[Instant Cast: They say as a mage, that one must make chants to bring their spells to life, it takes minutes or seconds for high level mages, but nah, you be dead before that. As a close combat mage, you have the ability to cast your spells mid battle in the span of a second]
This is one broken innate ability, which means the ability is tied to my class been a close combat mage
<Yes> Ava replied to Adam.
In this world only mages who have reached a high level both in power rank and spell casting can be able to pull off instant cast just like Lukas mother, who had used a healing spell without a chant.
But for Adam because of his class, he can cast spells instantly outright without a chant right from the beginning.
A class, that makes me a mage who could fight in close combat really defies the norms of this world, adding on it with my innate ability, instant cast is one of kind, even if I am happy of it, it still increases my chance of been monitored by those who killed Lukas.
Adam thought about it, he had to hide his instant cast for now till he gets into the academy, because from the former Lukas memories, he found out that Lukas will be attending the Imperial academy in two months’ time.
Bella his sister attended the same academy too.
Although the imperial academy might be safe on the outside, but once my power start growing sharply and faster, tabs will be kept on me no doubt, the academy is a 50/50 place of life and death for me.
Adam knew he needed to grow stronger to overcome the obstacles that will come his way, leaving the imperial academy for now he decided to check the next innate ability, fist of steel.
[Fist of Steel: As one who has the unbreakable body, your fists become a weapon in close combat because your body is an evolving crucible of strength and defense. Apart from your physical strength, your fists are capable of using mana for attacks]
Seems because of my physique my fist are weapons I can use in battle, I think this must be also because of my class.
Adam looked at his Fists, the thought of using his fists in battle was exhilarating.
I would still love to use a sword as my weapon, because it’s something I really look forward in this world of magic
The thought made him smile.
<As a close combat mage, your class doesn’t limit you to using magic to cast spells, but even in weapon-based attacks, you could be a swordsman while been a mage at the same time, as your class implies you are close combat mage>
Ava explained to him.
This makes everything much better, been a swordsman and a mage at the same is like a hybrid, each making up for the other’s weakness.
He decided to check the next ability.
he tapped on it. As he tapped on it his eyes widened.
[Draconic overlord: (Locked) reach 8 star of the Adept rank to unlock and see its information]
Seriously? He sighed.
<Don’t expect everything to be handed out to you easily> Ava told him with a smile
Even after receiving heavenly abilities, I still have to work for it? Well not bad since its gonna be part of my growth
Adam just smiled.
Then what about the mission slot, what kind of missions? he asked Ava. Visit g.com for the full chapter.
<Missions can also be known as Tasks or quests, which are given by me, the reincarnate system, these quests help you grow in battle and learning depending on the nature of the missions, for every mission completed they is always a reward attached to it>
In other words, mission are tasks that can help me on this path of mine towards reaching the top right?
<Yes, these missions can help you improve in various ways with rewards for completion, just like how you took missions back on earth and they also serve as a push for you to grow stronger.>
Ava replied.
I get it, when the rewards of a mission are tempting, it makes one go for it, knowing it will greatly benefit one even if its dangerous or it’s the desire to protect something. Then are the completion points what I am thinking?
Adam gestured towards the points section.
[These is where the completion points come in, for short Cp, these points are gained from completed missions, points vary depending on the nature of the mission taken, these points are the currency needed for you to buy items from the shop which is currently locked>
Items!
Adam’s eyes practically lighted up at the mention of it, he was about to say something but Ava cuts him off.
<Don’t even think about it! Don’t expect to get godlike weapons or anything like that from my store because it’s not happening, the store will only hand out what helps you and what you need!>
But I need good stuff like powerful weapons to keep me alive!
Adam retorted.
<Nope, that you have to work your ass for that>
Ava glared at him with it’s dotted eyes.
I thought you are my guide on making things easy for me in this kind of world?
Adam protested.
<On earth during your training and missions as a Defense Blazing Corp, was anything handled out easy to you?>
The sudden question from Ava made Adam go still.
Then the memories came, the early morning drills, the grueling training under the sun, rain and cold, his encounter with the Nexomorphs on countless occasions, from a rookie defense Corp to a sergeant in Five years of just joining the army.
His blaze came from the will to protect all that matters to him from the Alien invaders. The blaze in his heart is what kept him going just to protect that which makes him human and those unable to protect themselves.
He remembered the near dearth experience he went through on missions, even the comrades he had lost in battles, but he never for once wavered, he kept going, pushing no matter all in a bid to protect everything.
A smiled just spread across Adams’s lips as he remembered.
You are right Ava, nothing ever came easy, I had to work hard for it, now even if it feels like I have been given the easy card in this new world, I must still earn my strength through my hard work.
I have to reach initiate rank, 3 star to unlock the store I guess, so what kind of items does the store house?
<Well the store has a variety of items you can buy, like Techniques, clothes, gears and tech gadgets from earth, even blueprints for their creation are also sold in the store, but the gears and gadgets have been tweaked to fit the magi-tech of this world, but surpasses it>
Ava boasted with pride.
Talk more of a tech revolution. Adam just shook his head. Well, it’s not bad, at least I can see and use tech from earth, including clothes too, I miss my cyber-punk jacket outfit.
Adam had a tear drop at the corner of his eye, as it felt good to be able to use tech and gears from earth.
<This brings an end to the lecture and understanding of I, the Reincarnate System, I still prefer if you call me Ava>
Sure, thanks for the information and thank you for being by my side once again in this new life
Adam said with a bright smile on his face.
<I am happy too>
Ava replied back with a smile.
Then a holographic Screen popped up before Adam.

That’s a lot of missions, but no doubt the rewards are really tempting, I even have to reach adept rank before I enter the academy, failure to complete the main quest means my death, which means you aren’t giving this mission for just giving sake, its to keep me alive.
Adam read through the missions before him with an amused smile on his face. Then he turned to look at Bella who was already asleep in his arms, a faint smile of content plastered on her face as she slept.
So, this is how much she loves Lukas, then from now on I will fully live and accept my Identity as Lukas Valeric Lyon.
Adam placed a hand on Bella’s head, running his hand through her hair gently, admiring her peaceful face.
"I am looking forward towards completing these missions no matter what!" Adam made up his mind, he had to grow quickly in strength.
Well in this new world countless adventures await him, tales and myths never heard of will be unearthed by him became he will become the strongest no matter what!
