[Lacrosse field]

“Let’s gooo, One-on-One drills from up top.

Jackson, take a long stick today.” Coach began practice with one-on-one drills.Full novel: Teen Wolf : The Progenitor — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

This should be good.

Jackson took a long stick and went in front of the goalie to play defense.

One by one, he stopped most of the players from attempting a shot.

Coach even made Greenberg take a lap for just fumbling the ball.

Then it was Scott’s turn.

But he was still in a daze from the whole “Hunter dad” drama.

PHWEEE

“McCall, what’re you waitin for?

Let’s go.” Scott started his run more like a granny jog, if I’m being honest.

Only to be tackled to the ground by Jackson.

‘That definitely hurt.’ Stiles thought.

“Hey McCall, McCall.” Coach said, approaching Scott.

“You sure you still wanna be first line, McCall?” Jackson said with a smirk, walking back to his position.

“My-My grandmother can move faster than that, and she’s dead.

You think you can move faster than the…

Lifeless corps of my dead grandmother?” Finstock asked after his questionable version of a pep talk.

“Yes, Coach.” his eyes glowed as he looked at Jackson.

“I can’t hear you.”

“YES, COACH!”

“Then do it again,” Finstock said.

I went to grab my phone from my bag cause there is no way I’m missing this golden revenge moment.

“McCall’s gonna do it again.” Coach announced.

Scott got back into the front of the line, facing Jackson, ready to go.

‘Yeahhh, he’s totally pissed.’ I thought, holding up my phone to record.

Coach blew the whistle, and Scott went running off and returned the favor to Jackson by tackling him to the ground, breaking his shoulder.

Scott grabbed his head, feeling that he was about to change.

“Ohh shit, Scott, Scott, you ok?” Stiles ran to him.

“I can’t control it, Stiles.

It’s happening.” Scott’s fangs started growing.

“Wait, now!” Stiles took him to the locker room, keeping his head down so no one could see.

I decided to follow them cause I genuinely gave zero fucks about Jackson being injured.

Shit, I wish I was the one who did it.

Walking to the locker room, I noticed Derek watching from the bleachers.

In the Locker room, Scott took off his gloves and lost control, eyes glowing, fangs bared at Stiles.

ROOOAAAAARRR

He jumped on top of the lockers.

Stiles retreated and grabbed a fire extinguisher, which sadly was empty.

Scott jumped from the top.

I walked in from behind Stiles and caught him by the neck.

“Scott, calm down, you’re not you right now.

You need to calm down.” I tried using a non-violent way.

He couldn’t hear me and swung at me with his claws, trying to break free.

‘I did try to reason with him, plus this counts as self-defence.’ I thought to myself.

Then I pulled off his helmet and proceeded to “Lightly” punch him in the face, knocking him out.

“Stiles, you can come in now.” Stiles entered, holding onto the fire extinguisher for dear life.

“Wha-what did you do to him?” he asked, pointing the extinguisher at me.

“What?

It was self-defence; he was swinging at me with those deadly things.” I said in defence.

” Is he dead?” He asked, looking at Scott.

“Nope, just knocked him out; he’ll wake in a few seconds.”

“Ughhh, what happened?” Scott woke up.

“See told you.

Not dead.” I looked at Stiles.

“You just tried to kill Stiles, so I had to knock you out,” I answered Scott.

“What?

You couldn’t do anything like, I don’t know, talking me out of it.”

“He tried that already, failed miserably,” Stiles chimed in.

“Plus, you were swinging your claws at me, so it counts as self-defence,” I added.

Stiles put the extinguisher down and sat in front of Scott.

“I told Scott it’s your anger, your pulse rising; it’s a trigger.” He said, reminding Scott.

“But that’s lacrosse; it’s a pretty violent gam if you haven’t noticed?” Scott answered.

“Well, it’s about to be more violent if you end up killing someone on the field.

You can’t play saturday your gonna have to get out of the game.” Stiles said.

“But I’m on first line.”

“Not anymore,” Stiles replied, feeling sympathy for his friend.

[Scott’s House]

Scott got into his room, put his bag on the floor, and plopped onto his bed.

A knock came from his door; his mom, Melissa McCall, came to check up on him.

“Hey, late shift again for me,” She said.

“Mmm,” Scott said, his face in his bed.

“But I am taking Saturday off to see your first game.” She said, smiling, looking forward to seeing her son play.

“Mmm No mom you can’t,” Scott said, trying to stop her.

“Why not?

I can and I will c’mon one shift isn’t gonna break us…

Completely.” She hesitantly said, looking around the room, then at Scott with a worried gaze.

“Hey, what’s wrong with your eyes?” She asked him

Scott heard her question, thinking his eyes were glowing; he quickly got up.

“You look like you haven’t slept in days.” She continued.

“Ohh uhh it’s nothing I’m just….

stressed.” He faked an answer.

“Just stressed?

Nothing else?” she asked

“Homework.”

“Hah, I mean it’s not like you’re on drugs or something.” She jokingly said.

“Right now?” he asked.

“Right now?!” She repeated with a distressed look on her face.

“I’m sorry, what do you mean ‘right now’?

I mean, have you ever taken drugs?” Her paternal instincts kicked in.

“Have you?” He returned the question.

She thought for a second, then decided not to answer.

“Get some sleep.” She went out the door.

Scott slumped back on his bed, hoping things could just go back to normal, then his laptop rang out.

He opened it and saw it was Stiles calling him on FaceTime.

Stiles pulled out a toy gun and pointed it at Scott, making Star Wars sound effects.

“So, what did you find out?” Scott asked, looking mentally worn out.

“Well, it’s bad.

Jackson’s got a separated Shoulder.” Stiles answered.

“Because of me?” Scott asked.

“Because he’s a tool,” Stiles remarked.

“But is he gonna play?”

“Ohh, they don’t know yet; now they’re just counting on you and Malcolm for Saturday,” Stiles answered.

Scott sighed deeply, deflating his spirit.

Stiles looked closer at his monitor and saw a figure standing behind Scott in his room.

Scott looked at him, wondering what got him worried.

“What?” Scott asked.

Stiles looked at him with worry written all over his face.

Then typed,{It looks like} but his computer froze.

“It looks like what?” Scott said, waiting for the message to load.

“C’mon dammit.” He muttered.

Then the next message came in.

{Someone’s behind you}

Scott looked worried and loaded his screen time and saw someone indeed inside his room behind him.

He grabbed Scott and pushed him against the wall.

“I saw you on the field,” Derek said, putting his arm on his neck.

“Wha-what are you talking about-”

“You shifted in front of them.

If they find out what you are, they’ll find out about me, about all of us.

And it’s not just the hunters after us; it’s everyone.” Derek said.

Malcolm walked up behind Derek and pulled him off of Scott.

“And you breaking into his house when he’s alone won’t make your case any more compelling now, will it?” I said, looking at Derek.

“Stay out of it; this has nothing to do with you.” Derek glared at me.

“Ohh, I think it does.” My eyes glowed red.

“What are you doing here?” Scott asked me, looking scared, shocked, and surprised.

“Making sure he doesn’t try anything stupid,” I said, looking at Scott.

“Listen to me, Derek.

You’ve been gone from Beacon Hills a long time now.

This isn’t the Hales’ territory anymore.” Without any remorse, I told him.

He started clenching his fists and glaring at me.

“Leave my family out of this, or else,” he tried intimidating me with his werewolf voice.

‘You wanna play it like that?

Fine, let’s see if you can handle this.’I thought as I released my Alpha’s Aura, Dominant and fierce.

Derek felt the full force of it, and he looked visibly intimidated by it.

I was done playing nice with him; if he couldn’t listen to reason, then I’ll force him to listen.

“Don’t mistake my lenience for weakness.

He got bitten by a rogue Alpha less than 5 days ago, and you trying to intimidate him isn’t gonna fix shit.” I pointed toward Scott, who was watching the whole thing unfold.

My eyes glowed more intensely, and I used my alpha voice.

“This is my territory now, so don’t run around like this is a damn playground.” My voice left no room for tolerance.

“And if you even think of doing something like this again, I’ll kill you myself.” Pulling back my Aura, I pointed at the window for him to leave.

After Derek left, I looked at Scott sitting on the ground.

“Listen, Scott, I can help you learn control before Saturday’s game, but it won’t be easy.” He looked at me with eyes filled with hope.

“H-how?

Why didn’t you tell me before?” he asked.

“You didn’t ask.” I simply replied.

“Whatever, just teach me.

I’ll do anything.” Scott said.

“Deal, just make sure you’re mentally prepared for it.” An evil smile came across my face.

END OF CHAPTER

I’m really thinking of turning Stiles.

What do you guys think: yes or no?

Stay safe wherever you are, and may God protect you from any evil.
