Kara stared at the bald man before her.

Although she couldn’t absorb magic power, the vast number of books she had read in the Magic House allowed her to make a quick judgment: the opponent belonged to the type of mage who relied on artifacts to cast spells—the glowing blue ring on his arm was his casting medium.

Without hesitation, Kara instantly entered her Super Speed State, intending to end the battle before the opponent could finish his spell.Full novel: Supergirl Creating a New Universe in Marvel — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Seeing that she was just a young girl, a flash of disdain crossed the man’s eyes, and he actually spoke leisurely: “Strange woman, I am Razaa.

State your—” Before he could finish his sentence, a searing beam of light tore through the air.

The Heat Vision fired in her Super Speed State was faster than Razaa could react to, slamming solidly into his chest.

Kara thought this strike would be enough to pierce his heart, but runes sharing the same origin as the ring suddenly surfaced on Razaa’s body, forcefully blocking the burning ray.

Kara increased her energy output, and her Heat Vision became as thick as a water pipe, but it only made those runes glow brighter.

She let out a cold snort, her figure flashing like lightning as she delivered a heavy punch to his chest.

Razaa flew backward like a cannonball, crashing into the mountain behind him and smashing a crater over ten meters deep.

Exiting her Super Speed State, Kara breathed a sigh of relief—that punch just now was enough to cleave a mountain; there was no way Razaa could have survived.

Just as she turned to leave, eight rings imbued with magical energy shot out from the crater.

Kara failed to sense them in time, and her abdomen was struck violently, sending her flying backward.

Razaa stepped out from the dust, inwardly shocked.

If he hadn’t traded with that Chinese man named “Wenwu” for the usage rights of the “Ten Rings” a few months ago, he would have been killed instantly by this “Mutant”—without the Ten Rings, he was just an ordinary terrorist.

Although Wenwu had warned him that the Ten Rings would cause severe backlash to anyone who wasn’t their Master, Razaa usually only enlarged them to use as a barrier to hide his base.

If Kara hadn’t pushed him to a dead end, he would never have worn them personally.

In just this short while, he already felt his life burning away rapidly—and this was even after he had spent a fortune to transplant a small amount of “Ta Lo” blood.

However, the power of the Ten Rings was indeed astonishing.

After Kara was sent flying, the massive magical energy rampaged through her body, especially her abdomen, which felt as if it had been struck by a heavy sledgehammer, leaving the energy balance within her in chaos.

Fortunately, Kara could rely on her incredible physical recovery to gradually restore her energy balance.

Since she couldn’t win quickly, she decided to fight a war of attrition—she didn’t believe the opponent’s magic reserves could outmatch her recovery speed.

Razaa wasn’t stupid either.

Seeing that Kara wasn’t dead, he immediately enlarged four rings to surround himself as a defense, while the other five rings streaked toward Kara like meteors.

Kara didn’t dare to be overconfident.

Although these rings couldn’t keep up with her speed, they could fire magic beams to intercept her.

If she were hit by multiple beams simultaneously, she would inevitably lose her balance and fall again—it would be dangerous then, as there were still four rings unused.

The sounds from Stark’s side reached her ears: his advance was going quite smoothly, and he had almost reached the cave entrance.

However, that Doctor had unfortunately been caught in an RPG explosion and was beyond saving.

A furious Tony was currently on a killing spree.

Stark’s progress put Kara’s mind at ease.

She crushed a pendant, and a greatsword flowing with golden light suddenly appeared in her hand—the “Sword of Vishanti.” Kara swung the sword, cleaving through the incoming beams one by one, and the battle fell into a stalemate for a moment.

Razaa, however, grew increasingly anxious.

The speed at which the Ten Rings were burning his life was accelerating, and the bit of Ta Lo blood in his body was about to be exhausted.

If he couldn’t defeat Kara soon, the Ten Rings would burn him into an empty shell even without her doing anything.

Rage scorched his sanity—if it weren’t for this woman interfering, Stark would already be in his grasp.

As long as Stark built missiles for him, all his sacrifices could be recovered.

But now, all his plans were in disarray.

Kara keenly perceived the other’s agitation.

In her view, this mage was already at the end of his rope.

Her spirits lifted, Kara accelerated her offensive.

Although the magical defense was hard to break through head-on, as long as his magic was exhausted, the opponent would just be an ordinary person.

Under her fierce assault, Razaa began to cough up blood.

The Ten Rings were about to burn away his life, and his only choice was to gamble everything—releasing the barrier outside the cave, reclaiming the last ring that maintained it, and merging the Ten Rings for one final strike.

Seeing his crazed expression, Kara sensed trouble.

Just then, the final ring flew in from the cave entrance and struck her back heavily while she was off guard.

Although it wasn’t as painful as being hit by all eight rings earlier, the magical energy still disrupted her balance.

Razaa was overjoyed; as long as he could slow Kara down, he would have a chance to complete the merging of the Ten Rings.

He strained to recall all the rings, frantically pouring his remaining life force into them.

The Ten Rings erupted with a dazzling light, shooting toward Kara like falling stars— Kara forced her weakened body up, knowing this combined attack was no small matter.

Although it wasn’t as powerful as the magical explosion that killed Grandma Enya, it was enough to severely wound her.

In a flash, she quickly crushed two pendants engraved with the “Shield of Seraphim.” The double shields unfolded instantly but sent sparks flying the moment they touched the Ten Rings.

The first layer was torn apart like thin paper, and the second layer only managed to delay the rings for an instant.

But for Kara, this instant was enough.

She crushed another pendant, and another Sword of Vishanti appeared in her hand.

Crossing the two swords, she firmly resisted the impact of the Ten Rings.

With a roar of exertion, she burst forth with incredible strength, catching the Ten Rings between her swords and hurling them deep into the mountain.

The rings vanished into the rock layers.

His life force exhausted, Razaa slumped to the ground, his venomous gaze locked onto Kara as if he wanted to devour her with his eyes.

Kara responded with a disdainful chuckle—a mage without magic was just a mortal; she had won this battle.

The dying Razaa used his last ounce of strength to pull out a pistol and pull the trigger.

In Kara’s eyes, the bullet was as slow as a snail.

But out of caution toward mages, she still instantly crushed the “Images of Ikonn” pendant, splitting into dozens of phantoms that scattered in all directions.

After the gunshot, Kara realized it was just an ordinary bullet.

Razaa had already breathed his last.

She scratched her head, feeling a bit embarrassed—her fear of magic seemed to be a bit excessive.

Just then, a suit of armor riddled with bullet marks charged in.

Seeing Kara and Razaa’s corpse, Stark roared and lunged forward, his armored iron fists frantically pounding the already dead enemy: “You killed Ethan!!

Go to hell!

Go to…” Stark didn’t stop until he had hammered the corpse into a bloody pulp.

Kara had also recovered the stamina she had exhausted from fighting magic and stepped forward to pull him away.

It was time to leave.

She dragged Stark, who was still panting heavily inside the armor, out of the cave along with the suit.

Outside was a mess, with traces of burning weapons and ammunition everywhere—evidently, Stark had first incinerated the munitions before rushing into the cave to find her.

Stark calmed down slightly and spread his arms: “My armor has a flight function; I can take you down the mountain.” Kara looked at his severely scorched armor with a face full of disdain: “No thanks, I can fly myself.

Thanks for the offer.” Before he could finish his sentence, she had already soared into the air.

A sonic boom exploded over Stark’s head, the air currents swirling like clouds.

Tony was dumbfounded, looking up at the sonic boom cloud in the sky and muttering to himself: “Is she from the same Planet as me?” Shaking his head, he quickly performed a few operations on the inside of his arm.

Immediately, the thrusters on the back and soles of the Mark 1 spewed fierce flames, and the armor took to the sky, chasing in the direction where Kara had disappeared.
