[Malcolm’s House]
Morning had just hit, and Malcolm woke up feeling happy and energetic.
He hopped into the Shower to get ready for school.
After grabbing his bag, he went downstairs and found his mother making breakfast and dancing with a smile.
“Guess I’m not the only one who woke up in a good mood today, huh.” He said, sitting down at the table.
“How could I not be happy?
I have a mate, and she’s so wonderful, adorable, and you found yours as well.
Today is just a wonderful day, mijo; we’ve both been blessed with amazing soulmates.”
Her joy was overflowing as if she’d taken her first breath of fresh air.
She sat at the table after making heart-shaped eggs and bacon with happy face coffee.
The two enjoyed breakfast and enjoyed the morning sun.
After finishing breakfast, they headed out in their cars to fetch their soulmates.
Malcolm took the Skyline while Gloria took the Audi R8.
[Malcolm POV]
Malcolm made his way to the Argent’s house to pick up his girlfriend.
Pulling his car into the front of the house, he used his super sight and looked into her window and saw her packing her books into her bag.
Then pulls out his phone and texted her.
Malcolm: {Good Morning, Mi Amor}
Allison: {Morning Babe}
Malcolm: {Babe?
Ohh, I like that}
Allison: {🥰 Good cause you’re mine now}
Malcolm: {Your Damn right.}
Malcolm: {I’m outside your house, look through the window}
Allison looks through her window and sees Malcolm waving at her with a smile.
She smiles and waves back.
Malcolm: {Don’t keep me waiting too long; I miss you more by the second.}
Allison: {I just realized I forgot to do my hair; it’ll take 20 minutes.}
Malcolm: { Don’t make me come and drag you out myself.}
Allison: {😄 I’ll be down in a sec; be patient.}
A few seconds go by, then Allison comes out the front door, and Malcolm is waiting outside his car for her.
“You’re 7 seconds late.” Malcolm hugs her and kisses her.
“You were actually counting?” Allison laughs and kisses him back.
“I just lost 7 seconds of Allison time.
This is valuable time ok.”
“You’re unbelievable.
Let’s head to school before we’re late.” Allison said.
Malcolm opened the door for her, then went to the driver’s seat and started the car.
They put on their seatbelts, and off they went.
When they reached a red light, a black Porsche pulled up beside them.
It was Jackson and Lydia.
Lydia and Allison waved at each other, but Jackson revved the Porsche in a challenge to Malcolm.
Malcolm responded with a rev of his own twin-turbo engine.
They both focused on the street light and waited for it to turn red, signaling them to go.
The two cars roared in anticipation.

Both cars got into first gear.
Their tires screeched, and they accelerated; both cars were tied at first, but Malcolm, the better driver, quickly took the lead, leaving Jackson behind.
Jackson shifted to 2nd gear and quickly caught up.
Malcolm, noticing, also shifted to the next gear.
A police car was parked on the side of the road ahead.
The Porsche and Skyline zipped past it in a blur.
Halfway to the School, Malcolm reached in the back and twisted the NOS tank and pressed the button; the car accelerated and gapped the Porsche once more.
Closing in on the school, Malcolm drifted around corners and weaved around cars.
Upon reaching the school, the students made way for the Skyline.
Jackson, in his Porsche, was behind them, unable to overtake because Malcolm was drifting.
Malcolm spun the car around and drove in reverse while giving Jackson the middle finger.
He straightened the car, started drifting again, and drifted into his parking spot.
Adding salt to the wound, he did a burnout as Jackson pulled up to the parking lot.
In the car, Allison was laughing from pure excitement after the race they had just won.
Malcolm got out, opened the door for Allison, and went into the school holding hands.
Walking into the school, they saw Olivia next to her locker, so they made their way to her and were talking casually.
Throughout the entire conversation, Malcolm didn’t let go of Allison’s hand, making sure all the guys saw that she was taken.
Lydia walked with a guy from the Lacrosse team and was introduced to Olivia.
Malcolm could sense Scott’s anger slowly boiling, but good that he could control it.
Lydia glanced over to Scott with a devilish smile and left with the lacrosse player.
“So she’s introducing you to everyone?” Scott asked, approaching the group.
“She’s being so nice,” Olivia replied.
“I mean, why?”
“Maybe she gets how being new can suck,” Olivia said with a bit of sarcasm.
Scott’s gaze dropped to her hands.
She was holding her jacket from the party.
His memory flashed to the time when he saw it when he first shifted.
“Where did you get that?” Scott asked.
“My jacket?
It was in my locker.
I think Lydia brought it back from the party.
I think it was-” Scott cut in and asked.
“Did she say she gave it back, or did someone give it to her?” Scott became a little more serious.
“From who?”
“Derek,” Scott replied.
“Your friend,” Olivia asked.
“He’s not my friend.
How much did you talk to him after the party?” Scott asked.
“Not much at all.”
“What did you say?” Scott’s anger slightly visible.
Malcolm got involved before things could go south, “Hey, why don’t you girls go ahead?
I needed to talk to Scott real quick.” He signaled for Allison to take Olivia to class.
“Yeah, I’ll see you in class.” Allison took her sister with her.
“Listen to me, Scott, don’t do anything stupid.
All he did was give her a ride back home after the party; he didn’t tell her what you are.” Malcolm said before heading to class.
Scott stood in the hallway, anger building up.
[Old Hale House]
Scott rode his bike through the forest to the Hale house.
With the sole purpose of confronting Derek.
He got off his bike and threw his helmet on the ground.
“DEREK DEREK!” Scott yelled.
He picked up a scent, and his gaze followed the scent to the side of the house where an area looked like it had recently been dug.
He looked back at the front of the house where Derek had been silently standing.
“STAY AWAY FROM HER.
SHE DOESN’T KNOW ANYTHING.” Scott yelled.
Derek walked down the stairs towards Scott.
“Yeah?
What if she does?”
“You think your little buddy Stiles can just Google werewolves, and now you’ve got all the answers, is that it?” Derek added.
“You don’t get it, Scott.
I’m looking out for you.
Think about what could happen your out in the field; it’s full moon, the aggression takes over, and you shift right in front of everyone.”
Derek picked Scott’s lacrosse stick and continued, “Your mom, your friends, and when they see you.”
Derek used his claws and tore through the net of the stick.
“Everything falls apart.” Derek held it in his hand.
“Malcolm only taught you how to use your anger; you can’t just learn control overnight just like that.” He then threw the stick in the air.
Scott’s gaze focused on it and caught it, but Derek had already disappeared without so much as a sound.
