[Scott’s House]

Stiles opened the door and bolted, making his way to Scott’s room like his life depended on it.

He burst into the room.Full novel: Teen Wolf : The Progenitor — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“What did you find?

How did you find it?

Where did you find it, and yes, I’ve had a lot of adderall.” Stiles, the ball of uncontrollable and unfiltered energy, asked Scott.

“I found something at Derek Hale’s,” Scott replied.

“Are you kidding me?

Like, what?”

“There’s something buried there.

I could smell blood.” Scott said while fixing his lacrosse stick.

“That’s awesome-I mean, that’s terrible.

Who’s blood?” Stiles corrected his questionable statement.

“I don’t know, but when we do, your dad nails Derek for the murder.” Scott threw his stick to the side.

[Beacon Hills Hospital] [Nighttime]

Scott and Stiles walk into the hospital and look around to find the morgue.

Stiles sees a sign pointing towards where the ER is, and beneath it shows the Morgue.

Stiles nudges Scott and points towards the sign, “Hey.”

“Got it.” Scott snuck his way in and headed towards the morgue.

Stiles, on the other hand, went to the reception desk and noticed Lydia, “Oh my God,” he muttered under his breath.

He walked towards her, trying to act all nonchalant and tried striking up a conversation with her.

“Hey, Lydia, you probably don’t remember me.

I sit behind you in biology…uhh anyway always thought that we had this kinda connection, y’know, unspoken of course.

Maybe it’d be kinda cool to get to know each other and-” Stiles literally just confessed in a hospital to his childhood crush.

“Yeah, hold on, give me a sec.” She pulled out an earpiece and proceeded to say, “Yeah, sorry I didn’t catch anything of what you just said.

Was it anything important?”

“Uhum, no, sorry.” Stiles sat on the bench around the corner away from Lydia and grabbed a book to distract himself.

Meanwhile, Scott was walking in the hallway, making his way to the morgue.

He looked around and tried to avoid getting caught.

He entered the morgue and quickly closed the door.

Inside the morgue, he made his way to where the bodies were stored.

He looked through the names and saw one that read, “JAN DOE-PARTIAL Police Evidence Do Not Tamper.” He reached for the handle and opened it, his breathing uneven and shaking.

He pulled out the Sliding drawer tray carrying the separated lower body of a female.

His fear was visible; he opened the cover, revealing the feet with a tag attached to the left foot.

He then quickly put the body back in the freezer unit and closed it.

Scott headed towards the door to leave, only to meet Gloria, who was leaning against the door frame and had crimson eyes glowing.

“Care to explain why you’re in a restricted area?” She asked.

“Crap,” Scott muttered under his breath.

Jackson walked out after getting a checkup on his shoulder.

He went to Lydia, waiting for him.

They had a conversation about his injury, which somehow led to them lip smacking IN THE F*CKING HOSPITAL.

(Author resisting the urge to kill these two)🙂😇

The two left after grossing the ever-living hell out of Stiles.

Gloria suddenly appeared with Scott and took the mini book Stiles wasn’t even reading and gave them an angry look.

Grabbing both by the ear dragging them out into the parking lot.

“Now, mind explaining why you two were snooping around the morgue?” She let go of their now red ears.

“W-we were just doing a school project,” Stiles said, trying to hide the truth.

“I’m going to let this one slide, especially for your sake, Scott.

You know your mom works here; if you had been found by someone else, this would’ve caused a lot of trouble for both of you.” Gloria looked at both of them.

“Go and don’t let me catch you doing something this stupid again.” She waved them away and walked back into the hospital.

They got into Stiles’ Jeep.

“Aaaahh dude, she nearly ripped my ear off.” Stiles rubbed his right ear.

“Who was she anyway?” Stiles asked, trying to ease the pain in his ear.

“She’s Malcolm’s mom, and she’s also a werewolf just like him.” Stiles turned and looked at him like he had just spoken the most taboo thing on earth.

“I’m sorry WHAT!?” Stiles was lying in the car seat, trying to process what he just heard.

“And you’re now just telling me this NOW.

Forget it.

Did you find what you were looking for?” Stiles pushed the topic to the side, focusing on their objective.

“Yeah, the scent was the same as the one at Derek’s place,” Scott replied.

“Wait, you sure?” Stiles sat up.

“Yes.” They sat there for a second in silence.

” *Sigh* So he did bury the other half of the body on his property.” Stiles broke the silence.

Scott followed by saying, “Which means we have to prove he killed the girl.”

“I say we use it,” Stiles said.

“How?” Scott asked

“Tell me something first: are you doing this because you wanna stop Derek or because you want to stay with Olivia and he said you couldn’t?” He asked Scott with a serious look.

“There were bite marks on the lady; Stiles, bite marks,” Scott replied.

“Ok, then we’re gonna need shovels.” Stiles started the Jeep and drove off.

[Old Hale House]

Derek was just getting into his Black Camaro and drove off; the Stiles’ Jeep came out from the trees, parking near the Hale house.

Stiles and Scott got out with Shovels and a Flashlight in Hand.

“Wait Somethings different,” Scott said as they were walking toward where Scott smelled the other half of the body.

Stiles was flashing the light around, making sure the coast was clear.

“Different how?”

“I don’t know,” Scott said, unsure.

They walked up to the burial place.

“Let’s just get this over with.”

They started digging; it took them over an hour regardless of their numbers.

“This is taking way too long.

What if he comes back?” Scott said.

“Then we get the Hell outta here,” Stiles replied.

“What if he catches us?”

“I have a plan for that.”

“Which is?”

Stiles stopped digging and said, “You run one way, I run the other way.

Whoever he catches first, too bad.” He then got back to digging.

“I hate that plan,” Scott replied.

As Stiles was digging, he hit something that wasn’t dirt.

“Stop, stop, stop.” He hit it again to make sure.

They found a sack tied with multiple knots in the ropes.

They started untying them.

Once they finished untying them, they opened the sack and saw the top half of a dead wolf.

“”AAAAAAHHHHH””

Panicked, they both jumped out of the hole they dug.

“What the hell is that?” Stiles yelled.

“It’s a wolf,” Scott replied.

“Yeah, I can see that.

I thought you said you smelled blood, as in human blood.”

“Told you something was different,” Scott said.

Stiles was trying to figure out what the hell was going on.

“This doesn’t make any sense.”

“We gotta get outta here”

“Yeah, ok help me bury this.” Stiles saw a flower planted not too far from them when he grabbed his shovel.

Scott noticed Stiles’ pause, “What’s wrong?”

“You see that flower?” Stiles pointed towards it.

“What about it?” Scott asked.

“I think it’s wolfsbane,” Stiles replied.

Scott, confused, asked, “What’s that?”

“Haven’t you ever seen the wolfman?” Stiles asked.

Scott shook his head in disagreement.

Then Stiles proceeded to name characters from the movie, but to no surprise, Scott didn’t know any of them.

“The original Werewolf Movie?” Stiles asked.

“NO, what?” Scott said, slightly irritated.

Stiles, disappointed that Scott had no knowledge whatsoever about werewolves, shook his head in disapproval.

“You are so unprepared for this.”

Stiles then walked over to the wolfbane, pulled it out, and found it was tied to a rope.

He started to pull out the rope and followed its path while Scott watched in confusion.

As Stiles was pulling on the rope, A glowing red light appeared and drew the shape of a single spiral around them.

Scott’s gaze shifted towards the wolf’s dead body, and he was surprised and called over Stiles, “Stiles.”

Stiles walked over, stood beside him, and looked at the now-dead body of Laura Hale where the wolf had been.

“Wow.”

They stood in silence, looking at the dead body, confused.
