Lukas held a large book in his hands, it looked ancient with a very thick leather cover, it looked like something extracted from an ancient ruin.
Behind him was Zelda and Beatrice who carried books, Zelda held hers with both hands while Beatrice just used magic to make the books float beside her.
"How wish I could use magic effectively like you" Zelda grumbled.
"It’s a matter of practice, just patience Zelda" Beatric said to her with a smile.
"Lukas I don’t remember you having an interest in history, every time you were holed up in here, you were mostly going through books that talked about magic casting foundation, elements, affinities, spell casting and magic circles, seeing your sudden interest in history is new" Bella said to him.
"Someone once said, Knowledge is a treasure and it will follow you were ever you go" Lukas replied to her.
"Hmm, that’s one interesting line, I wonder were picked that up from" Bella smiled at him.
Lukas held onto the book like a prized treasure he had fought many battles to get.
Reading another world’s history is a dream come true I wonder what I might find and I even asked for the oldest book that talks about the history of the mystic world.
Meanwhile Bella held a book in hand which Lukas eyes darted to.
"So big sis what book are you holding?"
"Oh this, its book about magical plants and herbs used for potion making" She replied.
"So, are you into potion making?" he asked.
"Well, I kind of, I just love the art of making potions, it gives one the creative space to do something new" She explained to him.
"Which means you also intend to become an alchemist?" Lukas raised an eyebrow at her.
"Yes of course" She answered.
"But you are a holy knight, so can you handle both been a knight and been an alchemist?" Lukas looked at her.
"I will try, although many people at the academy had told me to give up such idea but my love for magical plants and herbs has been rooted in me since we were kids" she said to him, clutching the book tightly. Expecting him to say the same thing like others
Lukas just smiled as he heard her
"that’s great, even I have an interest in plants and herbs, as your brother, if you are confident in handling both been an alchemist and a holy knight at the same time then go on, I support you" he said to her.
Her almond eyes brightened up as she heard him.
"Then I will, don’t worry I am confident I can manage" She smiled.
"Just see it as form of multi-tasking" Lukas said to her as they approached a large desk with chairs.
"Multi-tasking?" Bella was lost at the word.
Ah crap I forget this isn’t earth
He facepalmed. Before turning to her.
"Multi-tasking means been able to handle more than one task effectively" He explained.
"Okay" Bella just nodded.
Then the group sat down, putting their books on the table.
Lukas looked around, as the people in the library glanced towards him with shock written on their faces.
He thought to himself.
"Em, Big sis the library seems lively, are people usually allowed other than us?" He asked her.
"Huh?" Bella was taken aback by his question as she raised an eyebrow at him
What’s with that expression or did I ask a wrong question.
He stared blankly at her.
"Have already forgotten?" She threw her own question at him.
"Forget what exactly?" he was lost.
"Never mind, this people here are from the family’s military and those from the Lyon academy like professors and scholars, only those with outstanding feats and achievements are given the opportunity to come here to hone their knowledge" Bella explained to him
This is really fascinating, even the Lyon’s have an academy of their own, from the former Lukas memory, the academy was built by his father and mother to nurture commoners who had awakened their class and talents, even second- and third-rate nobles from other kingdoms and from this kingdom enroll in our academy.
Although its not impressive as the imperial academy, it still holds a strong position among the best academies on the continent. They did this as a form of helping the commoners who would not have a chance at attending an academy in their lives.
What wonderful parents I have, they aren’t even doing it for the money, it’s more of raising talents that would have been buried in the mud and I guess this another reason for the Lyon’s strength.
Lukas just smiled at this.
"Thanks for the lecture Big sis" Lukas thanked her.
"it’s no problem, anything for you" She just smiled.
"Then back to business shall we" Lukas opened the large book before him ready to drown himself in history of this world.
The book he had taken was a book that nobody else apart from the Lyon’s had access to, when Lukas had asked for something older that talked about the creation of the mystic world, everyone was surprised.
Bella had to use a mana communication crystal to contact their father to ask if they were books like that in the library and he confirmed although he was surprised that he wanted to read history that old.
Bella had explained that it was Lukas idea, he was taken aback, it came as a surprise to him that his son now had fondness for history, in the end he agreed and directed to the upper floor where only the family members were allowed.
Even Zelda and Beatrice had to wait for the siblings on the lower floor.
when both got there, they found the second floor even better than the first floor but the books here were older and looked more ancient, it was even Bella’s first time on the second floor.
She had used the opportunity to grab an old text about magical plants and herbs.
Then Lukas started his reading, even Zelda had used the opportunity to grab some text on magic foundations as a mage, she was grateful that Lukas had given her a go head.
Lukas noticed that the record history of this text was from the year 512 year of Aegus, the era of myths and legends and it compiles records dating about 150,000 years old before that year.
Lukas jaw nearly dropped at the history records.
"Does anyone know the 512th year of Aegus?" Lukas asked.
Everyone looked at him as he asked about it.
"512th year of Aegus, what’s even that?" Zelda was confused.
"Year of Aegus, I have never heard of it, it might be an ancient era before 10, 000 years ago, rise of the era of women domination" Bella who took her focus from her book said to him.
"What year did the era take hold?" Likas narrowed his eyes, he had thought these women dominated thing has been right from the dawn of creation.
"I think it was the year 2678, year of goddess felona" Bella answered.
"They say those records had long been lost except for the one before you" Bella pointed to the book before him.
"If we are currently in the year 7689, year of the crowned sun goddess, then this book before me is at least 250,000 years old!" Lukas was stunned at the fact.
"What!" Bella and Zelda were taken aback by such revelation.
"250,000 years old! That’s really old!" Zelda could not believe it.
"Even this text on magical plants and herbs is even more complex and holds more information than any other book I have read so far" Bella had a stunned look on her face.
Then both siblings looked at each other, a sudden dawn of realization hit them, the books they were holding were priceless treasures housing ancient knowledge.
How did mother and father get their hands on such books?
That was the thought that crossed both siblings mind at the same time.
"Well never expected this, then I will help myself to it" Lukas grinned as he turned towards the first page.
For countless eons, they say the creation of this world which all call the mystic world started with a spark of light in void filled darkness, a single spark the bloomed into colors of life in a darkness that swallowed everything. The question, who created this spark?
They call them gods, not just gods, but the gods of creation and life, from ancient records, the name of these two gods were called the father of creation and mother of life, it’s said the father created and the mother brought life.
We know its true, then the father of creation and mother of life begot ten children, which were known as the Ten great gods and goddesses, five gods and five goddesses which were set in place to rule the mystic world.
Their true names are, Aegus, Zion, Lou Zhao, Ares, Hadas these are the five brothers, Felona, Aquaris, Melari, Serakina, Moon Quin, these are the five sisters.
Below them are the high gods who serve them and oversee this world of ours on their behalf.
As countless people had taken an unforgettable adventure around the mystic world for thousands of years, they have come to discover that the mystic world is a world one could never fully explore in a lifetime.
They are just too many places that exist and new discovers that await at every stop, it’s a place filled with countless wonders,
A world where empires and kingdoms had risen and fallen, a place where shattering historical moments had taken place, a world that has seen rise of heroes who had stood up to the gods. A battle of gods and heroes.
Lukas read on with interest.
The mystic world has six continents which are colossal beyond size and in mass, one might not even fully explore a single continent in two lifetimes. These continents are divided by a very large expanse of ocean teeming with disastrous sea monsters.
Since the dawn of time, when people used the seas as a means of transport, when explorers decided to go on expeditions on hope of discovering new lands, but all ended in tragedy as none could cross the dangerous ocean.
Not until flying vessels were invented, then for the first time we discovered the other continents beside ours, on the east are two eastern world continents, filled with breathtaking beauty and culture.
What we call mana; they call it spiritual energy.
"How many continents are they in the world" Lukas suddenly asked.
"Form my knowledge, only four continents are known" Bella answered without looking at Lukas as she was fully invested on her book.
"Four?" Lukas took his gaze back to the world map on the book which was very detailed with the six continents.
Seems like much historical records were lost after the beginning of the age of women domination.
Lukas just sighed and went back to reading, as he was pulled into the history of this world.

"Wow! I can’t believe such plants exist! Even these potions I have never heard of them" Bella’s eyes shimmered with curiosity at her new discovery.
Meanwhile Beatrice just watched the siblings with a narrowed gaze as they read the books with them, her gaze lingered on Lukas more, a glint seen in her eyes.
