Gu Qingyun’s eyes shifted as she remembered that the deadly poison in her body had yet to be cured. She had originally intended to search for the Yin Silk Flower last night, but she failed to find it and instead picked up an egg, thereby causing herself a great deal of trouble.

Though it was a great deal of trouble, if used properly, it could also prove to be a formidable weapon.

She raised her eyes and looked straight at him, speaking frankly. “I have a deadly poison in my body. The antidote requires an additional Medicinal Material called the Yin Silk Flower.”Full novel: The Adorable Ghost Doctor: The Pampered Little Poisonous Consort — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Gong Yunxu immediately ordered, “Gong Jiu, have people search for it and bring it back as soon as possible.”

“Yes!”

Gong Yunxu smiled. “Now you can stay peacefully by my side, right?”

“The Yin Silk Flower is difficult to find. The more people searching, the better.” She meant that she wanted to search for it too.

“Very well. I’ll accompany you.” Gong Yunxu understood the implication and nodded. He then took her hand and walked toward the courtyard gate she had been longing for.

Gu Qingyun’s Hand grew warm, and she froze as well, staring blankly at their intertwined hands.

This body was still that of a fifteen-year-old girl, not yet fully developed. Her hand looked even more petite in his palm.

Does this man have a thing for children?

This question flashed through Gu Qingyun’s mind.

After taking only a few steps, she could no longer move. Something heavy was dragging against her calf.

She stopped and lowered her head. She saw the little cutie grinning up at her, his round, jet-black eyes adorably bright. “Mother, carry me!”

Gu Qingyun’s lips twitched slightly. “I’m not your mother.”

As soon as she finished speaking, tears quickly gathered in the Little Milk Bun’s dark eyes, and his tender little lips drooped.

Gu Qingyun had a headache. She raised her eyes and glared at Gong Yunxu.

As if sensing it, Gong Yunxu also raised his eyes to look at her.

Seeing her glare at him, Gong Yunxu found it amusing. “I didn’t do anything to you.”

Gu Qingyun shook off his hand, then bent down with a stern expression and lifted the Little Milk Bun by the scruff.

The little fellow’s pink, doughy face immediately brightened.

Gu Qingyun stuffed the Little Milk Bun into Gong Yunxu’s arms. “Return him to the original host.”

The Little Milk Bun had just entered his little mother’s embrace and was preparing to happily rub against her soft, fragrant body when he suddenly realized that he had left her arms. His lively eyes went blank for a moment. He slowly turned around and met Gong Yunxu’s half-smiling face. The Little Milk Bun immediately glared at him, then turned back and reached both arms toward Gu Qingyun. “Carry me! Carry me!”

“Let your father carry you!” Gu Qingyun said casually.

Pfft!

A soft laugh rang out.

“Son, obediently let your father carry you. Don’t tire your mother.” Gong Yunxu seriously lectured the Little Milk Bun.

Gu Qingyun’s expression stiffened. Damn it! He had tricked her again!

She shot him a cold sidelong glance and turned to walk outside.

Gong Yunxu followed at a leisurely pace.

The Little Milk Bun struggled, trying to jump out and embrace Gu Qingyun.

Gong Yunxu supported his bottom with one hand and transmitted through Divine Sense, “If you don’t want your mother to abandon you, listen to me.”

The Little Milk Bun cleverly rolled his eyes. After a while, he gave a soft snort.

Gu Qingyun, walking ahead, naturally knew nothing of the interaction between the big one and the little one.

She was thinking about how to shake off Gong Yunxu.

Not only was this man’s martial arts unfathomably profound, but his thoughts were even more strange and impossible to read.

If the “Eldest Young Master Zongzheng” who had come calling earlier really was the enemy she had in mind, it would not be easy for her to make a move under this man’s watchful eye. She had to find a way to shake him off.

They passed through several gates and corridors before finally exiting through the main gate.

So they were on a mountain!

Looking at the towering mountains and rugged ridges outside, Gu Qingyun curved her lips slightly.

This terrain benefited her more than it hindered her.

“Come here.” Gong Yunxu suddenly stopped and turned back to her.
