When Claret reached the hospital, her eyes landed on the row of people behind Mr.
Walker with a hint of bewilderment.
She asked the nearby nurse.
“Nurse, do you know why they’re arguing?”
The nurse looked at the crowd that Claret pointed at and felt a headache.
“Isn’t it because this group of people miraculously end up being poisoned?
To be honest, this is the first time I see a group of maidservants got poisoned at the same time…”
As the nurse told the story, Claret’s eyes flickered slightly.
It seemed that her little scheme had worked.
When she saw the cleaning chemical that was used by the maidservants that was left behind, she knew very well that it was the old cleaning agent.
There was a new one that the maidservants had bought and would be used.
Using them separately would be fine.
But mixing them will produce poisonous substance that could kill people if they were not careful enough.
When that maidservant came inside, she was clearly carrying a different cleaning bottle and as long as she used it, an accident was bound to happen.
Claret had no intention of killing people.
Otherwise, she wouldn’t have started the fan in the bathroom.
In a locked room filled with poisonous gas… just staying for one minute was more than enough to kill them.
“They’re truly unlucky,” Claret said while shaking her head, hiding the calculation deep within her eyes.
“Right.” The nurse nodded.
“Since it’s a workplace accident, he has been busy arranging compensation and also calling the police for investigation.”
“Even the police is called?” Claret asked in surprise.
“Yes, I heard that there’s also a theft but I don’t know the details.”
The gossipy nurse excitedly told everything she knew to Claret, making the latter amused.
If it was not for the wrong place, she would have taken some melon seeds to share with the nurse.
She’s truly good at collecting information… I mean gossip.
Anyway, after gossiping for a bit, Claret made her way to the ward and saw that Mrs.
Walker was sleeping.
It seemed that she was too tired after tossing around.
Well, it’s also good.
She can just sit here and waited for Mr.
Walker to finish his business.
‘I wonder who will take the blame in the end.’ Claret’s eyes were filled with a hint of schadenfreude.
These maidservants might look like they respected on the surface, but she knew very well that they were all just calculating b*stards who often took advantage of the household.
When the Survival Game started, didn’t they bully her whenever they could?
Even if she retaliated, she’s just a weak young lady whose body has been hollowed out from working day and night.
She couldn’t fight them.
Claret closed her eyes for a moment and when she opened it, she had calmed down.
These were things from her previous life and she had already taken her revenge on them at that time.
Even if it came at the cost of raising her bounty level, she never regretted it.
Anyway, she killed so many people who wronged her and caused a lot of ruckus.
Is it too ruthless?
Perhaps.
But Claret didn’t care.
She didn’t want to leave any future trouble for herself and just do things in accordance to her own heart.
Rather than repressing everything in her heart and suffering, isn’t it better to let it out and express it freely?
She accepted the consequences openly.
But now…
Perhaps, she was a bit more greedy to live more quietly and peacefully compared to before, yet she didn’t have any intention of letting them go.
Because she felt disgusted when she thought about them living well.
