Klak!

The door to the ward was opened and Brenda frowned when he saw Claret inside.

But thinking about her father who was already on the verge of exploding outside because of the series of accident one after another, she could only swallow her dislike and sat far away from Claret.Full novel: Survival Game’s Villainous Hidden Boss — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Claret glanced at her briefly and then focused on her phone.

Oh, she was ordering a few more things that she forgot to buy but was quite inconspicuous to be put into her own apartment.

The delivery should put them on the basket that she had prepared outside her room.

When she went back, she would sort them out.

‘Food and livestock animals hadn’t been turned by the Survival Game yet… I’ll try to check it next week.’ Claret was silently making her plans.

While she wanted to hurry and prepare everything, but Claret also knew that stockpiling only things that was produced by the Survival Game during the ‘closed beta’ period was not so easy.

At times like this, she would miss her previous life’s house.

Even though it was small, it has everything she needed and allowed her to live peacefully.

Klack.

The door opened once again.

“Claret…” Mr.

Walker came to the ward in the evening with tired expression.

“Tomorrow you’re going to follow me to the company and took over the inspection team as the team leader.”

Claret arched her eyebrows.

This would be the first time in the past four years where she could get promoted.

“Dad!” Brenda was stunned when she heard that and quickly called out, “My sister hadn’t done anything significant!

How could she be promoted so easily?”

“This is my decision, you have no say in this matter!” Mr.

Walker glared at Brenda coldly.

Claret looked at the two of them quietly.

It was then she remembered that the son of one of the maidservants was also working in the company as the team leader.

He was one of the reasons why the maidservant dared to be impolite to her in private.

Hmm, she had actually forgotten about that guy.

After all, it has been years since she last worked in the company and she forgot about this causal relationship.

But since she had remembered, then she would give him a gift too.

Remembering how he often gave her a lot of work while he was the one who benefited the most, Claret sneered in her heart.

It seemed that she was too lenient on him in her previous life.

“I know, I’ll report to work tomorrow,” Claret replied with an indifferent tone.

Hearing his daughter’s voice that was exceptionally calm, Mr.

Walker frowned and looked at his daughter.

But what greeted him was her dark and deep eyes.

All the words of reprimand that he wanted to say was stuck in his throat along with nameless fire surging.

What kind of eyes is she giving her own father?

He’s her own father!

“You…”

“I’m going back now,” Claret interrupted before Mr.

Walker could start speaking nonsense.

She was not in the mood to talk with him and played a family drama.

“I have to go to work early tomorrow, so it’s better for me to rest early.”

With that, Claret left the ward without hesitation.
