Lukas held the twins for about a minute, as tears slides down his cheeks as a warm smile spread across his face.
Valeric and Eve looked at themselves with surprise, as they saw Lukas tears, even the crimson scaled dragon had a look of surprise at the scene.
Even Bella too was taken aback by Lukas sudden tears.
The twins looked at their elder brother with confused looks in their eyes as he teared up.
"Brother Lukas why are you crying?" The girl asked as she placed a hand on Lukas cheek.
"It’s not nothing Richella" Lukas wiped his tears as he replied.
"People only cry when they get hurt, are you hurt brother Lukas?" the boy spoke up as he looked at Lukas.
"Well Rowan, when a person cries sometimes, it doesn’t mean they are hurt. Sometimes it can be of joy rather than pain" Lukas said with a smile as he placed a hand on Rowan’s head.
"So, which means everyone who cries doesn’t mean that they are actually hurt" Rowan had an innocent curious look on his face.
"Yes" Lukas smiled as he nodded.
"Brother Lukas, mommy told us you were asleep throughout yesterday, but you promised to play with us" Richella pouted as she folded her arms.
"You promised us" Rowan added looking at him.
Everyone went quiet at hearing the twins’ words, they had no idea that their brother had died.
Hearing the word play, Lukas heart tightened as Eli’s voice echoed in his head, asking him to play with her when she wakes up.
I failed to keep a promise in my past life but in this life, I will make sure I keep my promise.
Lukas looked at Rowan and Richella with a smile on his face.
"Okay how about instead, what if I tell you both a bedtime story later at night, what do you say?" Lukas said to them.
The twins’ eyes brightened up at his proposal.

Seeing the smile on Richella’s face, Eli’s smiling face appeared in Adam’s memory.
"Richella, would you mind me to become your Knight in shining armor?" Lukas asked her with a smile
Her eyes shimmered as she heard Lukas.
"Really?" She asked her eyes beaming.
"Yes" Lukas nodded and knelt down before her, "my dear princess allow this big brother to become you knight in shining armor"
On hearing Lukas call her princess, her face flushed red.
Both parents looked at each other clearly surprised about what was playing before them.
Richella ran into their mother’s arms clearly flustered by his comment.
Rowan and Lukas looked at her with a squint.
"Mommy, Lukas called me a princess" She looked at Eve with a cute expression.
"Well, if your brother calls you a princess, then he is right" Eve said to her with a smile as she gently pated her on the head.
"Okay" Richella accepted.
"In order to appoint him as your knight in shining armor, you need a proper tool to grant him the honor and position" As Eve said to her, she waved her hand and a short wooden sword meant for children materialized out of thin air and landed on her hand.
"Here take this, do it the way the queen did when granting that woman, a knight position at the palace" Eve gave her the wooden sword and Richella took it.
She looked at the wooden sword in her hand, remembering the way the queen had sworn the woman as a knight replayed in her head.
Then she turned and walked towards Lukas who was still kneeling on one knee, she stood before him while everyone just watched.
She held the sword before her.
"As Richella Lyon, today I appoint Brother Lukas" As she spoke, she tapped the wooden sword on his left shoulder, "As my knight in shining armor" Then she tapped the sword on his right shoulder sealing the appointment.
"Brother Lukas is now my knight!" Richella hugged him while smiling.
"What about me Brother Lukas" Rowan puffed his cheeks, feeling left out.
"You will be her guardian knight instead" Lukas said with chuckle as he pulled him closer.
"But I want you to be my knight too" Rowan pouted.
"We both have to be Richella’s knights" Lukas said to him
"Rowan will still be my knight too" Richella’s eyes glittered.
"Remember my promise, a bed time story later tonight" Lukas reminded them both.
"Yes, brother Lukas" Both twins echoed at the same time, then Lukas lets go of both of them as he stands up.
Richella dragged Rowan to side to appoint him just the same way she did with Lukas, Rowan had a squint on his face as she dragged him to the side.
"What kind of move did you actually pull off, this isn’t like you Lukas" Bella looked at him with a smile.
"Well, I decided to become my little sister’s knight in shining armor" Lukas replied to her with a smile.
"Then what about me" Bella looked at him with a playful look.
"I am a mage" Lukas replied with dead pan look.
"Then what does been knight in shining armor to her has do with you when your class is a mage, you could have said something like a mage in shining robes instead" Bella said to him
"That’s cringe" Lukas looked at her flatly.
"How can you become a knight in shining armor when you are a mage"
"I will just train in swordsmanship, simple" Lukas replied with a grin.
"What!" Bella stared at him with disbelief.
"Enough bickering you too" Speaking was the crimson scaled dragon, its molten golden eyes pinned on them.
It’s a talking dragon!
Lukas looked at the dragon with awe in his eyes, after all dragons were only mentioned in books and movies but seeing one with his own eyes made his heart rage with over excitement.
But he didn’t show it on the exterior, he maintained a calm composure on the outside. From the former Lukas memories, the name of this dragon before him was named Vaelthryx
Vaelthryx is a primordial infernal emperor dragon, a beast of the Divine class and his father’s contracted beast.
One shouldn’t be fooled by its current size, because he knew how huge and powerful this dragon was, contracted beasts could shrink their sizes freely to accompany their masters anywhere.
One thing about dragons is that they are a group of creatures which had been very hard to tame, in fact only someone with a dragon tamer class can successfully tame a dragon.
The species of dragon who would not bow their hands to anybody where true dragons, a specie that had their own pride, true dragons had their own domains in certain places. These dragons could rule over vast wild land or forest.
But one thing that made the Lyon house stand at the top, was the ability of Valeric to tame dragons, because of the Lyon’s unique bloodline that no one knows about.
Lukas figured out it must be because of his Divine Astral dragon man bloodline that enables this to be possible, that’s why many noble houses fear the house of Lyon, it’s because of their bloodline that they are capable of taming dragons.
Apart from that, Adam knew that from Lukas memories that his father Valeric created a technique, that enables an individual to form a contract with a dragon but it’s based on mutual agreement.
The technique is only applicable to the house of Lyon military, since they have a legion known as the Draconic Vanguard or top astounding student from Lyon academy, it’s one of House Lyon’s most guarded secret.

"It’s really a miracle to see you alive boy" Vaelthryx looked at him.
"Well death can’t take me away yet, Lord Vaelthryx" Lukas tone was respectful.

The green dragon lying beside opened its eyes, its eyes where a luminous green.
"Oh, my dear Lukas how happy I am, seeing you alive" The green dragon spoke a faint smile of joy appearing on her face.
The voice sounded female.
"You still call me miss, just call me by name already, besides we are all family" Nayasa looked at him.
"As you wish" Lukas said.
"Why does your heart feel like whom had lost so much?" Nayasa’s luminous pupils narrowed at Lukas
"When one is swallowed by death, its then one realizes what he had left behind is too precious to lose, even in death you pray to see their faces just one more time" Lukas said to her with a smile.
This boy, did coming back from the dead change his personality and way of speech?
Nayasa just looked at him. Nayasa was a primal spirit nature dragon, a kind, gentle and wise dragon, their species is also known as the spirit forest Dragon, a mythical class beast.
She is Eve’s contracted dragon and Vaelthryx’s mate.
"Boy, when did you become a scholar?" Vaelthryx said nonchalantly.
"You bastard!" Nayasa pushed Vaelthryx off the couch with an annoyed look on her face.
Vaelthryx landed on the floor with a pained growl.
"Wifey what was that for?" Vaelthryx asked her, as he rubbed his head in pain.
"Why do you overlook almost everything with such carefree behavior" She glared at him, her aura turning dangerous.
"But he sounded like a scholar" Vaelthryx replied,

As Valeric heard Vaelthryx’s words he facepalmed.
"You!" Nayasa was now pissed.
"Wifey can you calm down" Vaelthryx was already sweating buckets, as Nayasa death’s stare drilled into him.
"Nayasa leave him be, you know how men can be" Eve cuddled Nayasa, but her stare still locked on to a trembling Vaelthryx.
"Allow me tear him to shreds" Nayasa struggled but Eve did not let her go.
Vaelthryx looked at Eve with grateful eyes, she looked like an angel to him unlike his wifey who was about to pounce on him.
"You know how scary she can become when you display your nonchalant side" Valeric said to him.
"It doesn’t suit me of be on the serious mode all the time" Vaelthryx replied flatly.
"This is why I want tear you apart so badly" Nayasa growled at him.
Vaelthryx shrunk at her threat, Lukas and Bella just watched him with a look of disbelief on his face.

Lukas had to stop himself from laughing, then Vaelthryx shot him a glare, but Lukas just feigned a cough and looked away.
Meanwhile Rowan glued himself to the desk’s leg as Richella pulled him, telling him as her guardian knight that they should go and slay an evil dragon, which Rowan found absurd.
"Alright back to business" Valeric looked at Lukas and Bella as they stood before him.
"You called for us father" Bella said to him.
"Yes, I did and I have something very important to tell both of you about those books in your hands" Their father had a very serious expression on his face.
Both siblings straightened as they saw the look on their father’s face.
Valeric looked at Eve and nodded.
Eve understood and snapped her fingers, as she did, runic patterns appeared all over the office in a soft blue glow.
A sound insulation array
Lukas suddenly understood, that what ever their father was about to tell them was something not meant for outsiders to hear.
"This is what I have to tell you about that book in your hands Lukas" Valeric began to speak and Lukas listened with all ears.
