After classes are over, Malcolm heads to his locker to grab his things and finds out his locker is right next to Allison and Olivia’s lockers.

“Hi, I just wanted to say thanks for the pen earlier.

I left mine at home by mistake.” Allison says, approaching him alongside Olivia.Full novel: Teen Wolf : The Progenitor — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“No problem.

Let me know if you need anything.”

“I’m Allison Argent, by the way,” she introduces herself while gawking at his well-built body up and down.

Malcolm notices her stares and smirks.

“See something you like, huh, Allison?” He teases, snapping Allison out of her trance.

“W-what n-no I mean y-yes I-i” Malcolm snickers at Allison’s fumble of words.

“Sorry, I’m just messing with you look cute when you’re embarrassed,” Malcolm smirks as Allison’s embarrassed blush worsens.

Across the hallway, Scott is looking at Olivia like a love-struck teenager.

Olivia notices and smiles back at him.

Their gazes linger on each other for a moment longer before a female voice chimes in.

“Those jackets are absolutely killer.

Where did you get them?” a girl with strawberry blonde hair asked Allison and Olivia.

“Uhh, our mom was a buyer in France,” Allison answered, caught off guard by the sudden question.

“And you two are my new besties, and you are,” she said, turning to Malcolm.

“Malcolm-Malcolm Oliver Rivera,” he replied, offering his hand to her, which she accepted.

“Lydia Martin, hey Jackson,” she said when a 5’9 guy with a lacrosse stick wrapped his hands around her waist.

She turned around, and they started making out.

She introduced him and us to each other after their make-out session.

‘Might as well fuck while you’re at it,’ Malcolm thinks with a look of disgust in his eyes.

He opens his locker, reaches in, grabs his Wilson basketball and Steph Curry jersey, and holds it with a one-handed grip while his NBA jersey hangs over his shoulder.

“You play basketball?” Allison asks at the sight of his basketball and jersey.

“Yeah, since I was 4, won a state championship in Los Angeles at 10 years old, and have been undefeated since then as the undisputed 6-time MVP till now,” he proudly said.

“Nice, so you guys going to the party?” Lydia asked

“Party,” Olivia said, confused since she didn’t hear anything about a party.

“Yeah, everyone’s coming after the scrimmage,” Jackson replied.

“Like basketball”

Jackson scoffed, “Basketball’s dead here; we play lacrosse here, and we won the state championship,” he bragged, looking at Malcolm.

“Because of a certain team captain,” they resumed their lip-sex.

“Cute,” Malcolm smirked.

“So you guys coming?” Jackson, annoyed by the comment, ignored it and asked.

“Sorry, no, I’m heading to the court,” Malcolm declined.

“No problem, the rest of us are going to the field,” Lydia said before Allison could go with Malcolm.

She wrapped her arms around the twins and walked to the Lacrosse field.

Allison looked back with shattered hopes; meanwhile, Jackson gave Malcolm one more glare before following the girls.

[Malcolm POV]

I entered the indoor court and changed into my basketball gear, then started with a 5-lap run, then a Suicide run.

(A/N: Only hoopers know this hell punishment)

“Ok, all warmed up, time for shooting practice.” I make 10 free throws, then move to mid-range shots and finish it off with 10 three-point shots from the top of the key.

In the hallway, a teacher dressed like a coach walks past the hallway and sees me practicing and watches me as I finish up.

“Time for the Finale.” At the Wing, I toss the ball in a shooting motion towards the basket, then run after it, jump, grab the ball in the air, and do a behind-the-back 180 dunk that shatters the backboard.

I get showered by glass as I land with the rim in hand.

“And that’s my cue to leave.” I quickly grab my stuff to leave, only to be met by the stern gaze of Coach Finstock.

” And where do you think you’re going, hmm?” Coach asks.

” You see, what happened was I was about to start playing when I found the whole thing shattered.” I lied straight to his face like I wasn’t just watching me as I broke it.

“Is that so?” he then pointed to a camera in the top corner.

“Shit,” I muttered under my breath.

“Here’s what’s gonna happen: I’ll keep this between us if you go to the lacrosse tryouts right now.” Is this guy blackmailing me?.

Coach stands there with a smirk on his face.

“Fine, but I’ve never played before, so don’t expect much,” I say with a tired look on my face.

“Ehh, you’ll be fine,” he shrugs off.

He leads me to the locker room and hands me equipment to change into.

“Here, change and meet me out there, and don’t even think of running away cause so help me, I will make your life here a living hell.” He says before leaving.

‘I can’t tell if he’s a teacher or a high school bully,’ I think to myself.

[The Lacrosse Field]

Scott and Stiles walk up to the field for practice.

“But if you play, I’ll have no one to talk to on the bench.

Are you really gonna do that to your best friend?”

“I can’t sit out again.

My whole life is sitting on the sidelines this season.

I make first line.” Scott says as they put their bags down.

On the bleachers, Lydia sits down with Allison and Olivia following closely behind her while looking around the field.

Scott notices Olivia sitting next to her sister and Lydia, and smiles at her; she returns the kind gesture.

“McCall,” Coach Finstock calls out to him.

“Yeah,” he tosses a Goally lacrosse stick and a helmet in Scott’s hands.

“You’re on Goal.” Scott manages to catch them.

“But I’ve never played.”

“I know scoring some shots will give the boys a confidence boost.

It’s the first day back; get them energized, FIRED UP.” Coach explains.

“What about me?” Scott asks confused

“Try not to take any in the face.” Coach slaps him in the face.

“LET’S GO C’MON,” Finstock yells to hype up his players.

Scott puts on his helmet and heads to the goalpost.

Olivia looks at Scott and turns to Lydia and asks, “Who is that?” Lydia looks at Scott.

“Who him…

not sure who he is, why?” Scott’s superhuman hearing kicks in, and he hears the conversation between the girls as it echoes in his head.

“He’s in my English class,” Olivia replies.

The Ref blew his whistle while Scott was still using his super hearing, making him wince and grab his ears at the sudden noise.

The First player threw the ball, hitting Scott in the face.

The players and coach started laughing, but Scott got up and readied himself with a determined look.

The next player ran up and aimed for the top left corner, but Scott caught it with his fast new reflexes, shocking everyone.

“Yeah,” Stiles cheered for his best friend.

After that, one by one scott caught every ball thrown his way in an attempt to score on him.

“He looks like he’s pretty good,” Olivia Commented.

” Yeah, very good,” Lydia added with an intrigued expression.

While Allison was watching with mild amusement on her face.

Scott smiled and jumped up and down from the compliments he was receiving.

Jackson, fuming, steps forward; Scott refocuses and readies himself.

Jackson takes off running, jumps, and contorts his body, winding back his stick and launching it straight to the Goal.

The crowd goes silent in anticipation, but Scott catches the ball.

The Crowd bursts into cheers, Scott smiling, looking at the ball he caught.

“YEAH, THAT’S MY BEST FRIEND.” Stiles cheers.

Lydia stands and cheers with Olivia and Allison.

Jackson looks at her with annoyance, but Lydia just gives him a sly smile.

Scott throws the ball behind his back into the ref’s stick.

[Malcolm POV]

Nice, Scott.

Shame I’m your next opponent.

I walk towards the field wearing Lacrosse equipment except a helmet.

I draw the audience’s attention.

I notice Allison in the crowd and smile at her.

She notices me and waves with a smile.

I walk up to the coach.

“So what am I here for?” I ask.

“Join the Line and take a swing at McCall; try not to embarrass yourself.”

Ignoring the last comment, I make my way to the line.

“Hey, look, Malcolm actually showed up,” Olivia said, making Lydia turn to see.

“Doesn’t change anything; the goalie is just gonna shut him down anyway,” Lydia said.

After hearing what she said, I went straight to the front of the line and grabbed a ball.

Taking off running at Scott, his smile radiating confidence from the way he just showed off in front of everyone.

‘Good, keep that confidence up so I can crush it.’ Planting my left foot, leaning forward, and winding my right arm back like a baseball pitcher, I launch the ball, and it rockets straight into the Goal past Scott’s face.

“YES!” Allison stands up and cheers along with Olivia.

I take off the helmet and look at Scott, still stunned by that shot, then notice Finstock yelling on the sidelines, “That’s what I’m talking about, more of that stuff.”

“Hey Scott, you were right.

Lacrosse really is fun.” I say, smiling at him.

“Wait, Malcolm, I thought you said you’re joining the Lacrosse team?” He asks, shocked, finally realizing who it is.

“Finally took you long enough to realize I thought you completely forgot about me.”
