Lukas walks through the hallway of the Lyon Castle with Ava floating by his right; he was wearing a white long sleeve open collar white shirt with a light brown fine leather jacket on top the shirt and brown leather soft trousers.
The insignia of the house of Lyon was embroiled on the shirt chest pocket area and he wore a pair of soft boots.
Beside him was Bella who was in a blue day dress made of fine wool, with fine flowery patterns embroiled on the dress, her hair was neatly arranged and fell freely to her waist and she wore a pair of white slippers.
Lukas was taller than Bella.
Standing behind Lukas was a maid, she had brown chestnut hair and deep brown eyes, an oval face and peach lips, she had a curvy body, an ample blossom and looked like she was the same age as Lukas.
This was Zelda, Lukas personal maid.
Behind Bella was the Head maid of the house she had silk black hair as dark as the night sky, she had a figure and beauty that did turn heads where ever she went, sky-blue eyes that looked like the sky.
Seductive red lips that held a charm in them and an hourglass figure and thick body that would make many men forget how to think just from looking at her.
They walked through the hallway as large windows stood on the left that let the warm sunlight filter in. on the walls of the hallway was the sigil of the Lyon insignia, paintings of high quality were displayed on the wall.
Flower vases with bright color flowers which gave off faint auras sat atop stands by the walls, they were spaced like 8 meters from each other.
A few armor stands stood guard by some sections of the hallway, crystalline chandeliers took their place on the ceiling of the hallway and a red long carpet lay beneath their feet.
Adam who had now fully taken the identity of Lukas, stared around in awe but maintained his composure, just his eyes darting around in pure amazement.
So, this what the house of a noble family in fantasy stories really looks like, seeing it up close is mind blowing
Lukas complemented inwardly with a light smile on his face.
"Young...master?" An emotional voice called out from behind Lukas, his expression fell when he heard the voice of Zelda, his personal maid.
This morning, she busted into tears when she found out he was alive and she had even jumped into his arms and refused to let go.
Saying she takes the blame for what had happened to him, since she was his personal maid, she had her snort on him, he tried to calm her down but it didn’t help at all.
That was until Bella and the Head maid pulled her away from him, even till now she is really worried, still blaming herself which, he didn’t even just understand.
Although he doesn’t want to admit it, he doesn’t think she was the one who had poisoned Lukas because of how close they were, but still he knew it’s best not to trust anyone.
Even his parents had made a sweep through the maids, butlers and guards but still yet no trace of the culprit or the source of the poison.
The person was an expert at covering his/her tracks.
"Zelda for the fifteen time, I am really okay and healthy, trust me" Lukas smiled at her, as her eyes started to water again.
"Are...you sure, if not just tell me" Zelda said to him, tears nearly spilling out.
"Zelda, no more tears please, as you can see your young master is alright and stop blaming yourself" Lukas placed a hand on her shoulder.
Zelda looked at him and just nodded.
"If the young master is alright then I am glad" She cleaned her tears as a bright smile appeared on her face.
"See, you look more beautiful with that smile on your face" Lukas complemented her.
"Really!" Her face turned bright red as she heard him and made her embarrassed that she turned her face away.
Lukas looked at her with disbelief.
<Maybe the former Lukas wasn’t the complementing type> Ava said as it looked at the girl too
Does it mean she wanted to hear such a complement from him for so long?
Lukas squinted at the possibility. Well, they had literally grown together so some chemistry might had happened between them.
Bella and the head maid just looked at the two of them.
"The gods had shown the house of Lyon mercy, by bringing back the young master" the head maid spoke as signs of crying earlier was evident in her eyes.
"Miss Beatrice what you said might be true but I think it might beyond that, like the strings of fate giving him back to us" Bella replied to her.
"Strings of fate you say?" Beatrice which was the head maid’s name was quite taken aback.
"I don’t know how to say it, it feels him coming back means his purpose in this world has not been fulfilled yet" Bella turned towards the window as the warm sunlight illuminated her face.
Beatric was silent as an unreadable expression appeared on her face.
I don’t know what had played the strings to bring Lukas back, but I am glad it did.
Bella thought to herself with a smile.
Soon the group stopped in front of a huge wooden double door made of thick dark oak wood, the sigil of the Lyon house was carved at the center of the door and dyed with a gold and crimson color.
Rune patterns traced their way across the entire door, above atop the door post was a text "LIBRARY" engraved on it.
This must be the library.
Lukas thought as he looked at the imposing doors before him.
Beatrice walked forward and stood before the doors, then she placed her palm against the door, then she let out her mana which was green in color.
The runes on the door flared in response and color as she injected her mana into the rune, every rune lighted up in a beautiful spectacle.
Wow
Lukas looked at the scene before him with shining eyes.
With a hum, the doors began to creak open slowly, revealing the inside,
Without wasting time, the group stepped inside the library, when Lukas entered inside, his mind was blown away by the scene before him.
Before him was the library of the Lyon House, it was a 3-story wide expanse of space in circular shape. Filled with shelves packed to the brim with books.
the place was illuminated by Glow stones which were green in color, some book shelves floated in the air.
The design of the place felt very grand, even the shelves were made of high-quality Dark oak wood, just like the doors, with patterns carved on them.
Floating disks hovered in the space around them.
They weren’t the only ones in the library; they were few people too scanning through the shelves for the books they were looking for.
Others were already on the floating disks which hovered close to the floating shelves.
His eyes lit up with amazement at the scenery before him, what he had only seen in movies, anime or read in manga and books, stood right before him.
His eyes quickly caught the presence of other people.
Seems like other people are also allowed into the library apart from we, although the former Lukas had been here before, but for me it’s something else.
He took in the scene with a smile on his face.
Everyone in the library stopped what they were doing when their eyes landed on Lukas and Bella.
Their faces had a look of shock and disbelief as they stared at Lukas.
"Greetings Young Mistress and the young master" They all greeted in sync with respect as their voice echoed.
Lukas and Bella just nodded with smile at the people.
Am not used to the young master thing and they looked shocked, everyone should have been aware of Lukas death, so seeing me now alive is shocking.
Lukas sighed.
"The place feels better and grander every time I come back" Lukas commented as the people went back to what they were doing.
"That’s the family’s library for you; our library is even on par with the royal library at the imperial academy" Bella replied to him.
"Really?" Lukas wanted to know more as he turned towards Bella.
"Yes, because I have been to the royal library, although only talented students can have access to the library" Bella spoke as they made their way through the library.
"Was it really impressive?" Lukas asked.
"Well maybe a little, just the building though, when it came to knowledge it felt as if our library surpassed it in way I couldn’t explain" She replied.
If she says something like this, then I must drown myself in the knowledge this library of ours has to offer.
Adam himself had made up his mind to check the Lyon’s library according to the former Lukas memories.
He wanted to read the books here himself and known more about this world and its history including the myths and legends of this world he had been reincarnated into.
And his first stop the library, which would hold the knowledge he seeks.
"So, what are you going to study today?" Bellas asked him.
"History of the world" Lukas replied.
"But young master I thought you usually studied books based on magic and spells?" Zelda spoke up.
"Well, I decided to do something a little different today" Lukas said to her.
"Something different?" Beatrice looked at him
"Let’s just say it’s the thirst for knowledge" He replied to Beatrice as he made his way towards a section of tall shelves.
Meanwhile Beatric just stared at Lukas an unreadable expression on her face.
A sign was placed at the entrance of the section which was "History Records of the Mystic world"
"Let’s begin with some history shall we" Lukas said with a smile as excitement bubbled within him.
