The next morning, Leon woke up, cleaned up, and devoured a massive breakfast feast before heading out.

He climbed into his car and drove straight toward his new, temporary base of operations: the house he had secured.

‘I’ll have to skip school today,’ Leon thought.Full novel: TEEN WOLF: HOMELANDER TEMPLATE IN THE MULTIVERSE — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

He had already called the school administration to let them know he was sick and wouldn’t be attending.

Because his parents completely left his academic affairs up to him, the receptionist on the other end had no choice but to take him at his word, simply noting down that she would inform his parents later.

The moment Leon stepped through the front door of the house, Kate was already there waiting for him.

“Good morning, master!” She purred, gliding up to him.

She leaned in, pressing a deep, lingering kiss to his lips that instantly made his basic instincts stir.

He quickly reined in the sudden rush of lust, keeping his focus on the task at hand.

“Is everything ready?” he asked, his voice steady.

“Yes.

The boys are keeping tabs on our little Ghoul family,” she explained, her playful demeanor shifting into something more clinical.

“Ever since their son vanished, they’ve been extremely volatile.

Their hunting grounds have expanded, and they even dared to snatch a resident right out of Beacon Hills.

Before this, they used to hunt far outside the town lines and bring their prey back, but now they don’t seem to care about keeping a low profile anymore.”

A look of genuine disgust crossed Kate’s face.

“Creatures like that should be put down in the most painful way possible.

We need to make an example out of them for any other monsters lurking around.”

Leon completely ignored her bloodthirsty comment.

“When do we move?”

“The second we get the signal that they’ve left for their butchering warehouse,” Kate replied, a sharp, cold smile returning to her lips.

“We’ll ambush them inside and rid this world of those pests once and for all.”

“Good,” Leon nodded, satisfied with the strategy.

“But until then…” Kate’s smile turned predatory again.

She began stepping toward him, her hips swinging rhythmically with every step she took.

“How about I help you pass the time, master?”

***

Ring!

“Yes!” Kate tapped Leon as she sat up, her chest naked.

She answered the call, listening for a few seconds before replying, “Alright, we’ll be on our way.”

“Is it time?” Leon asked with a satisfied smile..

“Yes, Master.” Kate leaned over and pressed a kiss to his neck.

“We need to go.”

“Alright, that’s enough.” Leon gently pushed her face away and rose to his feet.

His body caught the morning sunlight, giving him the appearance of a finely sculpted Greek statue.

“Let’s move.”

Kate and a group of hunters remained hidden inside the warehouse.

Several of them kept stealing glances at the masked man who had arrived with them — the same man Kate followed with unquestioning obedience.

The roar of an engine shattered the silence as an SUV pulled up in front of the warehouse.

The Ghoul couple climbed out, retrieved something from the trunk, and carried it toward the entrance.

Keys jingled, and the large warehouse door creaked open just wide enough for them to slip inside.

Click.

A sharp metallic sound echoed through the building.

An instant later, a thermal bomb detonated, engulfing the couple in flames hot enough to melt steel.

Their choked screams pierced the silence.

“ARGHGHGH!”

Joshua had looked like an ordinary store manager — a harmless, unremarkable man.

But as the flames blackened his body, his true form emerged.

An adult Ghoul was nothing like the Juvenile Logan.

Joshua’s body swelled to nearly twice Logan’s size.

A pair of horns burst from his head as thick plates of bone spread across his body.

Wherever the fire consumed his flesh, raw ulcers formed almost as quickly as they healed.

His regenerative abilities fought desperately against the inferno, but they couldn’t keep pace with the relentless damage the searing flames inflicted.

BAM!

BAM!

BAM!

Bullets rained down on the two figures as they struggled to escape the inferno, forcing them back into the flames.

The couple had shed every trace of their human appearance.

They now resembled towering, undead felines, their glowing eyes, jagged fangs, and elongated claws forming a nightmarish sight.

BAM!

BAM!

Leon and the hunters kept firing, determined to finish the creatures before the flames died out.

Judging by the way the Ghouls staggered under the relentless barrage, the assault was working.

Every round they fired was incendiary, feeding even more fire into an inferno that was already consuming them.

Leon almost couldn’t believe how smoothly everything had gone.

Two familiar notifications appeared before his eyes.

Leon’s gaze shifted to the final remaining target.

He gave Kate a subtle signal, and the team split up.

Most of the hunters stayed behind to clean up the scene, while Leon, Kate, and a handful of others headed toward their last objective — Noah, the only surviving Juvenile Ghoul.

A couple of hours later…

“God damn…”

Leon stared at the notifications in disbelief.

For the first time, his Supernatural Energy had surpassed one thousand.

A surge of excitement raced through him.

Without a moment’s hesitation, he poured every last point into increasing his Template completion.

Strength surged through his muscles, every vein seeming to pulse with newfound power as the familiar wave of euphoria spread from head to toe.

Leon’s excitement flared as he glanced at Kate.

At his nod, the two of them left the cleanup to the rest of the team and drove toward an abandoned building on the outskirts of town.

“This is where society’s cockroaches like to gather,” Kate said, pointing toward a group of people huddled together, injecting suspicious substances into their arms.

“Look!”

A young man spotted them stepping out of the expensive car, and every head turned in their direction.

“A hot blonde and a nice ride.” A heavily built man rose to his feet with a grin.

“Michael will pay good money for the car…

and the blonde’s mine tonight.”

With those few words, he unknowingly sealed the fate of everyone standing around him.

“Kate,” Leon said calmly, “don’t kill any before they ingest the blood.”

“Understood, Master.”

The next thing the addicts saw was a blur.

Pain consumed their senses.

Leon moved through the crowd with impossible speed, forcing a vial of vampire blood down each person’s throat while Kate efficiently broke their necks one after another.

Moments later, they began to awaken.

Leon had left blood bags beside each of them, and they tore into them like starving animals.

Then he moved.

BAM.

BAM.

BAM.

The instant someone finished a blood bag, a stake appeared in their chests.

One after another, their hearts exploded before they could even process what was happening.

“And just like that…” Leon glanced around at the corpses before checking his status.

“I’m almost back to four digits.”

He retrieved the blood-extraction equipment and handed it to Kate.

While she began harvesting the vampire blood from each corpse, Leon turned his attention back to the system.

The moment the new ability unlocked, a flood of instinctive knowledge poured into Leon’s mind, teaching him how to use it.

He focused.

The world transformed.

Walls seemed to peel away before his eyes, revealing everything hidden a few cm beyond them.

Thin barriers became almost transparent, while thicker structures remained opaque, their density exceeding the current limits of his new vision.

He instinctively understood that further upgrades would allow him to see through increasingly solid materials.

“I’m close to a Beta Werewolf level now,” Leon said with a satisfied smile.

“It’s time to pick a mission from the Multiverse Mission Board.”

The sky was dark, a moon hung in the abyss of it, and a pair of headlights lit Beacon Hills High.

Scott, Stiles, and Derek climbed out of their cars and Scott and Stiles headed toward the school, while Derek looked at them, confused.

“What are you doing?” he asked.

“You said I was linked to the Alpha.” Scott glanced back.

“I’m going to see if you’re right.”

Just then, Leon pulled into the parking lot.

He watched the two disappear into the school and immediately recognized the scene.

‘This is where the Alpha messes with them before letting them go,’ he thought.

‘Should I even get involved?’

The Alpha’s stats were nearly twice those of a Beta Werewolf.

Leon had no intention of gambling with his life.

Worse, if the Alpha discovered he hadn’t been turned naturally, there was no telling what he might do.

It simply wasn’t a risk worth taking.

‘…They did call me and ask me to come.’

Leon glanced at his phone, sighed, and stepped out of the car.

As he approached Derek—

MEOWWW!

Scott’s pitiful attempt at a roar echoed through the school’s speakers.

Leon couldn’t help but laugh.

Derek looked over at him and shook his head.

“You hear that?”

Before Leon could answer, another roar blasted through the speakers.

This one was completely different.

The entire school trembled.

Windows cracked and walls shook.

Leon’s ears rang painfully as the deafening sound washed over the parking lot.

A few moments later, Scott and Stiles emerged from the school.

“I’m gonna kill both of you,” Derek growled, pointing at them.

“What the hell was that?

Are you trying to attract every supernatural creature in the state?”

“Sorry.” Scott rubbed the back of his neck.

“I didn’t think it’d be that loud.”

“…and it was awesome!”

“Shut up.”

“Oh, don’t be such a sour wolf.” Stiles smirked before looking at Leon, who was leaning against his car, quietly amused by the exchange.

“Right, Leon?”

“It already happened.” Leon shrugged.

“Arguing about it won’t help.

And If the Alpha heard that, this isn’t the place to stand around.”

“Exactly!” Stiles said.

Scott suddenly frowned.

“What’d you do with him?”

“What?” Derek blinked.

“The body.”

Derek glanced into the back seat of his car, and Deaton was no longer there, vanishing without them noticing.

“I didn’t do anything.”

WHOOSH!

Something exploded out of the darkness behind him, a large silhouette with glowing red eyes and fangs that reflected the moon’s light.

The Alpha.

Its claws slashed toward Derek’s back—

BOOM!

A high-powered shotgun thundered across the parking lot.

The Alpha was blasted backward, Leon saw no blood even appear on its chest as the massive creature crashed across the pavement before rolling to a stop.

It slowly lifted its head.

Its furious gaze locked onto Leon.

For an instant, Leon felt as though an entire mountain had been dropped onto his shoulders.

The pressure was suffocating.

His instincts screamed at him to run.

So he did.

Without a second thought, Leon spun around and sprinted after the others, barely noticing the system notification that flashed across his vision about saving Derek.

[Current SE: 27 → 77]

SLAM!

The four of them threw themselves through the school’s entrance and shoved the doors shut.

Leon scooped up the bolt cutters Stiles had dropped and tossed them back to him.

Stiles immediately wrapped the chain around the handles and secured the doors.

A heartbeat later—

BOOM!

The Alpha slammed into the entrance.

The impact hurled all four of them backward.

They crashed onto the floor, bracing for another strike that would rip the doors from their hinges.

Instead…

Silence.

Scott slowly looked toward the entrance.

“That won’t hold…

will it?”

“Probably not.”

AWWWOOOOO!

A few seconds later, a deafening howl echoed somewhere deep inside the school.

Nobody needed to say another word.

The four of them bolted into the nearest classroom, slammed the door shut, locked it, and shoved a heavy teacher’s desk against it.

“Stop,” Derek said.

“That door isn’t going to keep it out.”

“I know,” Scott muttered.

“It’s your boss,” Stiles said suddenly.

Scott blinked.

“Deaton.

He’s the Alpha.”

“No.”

“Yes!

Murderous psycho werewolf.” Stiles pointed toward Scott.

“Come on.

He disappears, then that thing shows up ten seconds later and attacks Derek.

That’s not suspicious timing?”

Derek frowned.

“…He might be right.”

Scott shook his head.

“That can’t—”

“We’ll figure it out later,” Leon interrupted.

“First we need to survive.”

“…Okay.” Scott exhaled.

“So what do we do?”

“We get in my Jeep, drive out of here, and then you seriously consider quitting your job.”

“Your Jeep isn’t going anywhere,” Derek said as he looked out the window.

“What?

Why?” Stiles rushed over.

Leon peeked outside.

“…It looks even worse than usual –.”

“What?

Like dented?”

“No.” Leon slowly shook his head.

“Bent.”

“What the hell…?”

CRASH!

Something smashed through the classroom window, spraying glass across the floor as it slammed in front of them.

“…That’s my battery.”

Stiles stared in disbelief as everyone instinctively ducked behind the wall.

A second object came hurtling through the broken window, smashing into rows of desks, toppling them all down.

Leon narrowed his eyes.

“…Is that my car door?”

‘I thought only Stiles’ battery got thrown…

why’s my car getting ripped apart this time?’

BANG!

Another battery crashed into the room.

Then a steering wheel.

Then a bumper.

Then more pieces of twisted metal came flying through the shattered window one after another.

“What the fuck?!” Stiles shouted.

He turned toward Leon.

A hint of sympathy appeared on his face.

“…Is that all from your car?”

“…Yeah.” Leon sighed, watching another chunk of metal skid across the classroom floor.

“I think he’s pissed.”
