Lu Xing did not wait for Jian Song to reply. After placing the medicine at the foot of the bed, he walked out. Jian Song looked at the medicine, his anger rising. Without even looking at it, he kicked it away.

The bottle was glass. While it did not shatter, it still made a loud noise when it hit the floor. Lu Xing heard it from the doorway, paused for a moment, and then shook his head helplessly. Songsong is still so stubborn. Forget it. After he falls into a deep sleep tonight, I will apply the medicine for him myself. After all, in this family, only I truly love him.

Jian Song watched the glass bottle on the floor, his breathing rapid and his chest heaving, his pheromones becoming unstable. After sitting on the bed for a few minutes, he stood up and began packing his belongings. Since they wanted him gone so badly, he would leave. He was not someone who lacked self-respect, nor would he cling desperately to a house that was never his home.Full novel: Straight Man A Was Labeled As Fake A. — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Jian Song was an adult; he could stay in a hotel. With a few hundred yuan in his bank card, it was enough for one night. Tomorrow, when he reached school, he would apply to the teacher for a dormitory room. Jian Song did not have much luggage, and he did not intend to bring much. He packed his school uniform, books, and a mobile phone. The computer was something Lu Xing had used, so he would return that. He took nothing else. When he came to this family, he had brought only a few sets of clothes, and now, he was leaving with just as little.

After packing his school bag, Jian Song took a deep breath. He did not open the door immediately. He knew Lu Jian’an was not asleep yet. He looked at the window, wondering if he should jump. But he was on the third floor; jumping would mean breaking at least three bones. Not worth it. Forget it. Let them know what was happening. He would walk out just like this, letting Lu Jian’an and Ming An watch his departure. Jian Song wanted to tell them clearly that he was the one leaving this pathetic house, not that he was being driven out.

Jian Song slung his bag on his back and opened the door. The medicine bottle was by his feet; he glanced down and kicked it away indifferently.

Lu Jian’an and Ming An were in the living room watching television. Ming An was snuggled in Lu Jian’an’s arms, a scene of marital bliss. It made Jian Song sick. He did not speak first, knowing Lu Jian’an would. Sure enough, as Jian Song reached the entryway, Lu Jian’an spoke: “Where are you going?”

Jian Song paused while putting on his shoes, then continued: “I heard what you said. I am leaving now.”

Ming An immediately poked his head out of Lu Jian’an’s embrace: “Songsong…”

Jian Song froze at Ming An’s voice, turned around, and said: “Dad, you will not have to be sad anymore.”

Jian Song pursed his lips and lowered his eyes, refusing to look at Ming An’s expression. He knew the look on Ming An’s face would not be one of reluctance. On the contrary, he might be very happy. The burden was finally gone; the obstacle to his happiness had finally left. Jian Song scoffed internally. Perhaps that was exactly what Ming An was thinking.

Ming An wanted to speak, but Lu Jian’an pinched his chin. He did not use much force, but Ming An stopped speaking and lay docilely back in Lu Jian’an’s arms.

“Then have a safe journey, Songsong.”

Hearing the last words Ming An left for him, Jian Song smiled: “Good, Dad.”

As Jian Song was about to open the door, Lu Xing suddenly grabbed his arm from behind. Jian Song turned around in confusion, seeing Lu Xing panting. He had run downstairs immediately after hearing them from the second floor.

Lu Xing swallowed: “Songsong, it is so late. Where are you going?”

Jian Song pulled his arm away: “Where I go has nothing to do with you.”

Lu Xing’s fingers twitched: “Songsong, it is late, and it is not safe outside. Can we talk about this tomorrow?”

Jian Song looked at Lu Xing in silence. After a few seconds, he suddenly laughed: “Lu Xing, do you like me and want to possess me?”

Lu Xing’s smile stiffened: “Songsong, what are you saying? Brother does not understand.”

Jian Song mocked him: “You rely on your father’s money, eat his food, and wear his clothes. With nothing of your own, how can you compete with him? You still want to possess me? Look at you now. You do not even dare to say you like me. Lu Xing, I will marry, I will have children, and I will grow old with someone else. Even if that person is not an Omega, it will never be a coward like you, a parasite living off your parents.”

After saying this, Jian Song felt much better. He gave Lu Xing a bright smile: “Thank you so much. After scolding you, I feel much better. Brother, we will never meet again.”

Jian Song opened the door. The night wind blew in, tousling his hair. Under the moonlight, Jian Song walked away with effortless grace, leaving a stunned Lu Xing behind.

From the house behind him came Lu Jian’an’s enraged voice: “Damn whore! Father is so good at seducing people, and the son he bore is just as skilled. He even dared to seduce my son. What a cheap, needy slut!”

Jian Song smiled indifferently. The night wind scattered those words into the air, and not a single one reached his ears.

Lu Xing stood dumbfounded at the entryway, thinking of the last smile Jian Song gave him. It was the smile he had always wanted to see, but not under these circumstances. And that word, Brother, it was something he had longed for since he was a child. Why did he only get to hear it briefly when he was losing him?

Lu Xing heard Lu Jian’an cursing Jian Song and turned to stop him: “Dad, stop it. He is already far away.”

Lu Jian’an stopped cursing, but still asked anxiously: “Xiao Xing, you did not actually fall in love with him, did you, like that bitch said?”

Lu Xing looked at Lu Jian’an and forced a stiff smile: “Dad, how could that be? You are overthinking it. I am a normal Alpha; I only like Omegas.”

Upon hearing this, Lu Jian’an felt relieved: “Good, that is my good son.”

Lu Xing laughed stiffly and went upstairs like a zombie.

Jian Song left the house with his school bag, wandering aimlessly nearby. Fortunately, the bag was light, so he could walk around to clear his head. The villa district at night was a bit scary with its colorful lights and dense vegetation. The shadows on the walls and ground made Jian Song nervous.

Jian Song took out his phone and navigated to the nearest hotel, only to find in surprise that all the hotels nearby were fully booked, as it was peak tourist season.

Jian Song sighed. Well, that is just perfect. If he had known he would be running away from home, he should have booked a hotel beforehand, so he would not be in such a passive position. But since things were already like this, Jian Song had no choice but to find a bench to sit on. He was considering whether to call Jiang Qi and stay at his place for the night.

Just as he was about to make the call, a voice suddenly sounded, startling Jian Song. He turned abruptly and found it was someone he knew.

What a stroke of luck! Things are working out!

Jian Song used several poetic lines in his heart to express his surprise.
