‘Huh?

The 9th?’

With the existence of non inexhaustible resources such as the fountain, shouldn’t the government move faster and convert the soldiers into the game?Full novel: Survival Game’s Villainous Hidden Boss — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Martin should also start introducing his friends for his future foundation.

Claret was confused, but she decided not to think too much about it.

After all, it was unknown what they were currently doing right now and it was not her business to pry into their lives.

It was good enough that she was still within the top 100.

If she was not wrong, the top 100 had some kind of reward, right?

But that reward would only be delivered when the open beta started, so Claret chose to check her game panel first.

She came to the game a few days earlier than her previous life, so would her body data be similar to before?

…

Comments: Hey, new player.

Tsk, you’re definitely weaker than most other players.

Let’s hope that you can have better skills after you select your profession in the future.

…

Claret took a look on her stats and her expression turned a bit strange.

Her perception has changed.

In her previous life, she remembered that the number was only 8.

But it was possible to increase it with time and Claret remembered that she did increase it to 10 after some time in the Survival Game.

Somehow, the perception stat was brought back.

And the maximum stat for all of them was only 10.

This is also the limit of human being in the game, but some potions can temporarily increase them.

Aside from these four obvious stats, there were actually many other hidden stats that corresponded to them such as defense, resistance, luck, and so on.

Various items and skills could temporarily increase them but the player will never know the exact number because it’s considered hidden stats.

The Survival Game was not kind enough to tell them the detailed breakdown.

Tsk.

This was one of the few things that many players used to complain her previous life.

After all, they all wanted to see the detailed breakdown of the increase in their skills or something, but they couldn’t do it because the Survival Game was not willing to let them see.

Forget it.

“I should find a way to increase my strength later… this is even weaker than normal people,” Claret muttered to herself.

The average strength for ordinary adult was 7.

Her having 6 meant that her stat was lower than the average.

Considering that she barely did any exercise since she was busy working every day, Claret could only sigh to herself.

“The next one I should do is to trigger the profession.” Claret’s eyes flickered.

Until her death in her previous life, there were only 16 officials professions in the Survival Game that was divided into three types: exploration, combat, and life section.

The exploration are scavenger, medic, scout, beast master, and driver

The combat are warrior, sniper, berserker, mutant, hunter, and assassin

The life section are engineer, chemist, trader, farmer, and chef.

It was not known why some other professions such as tailor, cleaner, or the likes couldn’t have their own specialized profession.

But there were generally general skills that they could learn without having to pick the profession.

So in a way, it was actually quite good.

As for how to trigger the profession…

Claret looked around her and then shook her head regretfully.

The profession that she wanted to select couldn’t be triggered with the mediocre materials at her apartment and she needed to find the specialized materials that had been digitalized by the game.

Otherwise, the profession selection wouldn’t be triggered.

‘Forget it, let’s take it one step at a time.’

Claret looked at her panel and then clicked the inventory list.

There were equipment section and then also several rows of inventory boxes just like a game.

This is the reason why Claret wanted to enter the game.

She needed the space from the inventory.

But just like many other Survival Game, the inventory box was limited and every player only have 10 inventory in the beginning.

You want more?

Complete the quest and receive the inventory upgrade items.

*sigh*

Thinking about those, Claret just wanted to sigh.

There were no quests yet since this is only the closed beta and the NPCs hadn’t existed yet.

She could only take things one step at a time.

“Don’t be in such a hurry… Haste makes waste, Claret,” Claret reminded herself as she glanced out.

It was already close to 7 AM, but since today is Saturday, she didn’t have to go to work yet.

She should go to the hospital to check on her stepmother.

Claret actually didn’t want to pay a visit, but there were some things that she could try to take from the hospital.

Anyway, it was a private hospital funded by her father.

She didn’t feel any burden taking things from her father.

Before that…

Let’s eat breakfast.

Claret made her way to Walker Family Residence and saw that the amount of food prepared was very small.

It didn’t matter.

She devoured everything right before her phone rang.

Seeing the word ‘Father’ on the screen, Claret pursed her lips and slide the screen to answer.

“Claret!

Where the hell are you?

Come to the hospital right away and bring food for your mother and sister!”

“Why don’t you bring food for them on your own?” Claret asked, her tone was filled with annoyance.

“I’m busy and have other things to do.

You’re the only one who’s free, so you bring the food to them now.”

Tut!

The phone was cut off and Claret looked at her phone with sneer.

She glanced up and saw that the maidservants have long packed the food and put them on the table.

It was obvious that her father’s decision was not a new one but something he had made from a long time ago.

Very good.

Claret remained expressionless as she picked the bag and then headed to the car.

Anyway, there’s still a driver who will take her to the hospital, so she didn’t have to walk there.

‘Once I get there, I should…’

Lowering her eyes slightly, Claret silently calculated her move for when she arrived at the hospital later.
