“You better choose how you want to die.”

Looking down at the man before him like he was a piece of trash.

For ten seconds the man was still quiet, a crooked smile appeared on his face.

“Austin.

Since you’re not sure of what kind of death you want I’ll give good options.”

“Take ten bullets in presence of your family.”

Austin eyes widened at Alistair’s suggestion.

What kind of demon is he, when he joined the organization he made sure to hide everything and everyone connected to him, mostly his younger sister.

Taking bullets in front of his sister would lead to her death.

He truly had underestimated his boss.

How was Alistair able to know about his family?

Aliter arched a brow.

“Shocked?

You must have really thought I let just anyone into the organization.

Austin the under world is more complicated than you think.”

Alistair stretch his hand to his side, kane handed him a file.

“You thought you had them very well, you changed your identity.

Hah!

That was very stupid of you.”

Alistair opened the file.

“I already knew everything Austin, I just gave you the time you needed…”

He threw the file to Austin.

“Now I’ll give you the death you deserve.”

Darkness flickered I n his eyes.

Everyone now could feel the temperature of the room drop.

“Since you stool from me, killed three of my men, I’ve decided to reply the favour.

Kane walked to kneeling Austin and handed him the tablet he was holding.

Austin watched a burning house in the screen, slowly the screen shifted to a young girl who was crying bitterly as she watched the burning house.

It zoomed closer now fully showing the girls face.

It was his sister.

He immediately understood.

“No!

No!

You son of bitch!”

He cried out not able to control his tears.

“That money was laundered!

Why the hell did you have to do this!”

Alistair picked up the baseball bat, with Great force it landed right on Austin head.

“You killed three of my men, burning down your house with five of your family members in it is just me being generous.”

Because of how well they were trained the hit did not take down Austin immediately, but he bleed from his head.

“You think I don’t know about you also working as a spy?

And you constantly use my name as a cover to take people’s property?”

Alistair threw the bat on the floor.

“You did all of that for your family right?

Especially for that godforsaken sister of yours.”

A bowl of water was brought for him, he deeped his hand inside.

“You sick for fear and recognition.

I’ve decided to give you just exactly what you want.

Public death.”

He tilted his head.

“What do you think?”

The next second the heard the loud sound of falling rods.

The lady immediately covered her mouth.the revelation of her boss the CEO of the largest companies in Pink country was also a Mafia boss , got her trembling all over.she was about to leave but accidentally hit something, it fell and made loud noise.

She was absolutely doomed.

Without waisting time, Kane caught her.

“Limer… what are you doing here?

Limer to is a secretary who works for Alistair.

Before she could answer a voice spoke behind Kane.

“You’re curiousity has landed you into your own grave.”

________

“Shona?”

While she was still fiddling with her phone she heard a familiar voice call her name.

Shona looked up and saw Kiara.

She forced a smile, not because she wasn’t happy to see Kiara, but because she wasn’t in the mood to smile.

She had to smile so that Kiara wouldn’t think she was being rude.

Kiara, oblivious of what was going on, sat next to Shona.

“The weather is nice today.”

She said as the cool breeze touched her face.

Although the sun was out it was still warm.

Shona could not deny that indeed the weather was nice.

“Ah, have you seen Zora?”

Kiara tilted her head.

“I’ve been trying to get in touch with her ever since the banquet.”

Shona frowned slightly.

“Why do you want to see her?”

A grin appeared on Kiara’s face.

“It’s nothing that exciting, just that I’ve gained recognition in my mother’s company…”

She looked up at the sky.

“All thanks to Zora, so I’d like to share the good news.”

Shona cocked her head to look at Kiara.

“Whoa!

That’s good news girl…”

“How come you never told me?”

Kiara angled her head slightly to look at Shona.

“I… I did tell you yesterday.”

Shona crossed her arms.

“When?”

“It… I think…”

Shona looked away to the other side, her arms still crossed and her mouth pouted.

“Hmph, you liar, you never told me.”

Kiara smiled.

I only got the mail last night so I thought I had told you.”

When Shona heard her explain she sighed.

“I haven’t seen Zora.

I’ve been trying to reach out to her too.”

Kiara’s eyes narrowed.

“Hope everything is alright with her?”

“Not really, her auntie is hospitalized.”

“Oh no.

She must be going through a lot.”

When Kiara said that, Shona remembered the night she had gone to see her doctor.

She was about to leave the hospital she had seen someone crawling on the floor.

When she looked closer she realized it was Zora.

Then an idea came to her mind.

Maybe she should go to that hospital to check.

She grabbed Kiara’s hand.

“I think I know where she is.”

Still in the small room, Alistair watched as Limer cried in fear.

He had warned everyone that the door that was next to his office was off limits, but he always seemed to see Limer hovering around there like a fly.

The last time he saw her tried to open the door , he gave her a stern warning.

However it she had a bad habit of satisfying her curiosity.

“Limer, I hate disobedience.”

Limer nodded.

Her hands had already turned cold.

“You followed me down here even after I warned you last time.

So are you satisfied of what you heard and now know?”

Limer shook her head.

How could she be satisfied when I life was in the line.

Her life wasn’t even the problem, it’s her family.

What if Alistair ruin there life after killing her?

they’ve already suffered enough, her little brother just started high school, her mother was sick and she’s the only one who provides for them.

Her eyes stung even more as she surmoned the courage to look at Alistair.

“Sir please, I know my wrong, but my family are innocent.”

Alistair snorted.

“You’re indeed bold.

I won’t touch your family, but what should I do to you?”

Limer looked at him in the eyes and said.

“Anything sir.”

Meanwhile Viktor sat in his office.

The blue file was still on his desk.

Finally he made up his mind to go through it.

He opened it and his eyes landed on the name of the person involved in the transaction.

He instantly closed the file.

He opened it again.

This time his eyes went to the amount involved.

His hands flew to his mouth as if stopping a scream from escaping.

Such an amount would take him twenty years as CEO of his boutique to gather, but it was going to be his by just writing down a signature.

But even as big as the money was he could not take his mind off the name written in the transaction.
