In the entryway, shoes lay overturned—white women’s sneakers and black leather shoes tangled on the floor. A suitcase lay open in the living room, still unpacked.

A trail of scattered items—a suit jacket, a tie, a bra—led from the living room to the bedroom. The bedroom door was closed, but it couldn’t contain the passionate scene inside.

A deep, seductive male voice mingled with a soft, alluring female voice, like a captivating cello melody that stirred the imagination.Full novel: Teasing: Acting Cute in President Fu’s Arms — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“Fu Cheng Shen, slow down… I can’t take it anymore…”

“Alright, as you wish.”

“Brother, I’m so tired.”

“Yan Er, it’ll be over soon.”

“…”

The curtains in the room were drawn, but slivers of light seeped through the gaps, spilling onto the floor.

A scented diffuser sat on the bedside table, filling the room with the faint, sweet fragrance of freesia, masking the lingering scent of yesterday’s intimacy.

A phone kept vibrating, disturbing the sleeping beauty still lost in her dreams. She pulled the blanket over her head, trying to block out the noise, and after a while, it finally stopped.

But the peace lasted only a moment before the phone rang again. The sleeping beauty grumbled impatiently, groping for the phone with her eyes still closed.

“Hello.”

“Su Luoyan, you’re back in the country and didn’t even tell me? Where are you right now?”

“I’m at home!”

“I’m standing right outside your door. I’ve been ringing the doorbell for ages, and no one’s answering.” A friend had told her yesterday that they’d run into Su Luoyan at the airport and even exchanged greetings. Eager to catch up, she’d rushed over to her best friend’s place, hoping to plan a day out, only to find the place completely empty—not even a mosquito in sight.

Su Luoyan jolted awake, sitting up abruptly and running a hand through her tousled hair.

In your brother’s bed.

Of course, she didn’t dare say that out loud. After all, no one in the Fu family knew about their relationship. Sometimes, even Su Luoyan herself wasn’t entirely sure what they were to each other.

Muttering a silent “sorry” in her heart, she began to lie.

“I was half-asleep and thought I was still abroad! I was so exhausted yesterday that I didn’t feel like tidying up, so I just stayed at a hotel. I’ll head back soon.”

Fu Siqi joked, “I thought maybe you’d come back last night and immediately run off with some wild man.”

“…” Su Luoyan bit her lip. She’d actually guessed right.

She laughed awkwardly. “How could that be? You know I’m all alone.” Quickly changing the subject, she added, “Speaking of which, how are things with your student council president?”

Fu Siqi had fallen for the student council president at first sight during freshman orientation when he helped her with her luggage. She’d even joined the student council just to be closer to him. But it had been a while since Su Luoyan had heard her mention him.

“We broke up. I’m so mad.”

“Huh?” When did they even get together? Su Luoyan’s mind was filled with question marks—she hadn’t heard a thing about this from Fu Siqi.

“What happened? Who would dare dump our Miss Fu?”

Fu Siqi’s voice was filled with gnashing of teeth, her anger palpable even through the phone. “We weren’t even together for three months before he cheated. I dumped him first.”

“My condolences.”

After all, a man who two-timed was as good as dead.

“Don’t worry, I’m a Fu. I ordered a giant funeral wreath and had it delivered to the student council office. I even told the delivery guy to make sure he personally accepted it. Oh, and I had him record a video of it—it was hilarious.””Hahahaha, that really does sound like something your Fu family would do.” Su Luoyan’s laughter came in waves.

“To celebrate my return to singlehood, let’s go drink at Brother Lin’s bar tonight.”

“See you tonight.”

After hanging up, Su Luoyan tried to sit up, but her whole body felt sore and weak, her legs as if they had lost all sensation.

Grabbing a nearby pillow, she imagined it was Fu Cheng Shen and gave it a few hard punches, finally venting her anger.

She remembered clearly from yesterday—no matter how much she pleaded, the man remained unmoved. Her legs slipped weakly from his shoulders, only to be pulled back again. Their sweat mingled together, indistinguishable from one another. Later, he carried her to the bathroom, where he still didn’t let her off, and she only recalled being carried out of the bathtub in the end.

Su Luoyan found the curtain remote, and the curtains slowly opened. Sunlight streamed in from outside, and she raised a hand to shield her eyes.

Her phone vibrated twice. She tapped to open it.

Fu Cheng Shen: “Are you up yet?”

Su Luoyan snorted coldly twice, not wanting to pay any attention to this dog of a man. She tossed her phone onto the bed, only to notice that the sheets had been changed at some point.

The room had also been tidied up. The clothes that had been scattered on the floor yesterday were gone, though she had no idea when it had been cleaned.

Thinking of this, her anger subsided a little. Picking up her phone from the bed, she walked toward the bathroom while making a call.

Su Luoyan was wearing only a silk slip nightgown that barely reached her thighs. As she walked, the hem swayed slightly, unable to conceal her graceful figure. Her face was flushed, bearing the look of someone who had been thoroughly cherished.
