face-first, the mysterious person crashed into the ground.
"MEEENNNNNN!"
Everyone was left speechless by the person's disastrous landing. Even Yuuki couldn't contain his laughter. "Pfft! This guy… Hahaha!"
Max, Warren, and the others' lips twitched as they stared at the person who had just crashed into the ground. They then turned toward Yuuki, who was laughing beside them, completely speechless. "Yuuki, you're really something else."
"Sorry, haha. I was caught off guard." Yuuki wiped away the tears that had formed from laughing and replied to his guildmates. Laki and Kinana were also chuckling beside him as their lovely laughter filling the air.
Hearing Yuuki's response, Max and the others weren't surprised. "I can't blame you. After all, we've also experienced Ichiya-san's unpredictability before."
"My apologies for the wait."
As if nothing had happened, the man named Ichiya struck a cool pose and spoke with twinkling expression.
"I, Ichiya… am here for you."
"Dis-Disgusting!" Laki's forehead creased with dark lines as she stared at Ichiya's twinkling look. As for Kinana, she immediately hid behind Yuuki, letting out an awkward laugh.
This man was none other than Ichiya Wanderlei Kotobuki, a mage from the Blue Pegasus guild.
Ichiya was a short, stout man with a distinctively large, somewhat rectangular face, a large flat nose that always seemed to be shining, prominent cheekbones, and orange hair.
Though, despite his appearance and eccentric personality, he was actually the strongest mage in Blue Pegasus.
Macao looked at Ichiya with a speechless expression. "A-Are you okay?"
Before Ichiya could respond, three more people floated down from the sky and gently landed on the ground.
"We meet again everyone."
"Hi~"
"You don't need to be so excited, Ichiya-san. I can use Air Magic, you know."
The three were Eve, Hibiki, and Ren, all members of Blue Pegasus. Each of them had a handsome appearance, which immediately made Droy envious. "Blue Pegasus… so cool!"
Meanwhile, Jet was still trying to figure out why they had come to their guild in the first place. "What the heck is going on, anyway?"
But the three of them completely ignored the men and walked toward Laki and Kinana. However, upon seeing a handsome young man standing between the two women, they hesitated. Although Yuuki wore a friendly smile, his eyes was not smiling at all.
So Hibiki played it safe and stepped forward and politely introduced himself. "Hello, I'm Hibiki Lates, a member of Blue Pegasus. May I know your name?"
Of course, Yuuki wasn't the type to be rude, as long as they didn't tease the female members of Fairy Tail around him. He wasn't about to ignore someone who had politely introduced himself.
"I'm Y—"
He was about to respond.
But before Yuuki could introduce himself, Ichiya suddenly appeared beside him and took a sniff.
"Sniff, sniff. Hmm… you have a unique yet intriguing parfum."
"Eeeek!" Laki nearly jumped into Yuuki's arms when she saw Ichiya suddenly appear behind them like a ghost.
"A-ahaha, calm down, Laki." Kinana tried to reassure her, though even she felt a little creeped out by Ichiya's sudden appearance.
"Say, can I kick him?" Although Yuuki found Ichiya amusing from a distance, having Ichiya personally sniffing him sent a shiver down his spine. The corner of his lips twitched as he struggled to maintain his composure.
"Please don't!" Macao and Wakaba immediately exclaimed.
"Please excuse my rudeness." Ichiya finally backed away and apologized like a gentleman while striking a cool pose, though Yuuki still felt drained out by the whole thing just now.
"It's the first time I saw him. Is he a new member?" Ichiya asked, turning toward Macao.
"Yeah. His name is Tenma Yuuki, and he recently joined us." Macao nodded proudly as he introduced Yuuki.
"Oh? Congratulations. Your guild is finally showing signs of coming back. Men!" Ichiya said sincerely, striking another one of his bizarre poses.
Yuuki had to admit that, despite being a little creepy, Ichiya was actually a good guy. Still, if that man ever sneaked up behind him again, Yuuki swore he would punch him until kingdom come.
"By the way, may I ask what's the relationship between you, Laki-san and Kinana-san?"
Eve, a mage with young boy appearance, stepped forward beside Hibiki with a gentle smile but his curious gaze shifting between Yuuki, Laki, and Kinana curiously.
Yuuki thought of something before he suddenly put his arms over Laki and Kinana's shoulders, causing both girls' faces to blush. However, neither of them pushed him away.
Yuuki then looked at Eve and Hibiki with a harmless smile. "What do you think?"
Everyone at the scene was left speechless. Still, they had to admit that they admired Yuuki's ability to charm girls. He had only just joined the guild, yet he had already managed to win both Laki and Kinana's hearts.
They couldn't help but feel incredibly envious.
"A-Ahahaha, I see. Sorry to bother the three of you."
Eve felt awkward at Yuuki's reply, but he had to admit that he admired Yuuki's talent. His ability to charm women was practically on par with the members of Blue Pegasus.
"I-I see… Laki-san and Kinana-san are already taken." Hibiki also backed off, looking dejected after being defeated by another handsome man.
Meanwhile, Ren crossed his arms and turned his head away. "I-It's not like I'm disappointed that Laki-san and Kinana-san's hearts are already taken."
'This tsundere guy…' Yuuki felt a few dark lines form across his forehead as he looked at the three handsome mages from Blue Pegasus.
Ichiya, on the other hand, had sparkling eyes as he exclaimed,
"Men! So this is the ability of a unique parfum. How magnificent!" He then turned toward the dejected Eve, Hibiki, and Ren.
"Eve, Hibiki, Ren! Did you see Yuuki-kun's ability? You should make him your rival if you wish to understand the true essence of parfum!" Ichiya said.
As if their spirits had been reignited with Ichiya's words, the three Blue Pegasus mages immediately cheered up.
"Yes, Ichiya-san!" ×3
"Hmm, good." Ichiya nodded in satisfaction, pleased to see their burning passion.
Just then, Macao finally asked the question everyone had been wondering. "By the way, what you guys doing here?"
"We may compete with one another, but we never forget the parfum of friendship." Ichiya turned toward Macao and replied.
Hibiki then explained the real reason behind their visit. "Using my Archive's data analysis and Christina's mobility to survey the Ethernano levels throughout Fiore proved fruitful."
Hearing that, everyone was confused at first. However, Ichiya continued, and his next words left every Fairy Tail member utterly shocked.
"Tenrou Jima… still exists. Men."
