【Harmony Plan - Ultimate Blueprint ( Incomplete Scroll )】
Beneath the massive title flowed a dense stream of information, cascading down like a waterfall. Judge Lu held his breath, focusing entirely on reading and comprehending the earth-shattering secrets contained within, secrets capable of overturning all his existing knowledge.
The information was not a coherent article but composed of vast amounts of experimental data, theoretical deductions, structural blueprints, and fragments of fanatical notes. Judge Lu struggled to piece together the full picture by combining it with the logs he had previously seen.
The so-called "Harmony Plan" had an ultimate goal that was not simply to manufacture some powerful "Law Weapon." The madmen in the Workshop harbored an ambition to—Reconstruct Reincarnation!
They believed the existing Reincarnation System was established by the Great Emperor of Fengdu upon some "flawed" Laws of Heaven and Earth, acting as a restraint on the freedom and evolution of Souls. They claimed to have discovered a much older, more fundamental unit of cosmic composition, which they termed the "Primordial Code." They believed that by analyzing and controlling the "Primordial Code," they could redefine the Laws of the Underworld Earth, much like writing a program, to create a "New World" where "all things are in harmony," free from hierarchy and restraint, dedicated only to "evolution" and "freedom"!
The "Moon-Erosion Demonic Pattern" was regarded by them as an extremely ancient "code fragment," close to the "Origin," containing the power of "decomposition" and "recombination." Their plan was to analyze the Moon-Erosion Demonic Pattern and attempt to "compile" and "fuse" it with the forcibly acquired fragments of the "Primordial Code" to create the "Source of Harmony"—something capable of "devouring" existing Laws and "rewriting" them into new ones!
"Zero Seven Nine" was the incomplete, out-of-control prototype of the "Source of Harmony" they accidentally created under this insane plan. It only inherited the "devouring" characteristic of the Moon-Erosion Demonic Pattern and the "polluting" characteristic of the Primordial Code, but it lacked the ability to perform orderly "rewriting," instead becoming a monster that only knew how to devour and destroy all orderly Energy.
The data also mentioned cooperation with the Northern Ghost Emperor Yongli. The Workshop coveted Yongli's ambition and the vast resources he could provide, while Yongli hoped to use the Workshop's power to obtain the ultimate weapon needed to subvert the rule of the Ten Yama Kings. They each sought what they needed, colluding wickedly.
The attack on the Well of Reincarnation was not a direct order from Yongli. It was the Workshop testing a "Boundary-Breaking Cone" developed based on the Moon Erosion Power, while simultaneously creating chaos to divert the attention of the Ten Halls, covering up some secret operations they were conducting in the direction of the Sea of Blood. Data fragments hinted that deeper within the Sea of Blood, an ancient Ruin closely connected to the "Primordial Code" might be hidden, and the true target of the Workshop and Yongli might lie there.
The information abruptly ended here, as this was merely an incomplete scroll. However, the content revealed was enough to make Judge Lu's Mind tremble and his body turn cold!
Reconstruct Reincarnation! Rewrite the Laws!
This was no longer a simple struggle for power; this was dragging the entire cosmos into unknown Chaos and Destruction! Whether it was the Northern Ghost Emperor's ambition or the Workshop's madness, it far exceeded his initial imagination!
He had to return to Fengdu immediately! He had to deliver this intelligence to King Qinguang at any cost! He had to stop them!
After nearly another month of difficult recovery, Judge Lu's injuries had finally stabilized somewhat. Although full recovery was still distant, he at least possessed basic self-preservation and travel capabilities. He could not wait any longer.
He left the few Elixirs remaining on him, which were beneficial to low-level wandering Souls, to the Little Ghost who had saved him, instructing him to continue hiding and tell no one that he had been seen. The Little Ghost nodded dumbly.
Bidding farewell to the Little Ghost, Judge Lu discerned the direction and began the arduous journey back toward the Fengdu Core Area.
To avoid possible searches and informants, he dared not take official roads or main thoroughfares, relying only on memory to traverse desolate mountains, wild lands, and the treacherous Styx River. The journey was long, and his injuries fluctuated, so his speed was not fast.
Ten days later, when he finally reached the outskirts of Fengdu, nearing the territory of Vicious Dog Ridge, he was utterly exhausted. Once he passed Vicious Dog Ridge and crossed "Golden Rooster Mountain," he would be able to see the city walls of Fengdu.
Vicious Dog Ridge, as its name suggested, was inhabited by countless ferocious Nether Hounds and malevolent Souls. They were extremely sensitive to the aura of Living Souls and highly aggressive, serving as a natural barrier leading to Fengdu. Even ordinary Ghost Officers escorting Souls through here had to proceed with extreme caution.
Judge Lu suppressed his aura, preparing to pass through quickly. However, shortly after stepping into the Vicious Dog Ridge area, a strong sense of crisis suddenly struck him!
"Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!"
Several dark shadows exuding dense Baleful Qi shot out like Ghostly Phantoms from behind the mountain rocks and out of the withered woods on both sides, instantly surrounding him! These shadows were not Nether Hounds, but—Ghost Soldiers clad in standard Northern Border Army soul armor, their faces stern! The one leading them possessed a formidable aura, reaching the Ghost General Rank!
They had clearly been lying in ambush for a long time!
"Judge Lu, we have been waiting for you for a long time," the Ghost General said with a mocking smile, like a cat playing with a mouse. "His Majesty requests your presence; please accompany us."
Judge Lu's heart sank to the bottom. He had been discovered after all! Moreover, the opponent had directly deployed regular forces from the Northern Border Army to intercept him here. What did this imply? Did it mean the Northern Ghost Emperor was practically dropping all pretense? Or had some drastic change occurred within Fengdu?
He gripped the Judge's Brush and the Data Crystal hidden in his sleeve, looking at the surrounding Ghost Soldiers of the Northern Border Army, all radiating intense Baleful Qi and clearly being elites, a bitter smile touched his lips.
Having just escaped the tiger's jaws, he had fallen into the wolf's den. This return journey was indeed fraught with deadly peril.
