Adam now Lukas had a wide grin on his face, as he felt the thrill of not been limited by the human limit of his past self.

Valeric rubbed his eyes, to make he wasn’t seeing an illusion but even as he did, everything was real.
"Did Lukas just punch a holo hound just now?" Valeric thought he was seeing things
"He...he really...did" Bellas replied with disbelief written all over her face.
"Lukas class is Mage, right?" Valeric asked
"Yes" Bella nodded.
"Then he just punched a holo in close combat, right?" He asked again.
"Yes, he did" Bella replied.
"HOW IS IT THEN POSSIBLE FOR A MAGE TO FIGHT WITH BARE HANDS!" Valeric shouted with shock.
Meanwhile Eve and Beatrice had a look of disbelief written on their face.
"Since when can a mage fight with just his fists" Eve was completely taken aback.
<Hostile coming in from your left flank> Ava warned as another holo hound charged at him from the his left.
The holo hound swiped its flaming claws at Lukas, but Lukas pulled back his body to the side, the hounds claw missing him.
At the same time evading, Lukas instantly casted another spell.
’Helix Eruption!’
A large yellow magic circle bloomed on the ground under the hound made of three triangles linked by six crystal shaped glyphs with looping heads, zig-zag patterns decorated the magic circle and at its heart was the image of a jagged crystal in yellow which rotated slowly.
Then the magic circle glowed and a yellow gemstone erupted out in jagged spikes, impaling the holo hound’s instantly, throughout its entire body.
The holo hound died on the spot as it was impaled.
"Father, did Lukas just cast a spell mid battle?" Bella asked Valeric with shock written on her face.
"Well, your brother just did" Valeric eyes narrowed at Lukas’How is he able to cast spells mid battle, even his casting speed is instantaneous but how is that possible.’
Valeric thought to himself as he watched Lukas.
’Casting spells mid battle is something that shouldn’t be possible for a mage, even if he is using instant cast but as a mage casting spells in close combat and mid combat is something I have never seen in my life. Just how is he pulling this off?’
Eve didn’t just know how this was possible.
’I thought mages could never engage in close range battles but how come Lukas is able to fight in close battle and using his fist as a weapon, none of this makes any sense’
Even Bella just felt at a loss at what she was witnessing. Beatrice just looked on with an unreadable expression as she stared at Lukas.
Lukas spun around instantly to face the charging holo hound who had an expression of fury and growling as its eyes blazed with anger as it charged at him.
Lukas took a running stance.
"Time to go on the offensive" Lukas dashed at the holo hound with a grin on his face. To achieved the speed he needed, a Brillant idea came to mind.
Lukas directed his mana flow straight towards his leg, mana seeped into the muscles located in his leg and feet, the mana found its way into the tendons and fibers of every muscle.
Lukas could feel the size of every individual muscle, as he injected his mana into them and the mana veins in his leg and feet glowed.
His muscles tightened firmly against each other an explosive force hidden within, at the same time, he directed another part of his mana towards his right hand in other to use fist of steel.
Like a recoil spring, Lukas dashed forward towards the incoming holo hound. He clenched his fist as he approached the holo hound.
Graaa!!
The holo hound opened its jaw to attack him as he came before it But he evaded to the left side, the hound’s jaw snapping empty air.
Lukas fist was already in a striking position and then he released his fist forward, his right fist went forward as his mana veins glowed.
BAM!
His fist slammed into the side of the holo hound and its side caved in, the hound released a dying yelp as Lukas fist connected cleanly.
The hound’s body was blasted to the side from the force of the blow.
<Incoming attack from above!> Ava’s warning came fast.
Lukas saw the same attack of the shadow specter eagle heading towards him at blinding speed from the side of his eye.
Swoosh!
The attack gained on him but Lukas instantly ducked and the attack passed inches over his head, that it ruffed his hair.
As the attack passed over, Lukas instantly sprang back up and casted a spell aimed at the Eagle mid-air.
Gale Blade!
A cyan colored magic circle bloomed into existence before Lukas, three concentric circle spun as they were linked by six glyphs curved in the shape of an arc, spinning at the center of the magic circle was large blade in the shape of an arc.
The magic circle paused and a green arc of energy shot towards the eagle, but before the arc of condensed energy could hit it, the bird countered attacked as it swiped its left wing in an arc, sending an arc of purple energy racing towards the incoming attack.
Both attacks clashed midair and exploded into a plume of smoke, the holo eagle flapped its wings, feeling like it had handled the attack very well.
But then the sound of something or rather somethings, cutting through the air whistled. From within the smoke, emerged three gale blades heading towards the eagle.
The eagle had a shocked look in its eyes, at that moment it started to reconsider its life choices as three gale blades gained on it.
Before the holo could react, the energy blades sliced cleanly through it, separating the holo eagle in three.
As the smoke cleared, three magic circles of the spell, Gale Blade floated in front of Lukas as he had a smug look on his face. This chapter was copied from g.com without permission.
"Triple cast of the same spell" Eve could not believe her very eyes. "This boy... which means all this time of him been holed up in the library wasn’t for show in the end, no wonder he was this confident, very good" A proud smile curved on Eve’s face as she looked at Lukas.
"Bravo son, bravo that was one hell of a surprise given to me by my dear wife" Valeric clapped his hand as he walked towards Lukas with a smile on his face.

A stream of system prompts appeared before Lukas as he had completed the mission.
"Mission successfully accomplished and I even received an extra reward for a side quest not included, seems like some certain conditions can trigger these extra rewards based on the circumstances, but anyway I have completed this mission"
Lukas looked at the rewards of the completed mission with a satisfied look.
Eve and Beatrice made their way down the stairs, while Valeric and Bellas stood at the edge of the platform.
"So, my darling how was my surprise?" Eve asked Valeric with a smile as they approached.
"Well, my darling wife, I never expected this kind of surprise and when did our boy, become a mage who could use his fist in battle, cast spells mid fight and in close range, this is way beyond anything I had imagined" Valeric said to Eve as he looked proud of Lukas display.
"I am as shocked as you too" Eve replied.
’Although the system prompt said, he was impressed slightly, but to me he looks genuinely happy’
Lukas looked at Valeric who had a smile on his face

Everyone froze upon hearing him,
"What did you just say?" Valeric could not believe his ears.
"I want to learn swordsmanship!" Lukas repeated.
"Whaaat!!!" Everyone’s ones widened in shock.
