Late at Midnight.
Nova opened her eyes. Her vision remained clear for only a brief fraction of a second before everything blurred completely. Reaching out her left hand, she blindly searched the nightstand until her fingertips brushed against the cold frame of her glasses. She slipped them on and looked beside her.
Sleeping soundly was Raymond, who was hugging her tightly as if afraid she would escape.
Nova gently pulled away, carefully sliding a plush pillow into his embrace to replace her warmth. Once free, she slipped out of bed and walked silently over to the massive wardrobe. Pulling the doors open, she paused in pleasant surprise. One entire side of the closet was stocked with beautiful, designer feminine clothes in various elegant styles—and every single piece was exclusively in shades of black and red.
"As expected of my perfect husband," she murmured, feeling proud. She picked out a fitted crimson mini dress and paired it with knee-high red socks. Moving toward the full-length mirror, she paused to check her reflection.
Staring at her reflection in the mirror, she noticed that Her extremely long, knee-length hair had been neatly trimmed to a perfect waist-length cut. She appears to be a little taller and extremely more beautiful.
"Mhm, not bad," she murmured, then stared blankly at her reflection. "Abigail’s boyfriend’s location," she thought. Instantly, the translucent blue screen materialized in the air right in front of her.

Ceassar Barracks-The Basement
Nova entered the dark basement chamber effortlessly, as if she owned the place. Sitting on the floor, motionless, was a black-haired man with perfect, beautiful black eyes that were wide open.
Seeing Nova, he was stunned, completely captivated by her beauty.
Nova stared back at him and gave a low smile. "I heard you are Abigail’s boyfriend," she stated calmly.
The man gulped nervously and shifted backward on his but, regaining his senses immediately. "What... what are you trying to do?" he stuttered.

Target information downloaded:
Name: George Zac
Age: 21
Status: Abigail’s boyfriend.
Affection rate for Abigail: 43%
Other mistresses: Total of 74. (Totally a playboy).
Family: Average rich young master.
Note: Abigail was 100% in love with him and his money.
Reading the details, Nova chuckled mischievously. "Nothing," she replied harmlessly. "I happened to pass by when you were knocked unconscious. I just want to offer a little help and rescue you," she added.
George’s eyes widened slightly in surprise, but his brows knitted immediately. "I don’t believe in such coincidences. What do you want from me?" he questioned suspiciously.
Nova chuckled. "I believe you are suspicious that Abigail was much more interested in your money than you, right?. Well.....I won’t be sneaky, but to let you know....she’s currently in the hospital—paralyzed and permanently blind," she replied.
"What!" George was stunned, the blood draining from his face.
Nova nodded in confirmation. "Actually, you look quite pitiful. Before the ’accident’ happened, she told me that after you both married, she would poison you slowly until you kicked the bucket, just so she could rightfully inherit all your properties. Though we are not that close she rather prefer me to do her dirty work which i don’t want to" She released a pitiful sigh.
"Unfortunately, she can’t even move from the hospital bed now. Of course, I wish her good health as soon as possible, but I couldn’t just watch another life slowly fade away once she got better. And.....i don’t want to be the tool of her dirty intensions, That’s why I’m informing you now—so you can keep yourself safe," she commented.
George’s eyes widened even more, his heart pounding harder and wilder. Looking at Nova’s beautiful, angelic face, he couldn’t bring himself to doubt a single word of hers.
"Who... who are you?" George murmured in a panicked tone.
Nova placed her slender fingertips over her lips, faking a surprised expression. "I knew it. She didn’t even mention me to you, nor did she show you my picture. How sad." Her expression filled with sadness. "I’m Abigail’s younger sister," she replied.
George was even more shocked. "She never mentioned that she had a younger sister. I’ve only seen her parents and her close friends," he murmured.
Nova sighed, her expression filled with pity and heartbreak. "I understand. I was never considered part of their family since I was young, so it’s not a complete surprise," she murmured. "You might not believe me, but I believe it’ll be easy for you to confirm the truth. I just pitied you and decided to inform you. It’s up to you to either prove your love for her and leave all your life’s hard work to her, or let her taste the weight of her intentions," she whispered.
George clenched his fists tightly. "I understand you," he replied, his eyes filled with rage. "Prove what love? What a joke" he thought, burning with rage.
A satisfied smile appeared on Nova’s lips. "You can leave now. I’ll find a way to hide your trail," she commented in a low voice.
George stared a little longer at Nova. "Thank you very much. I’ll definitely thank you personally once I’m done with my business," he promised.
Nova smiled lightly. "There’s no need. You owe me one; I’ll definitely come to you if I need your help," she replied flatly.
George nodded and immediately ran away through the entrance.
Nova chuckled darkly. "Don’t blame me, Abigail. I’m just not satisfied with the way you lay comfortably in the hospital with no one to make you sad. How will you feel when the man you love with your whole heart is completely corrupted by a few words from me and turns against you? I’m excited to see that." She chuckled and stepped out, staring at the round moon in the sky.
"I’m such a kind-hearted soul, aren’t I?" she whispered to the moon, laughing darkly. She jumped high over the tall fence and vanished into the dark night.
Morning
The morning sun sneaked inside the bedroom through the gap in the curtains, shining warmly on the peacefully sleeping couple tangled in the bedsheets.
Raymond’s head rested comfortably against Nova’s chest, his arms wrapped firmly around her waist. His green eyes slowly fluttered open. Seeing Nova sleeping soundly beneath him, he let out a long, contented sigh of relief.
Carefully, so as not to wake her, he climbed out of bed and tiptoed over to the windows. He drew the heavy curtains tightly shut, blocking the sunlight from disturbing Nova’s sleep.
He climbed back onto the bed and pressed a gentle kiss to her lips. "So beautiful," he whispered in his softest voice, giggling like a little child who had just received his favorite candy.
He immediately got out of bed and went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. Before long, breakfast was ready, and he arranged the food on a serving tray, taking it to the bedroom to try and wake Nova with the aroma.
He placed the tray on the nightstand and was about to climb onto the bed to wake her when his phone started vibrating.
His brows knitted together in slight irritation. Pulling the phone out, he walked over to the far side of the room near the window before answering.
"Boss, that George guy is missing!" an anxious voice sounded over the phone.
