I love you
23: 23.
I love you Ivy’s POV
By the next day I’m feeling better and I decide I need to move.
“Ryder, can you find us a villa to stay in? I think we’ll be here for a few more days and I want some privacy,” I ask.
“I’m on it,” he says.
“Will you be alright here while I’m out?”
“Yes, I’m fine. I want to talk to Theodore a bit before I go . I need to sort a few things out.”
Ryder leaves and I go down to breakfast.
Theodore has just arrived.
“Good morning, Ivy. You’re looking much better,” he says.
“I feel back to normal — and I’m starving!”
Theodore orders steak and eggs for both of us from the chef.
“Have a seat. Let me pour our coffee,” he says.
I sit and wait.
He brings my coffee, just how I like it, with an apple croissant.
“Oh! My favourite!” I say.
“I remember. I had the chef make them special for you this morning.” Theodore watches me take a big bite and smiles.
“That was very thoughtful of you, Theodore, thank you,” I say.
It’s insane how hungry I am after a day and half of vomiting.
The chef brings the rest of our food.
“So Ryder is out finding a place for us to stay for the next few days. I feel bad, after all you’ve done, for us to stay even a minute longer since I saw how upset it all made Tiffany. I never want to ruin your life.”
“You’ll move today?” What is that I see in Theodore’s face?
Is he sad?
“Yes. I think I’ll rest for another day then we can get back to our negotiations about the partnership. I’d like to get it done. I’m homesick. I want to return to Ice Moon.”
Theodore stays silent, chewing a bite of steak.
“I suppose you’re missing your boyfriend.”
“Him and my grandfather, Dawson. Plus, as you know, I’m the head of the business affairs for Ice Moon Pack. Things have been neglected because I stayed here longer than I thought I would.”
“Yes, of course. Your life is there.” Theodore seems to be talking to himself as much as he’s talking to me.
“Everything has happened so quickly after you being gone for five years. I think I’m still getting my thoughts sorted about it all.”
“Yes, it’s a lot. Theodore, I want to thank you again for saving me. Visit g.com for the full chapter. If you had not jumped in the seas and got me I’d be gone now. I will always be thankful especially because I know the cost you paid to get into the sea. You’re a brave man.”
I truly mean my words.
I hope that he can understand that.
Theodore smiles.
“Thank you. You’re the only person who I told about those fears.” He looks at me longer.
“There are so many things that I’ve only shared with you and no one else. We were so close once.”
“We were.” I also feel sad that that time has passed.
I also know that after everything, we can never get it back.
We sit quietly for a bit.
“At least now Tiffany can return to her house and the conflict will be gone. You can live in harmony again.”
“Yes,” Theodore says.
“I’m not exactly sure harmony and Tiffany have ever lived together, but we can only hope.” We both laugh.
I finish eating and stand.
Out the window I see Ryder return.
“Let me get myself sorted. Thank you again. Let’s see if we can get a meeting scheduled for the day after tomorrow. Do you think that will work for you?”
“I’ll sort it out and let you know.” He stays seated and watches me go.

The villa Ryder found is gorgeous, with a forest at the back and a beautiful cultivated garden at the front.
My room has a wide balcony looking over the front of the house.
I’m sitting out there when I see a car arrive.
“Someone’s coming, Ryder,” I call to him in the next room which also has a balcony.
“I saw it. I’ll go and check.”
I watch Ryder go out the front door just as the car stops.
To my surprise it’s Thomas and the twins!
I’m excited and very happy we got the private villa.
I want to see the twins but I don’t want anyone else like Theodore to see them.
I rush down straight into a big hug from Thomas and the kids “Oh I’ve missed you guy!”
I look in the car to see if Elijah and Sophia are there too.
Thomas knows who I’m looking for.
“Sorry, just the twins. Elijah said it was better he stay with his grandfather who will be too lonely with everyone gone and Sophia wouldn’t come unless we brought her pony which couldn’t fit in the car.”
I laugh.
“Well at least I have these two!”
“Is this your new house, Mummy?” Olivia asks.
“No. Temporary. There are lots of rooms. You could each have your own if you want,” I say.
“Sleep in my own bed? Without Olivia?” Noah says as if I’ve temporarily lost my mind.
They like to be together as much as possible.
“You don’t have to. I think one room has a big double bed that would fit both of you perfectly, ” I say correcting myself.
“I love the garden. Olivia come! Let’s go and see” They run off together.
I turn to Thomas.
He takes me in his arms.
“I’ve missed you desperately. I hope you aren’t angry we came. I promise we’ll stay out of your way,” Thomas says.
I kiss him deeply.
“I’ve missed you too. I’m over-the-moon that you’re here.”
I take his hand and we walk into the house.
Ryder smiles.
“I’ll keep an eye on the kids if you two need some time alone.”
“Thanks, Ryder!” I say.
***
Upstairs, Thomas kicks my bedroom door shut behind us.
He pushes me back on the bed, parts my lips with his tongue and kisses me deeply.
Our wolves are rising and I can smell the scent of his need for me.
In seconds we are naked and together.
I hold him tightly inside as he rocks against me until I orgasm.
I stifle my howl so that the children won’t hear.
He comes after me and does the same.
He lays on top of me, kissing my neck.
He licks and nips and then he is about to mark me without my consent.
I pull away.
“Not yet. Let me finish the divorce,” I say.
He’s disappointed but not enough to ruin our coming together.
He kisses me.
“I love you, Ivy.”
“I love you too, babe. Thanks for coming. I feel healed now. And safe again.”
