Three months later—
Chen Yu finally stood before the reinforced Z-steel prison silently.
Inside the cage, the black beetle had completely evolved into a sacred-blood creature.
Its crimson-black shell reflected dim light across the room.
Sharp spikes covered its body.
Its pressure alone far surpassed primitive creatures completely.
Chen Yu stared quietly at the sacred-blood beetle.
Inside his mind, only one thought remained.
Sacred geno points.
If he consumed all of the sacred-blood flesh…
his strength would increase rapidly inside the First Sanctuary. (supergene.fandom.com)
Chen Yu slowly unlocked the reinforced prison carefully.
The moment the restraints loosened—
the sacred-blood beetle instantly became violent.
Screech!
Its massive body smashed toward him immediately.
But Chen Yu had already prepared for this battle long ago.
After maxing both ordinary and primitive geno points, his physical strength had already surpassed most primitive evolvers.
He instantly dodged sideways before slashing toward one of the beetle's damaged joints.
Clang!
The shell cracked slightly.
The sacred-blood beetle roared again and charged violently.
The entire room shook from the impact.
Chen Yu continuously retreated while attacking carefully.
He avoided direct confrontation completely.
Minutes later—
after repeatedly attacking the same weak point—
the sacred-blood beetle finally collapsed heavily onto the ground.
A notification immediately appeared before him.
> [Sacred-Blood Golden Beetle killed.]
[Beast Soul discovered.]
The moment Chen Yu saw the second notification—
his expression twitched immediately.
Then—
inside his Sea of Consciousness—
the sacred-blood beast soul directly flew toward the cracked Hōgyoku.
Absorbed.
Again.
Chen Yu stood there silently.
"…Seriously?"
He almost wanted to cry.
Sacred-blood beast souls were priceless treasures inside the First Sanctuary.
Yet the Hōgyoku continued swallowing every valuable beast soul automatically.
But no tears came.
Only frustration.
After calming himself slowly, Chen Yu dragged the sacred-blood beetle corpse toward the cooking area.
The rich scent of sacred flesh slowly filled the room after the meat began roasting.
Then he finally started eating.
Immediately—
powerful energy surged throughout his body.
Notifications appeared continuously.

After finishing the meal, Chen Yu slowly opened his sanctuary panel.

Ordinary Geno Points: 100 / 100 MAX
Primitive Geno Points: 100 / 100 MAX
Mutant Geno Points: 15

Chen Yu quietly stared at the panel for several seconds.
His strength was increasing rapidly now.
Much faster than normal evolvers inside Steel Armor Shelter.
But the Hōgyoku absorbing beast souls continuously still made him feel frustrated.
Because every stolen beast soul meant losing another possible trump card.
Meanwhile—
inside the Sea of Consciousness—
the cracked Hōgyoku floated silently again as if nothing had happened.
