Wen Yu returned to her room and immediately took a bath in her space.

Although she had been careful, she still had zombie blood on her, which stank horribly.

The villa’s water supply ran out faster than expected, so she could only boil water in her space and pour it into the bathtub.Full novel: Starting with a Billion Supplies, the Villainous Female Supporting Character Wins the Apocalypse Easily — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

While washing, she couldn’t help but think that if her space had running water and electricity, she could install a water heater and a shower.

Boiling water to bathe was a real hassle, and washing her hair was especially inconvenient.

Lost in thought, she glanced at the group chat and noticed a message.

Her attention instantly perked up—it was from a friend from the stars.

Interstellar Boss Wang: @Apocalyptic Wen Yu, could you make a few spicy dishes? The spicier, the better. Eating just nutrient paste all day here is making my taste buds numb.

Wen Yu (enthusiastically): @Interstellar Boss Wang, of course! What will you trade in return?

Interstellar Boss Wang: In the apocalypse, social order is chaotic. You should be able to spare an ion gun, right?

Yes! Of course!

Wen Yu’s eyes sparkled like a starving wolf in the dark who had finally found prey after ten days.

Even the cold, hard numbers on the screen made Mao Qiu’s hair stand on end!

Wen Yu, however, felt nothing and simply replied to Boss Wang, then went into her space to consult Pei Ye about the menu.

There were plenty of spicy ingredients in her supplies, but they were mostly semi-prepared and wouldn’t taste very good.

To give Boss Wang the utmost courtesy, she decided to exchange Pei Ye’s freshly cooked dishes.

“Pei Ye, I discovered a new function in the space.”

When Wen Yu left the room, Pei Ye was sitting on the sofa with Song Yu and the others, discussing something.

Hearing her voice, Pei Ye instinctively asked, “What new function?”

“The space can preserve food.”

“So, whatever you put in, comes out the same?” Pei Ye asked. “You mean you want to store already-cooked dishes or boiled water in it?”

He couldn’t think of any other use.

Wen Yu was impressed. Dealing with smart people was easy. She nodded: “That way, when we go out, we’ll have hot meals and hot water ready. We can also cook more at once, so we don’t have to cook every day.”

“Fine. Whatever you want to eat, I’ll make it.”

Wen Yu thought Pei Ye had real potential as a chef and immediately began listing the menu.

“Spicy boiled fish, spicy boiled meat, mala crayfish, Sichuan pepper mouthwatering chicken.”

“Spicy crab, stir-fried squid, chopped chili fish head, Mao Xue Wang.”

After finishing the meat dishes, she moved on to vegetables.

“Dry-pot cauliflower, mapo tofu, hot and sour shredded potatoes, vinegar-braised cabbage.”

Song Yu was dumbfounded. Seeing Wen Yu was still planning to add soups, he completely lost it.

“Are you a reincarnated pig spirit or what? How can you eat so much!”

Being interrupted and called a pig spirit, Wen Yu shot him a cold glare: “Then in the future, don’t eat anything in my space.”

Song Yu was stunned. He could skip meals, but he definitely needed water.

As Pei Ye said, all the water they found in the supermarket was in Wen Yu’s space.

Even in the apocalypse, Wen Yu could be so domineering—ordering a dozen dishes at once from the boss. He felt it was unfair and argued: “Those are everyone’s supplies! Why shouldn’t we eat them just because you say so?”

“Because this is my space. You live in my house. The boss you follow is still my fiancé (bodyguard). Even if I threw you out to feed the zombies, no one could say a word.”

She glanced at Pei Ye, amplifying her authority: “Or are you planning to defend him, Pei Ye?”

Pei Ye waved his hands, even stepped back, showing clearly with actions:

If you mess with him, you can’t mess with me.

Wen Yu smirked, acknowledging his subtle support, then turned haughtily to Song Yu.

From this first confrontation, she realized that patience could be her tool. Better to establish her arrogant, overbearing persona now and make everyone yield to her from the start.

Song Yu was furious, pointing at himself and Pei Ye, his frustration boiling over.

Pei Ye, pretending not to see, ignored him.

Wen Yu noticed and snorted: “Let me tell you something else. My space can store people. Whenever I squat in it, I can catch you at the moment you can’t stay awake any longer… then, heh heh…”

She didn’t elaborate, but Song Yu broke out in a cold sweat.

At that moment, Wen Yu could kill without anyone noticing…

He couldn’t help looking at her, and she curled her lips into a mischievous smile, as if to say:

“See you at the bedside tonight.”

Song Yu shivered.

After Wen Yu had scolded and intimidated enough, Pei Ye finally spoke:

“Song Yu, apologize.”

Song Yu’s eyes widened in disbelief.

She wasn’t scolding him, yet he was being asked to apologize?

Cen Mo nudged Song Yu with his elbow, gesturing toward the bottled water on the coffee table.

Thinking about relying on Wen Yu for food and water, and seeing that the boss supported her, Song Yu could only swallow his pride and apologize.

Wen Yu wasn’t satisfied: “Apologize for what?”

Song Yu gritted his teeth: “I shouldn’t have opposed you.”

Wen Yu shook her head: “You still don’t understand your mistake. I didn’t provoke you, so there was no opposition. I provided you shelter and food, yet you called me a pig spirit. Ungrateful and uncouth—men’s reputations are ruined because of people like you.”

Song Yu felt his back nearly break under the weight of guilt.

There were so many men in the world, and he couldn’t possibly bear this one!

After a moment of struggle, he reluctantly apologized again: “I’m sorry. It was my careless words. The young lady is not a pig spirit; I am. Please forgive me this time.”

“Since Pei Ye is here, I’ll let it slide, but I won’t forgive you.” Wen Yu said, striding toward the kitchen arrogantly.

Pei Ye followed, intending to discuss the menu with her.

Spicy dishes were tasty, but a balanced diet was still important.

Outside, Song Yu heard Pei Ye humbly pleading with Wen Yu to add some mild dishes and nearly exploded.

“Listen to him! Listen! The boss is bewitched by that woman. Forget authority—he doesn’t even have his dignity as a man now!”

Song Yu still couldn’t accept it. He admitted he was wrong to speak rashly, but why should the boss serve that woman?

Cen Mo gave Song Yu a sharp glance.

“Then don’t eat later.”

Song Yu nearly fainted.

The boss being bewitched was bad enough, but Cen Mo was also backing that woman.

He kicked out, but Cen Mo dodged and stepped toward Gu Feng’s room.

Song Yu chased after him, seeing Gu Feng lying on the bed, full of grievance.

“Gu Feng, you’re all I have left. Wake up and help me deal with these traitors!”

Before he could say more, a voice called from the kitchen:

Pei Ye: “Song Yu, Cen Mo, come to the kitchen and prep the ingredients.”

Cen Mo acknowledged and headed out.

Song Yu didn’t want to go; seeing the two traitors made him furious.

But he underestimated Pei Ye—he personally came to drag him to help.

After a while, the whole villa smelled of delicious food, and Gu Feng finally woke up.

Most of his injuries had healed.

Hearing movement in the kitchen, he left the room and headed there.

Just as he approached, he heard Song Yu complaining:

“She really thinks she’s a young lady! She wants to eat, yet she’s making us run around doing all the work!”

“Are we her servants?”

“If you want to be her servant, fine—don’t drag me into it! I won’t serve her even if I die!”

Even though Gu Feng had been unconscious, he knew who Song Yu was referring to.

The world had changed.

Yet this boy still hadn’t realized—

Who was truly sitting firmly at the top of the food chain in this villa…
