Penny: Symbiote Wars Part 1

The Amazing White-Spider

Jake: "I may hate the way she does things, but if Spiderwoman can help people like Penny get out of her darkest hour, then maybe she's alright after all."

As Spiderwoman hangs outside the window to her room, she overhears her normal friend Jack somehow still alive and outside the safe zone that S.H.I.E.L.D. has stationed all around New York for any civilian that doesn't want to accidentally die in the ensuing fight between these creatures and hero's fighting.

Spiderwoman wondered just what the heck Jake was doing in her house, especially why he was dissing her and praising her at the same time. But that was nothing compared to the fear she felt when she realized that Jake saw her hidden stash!

The amount of fear Penny felt when she realized Jake knew everything she hid, including her journal and everything she wrote in there, she honestly wished her powers to finally leave her so she could fall off her house and either die or at least break some bones.

To her, that was a far better fate than the one she was forced to face. Thankfully Jake seemed to be leaving, which gave Penny enough time to sneak inside her room... only to then get another heart attack when Jake suddenly appeared after going near Aunt May's room.

Honestly, who could really blame him for running away from Aunt May's room, as while Penny hasn't ever truly been there herself, she knew for a fact that based on everything she's heard coming from there over the years, death would be better for anyone who knows Aunt May.

Once Jake finally leaves the house for good this time Penny sighed as she got off the ceiling and opened up the grate and grabbed her journal while also dragging something from one of her web shooters that turned out to be a black light.

Revealing that the pictures of Spiderwoman were the final product and her notes on how to make the suit better, along with everything else she needed and used as Spiderwoman over the years, and especially the past month.

Looking through her notes, Penny tries to find the chemical reaction for her spider webs, as she needed to make more of them since she was running low along with recharge her web shooters and actually rest for even a minute.

As she's been swinging around the city for about twelve hours straight at that point, and even for her, she was pushing her limits along with her snack pouch and little flash of water she had hidden in her suit in case of emergencies, like the one time someone kidnapped her while she was still Penny Parker.

Spiderwoman: "(Pulls her mask up.) Man, my secret notes suck. Thankfully, I can still kind of understand what I wrote."

Once Penny got most of what she needed, she brought out her "my first chemistry set" from her closet and started mixing everything she needed to make her web charges before contemplating on burning her journal or not.

As she felt like it was something she no longer needed, but at the same time it held too many memories, both good and bad, and she'd hate to lose all of them for such a rash decision like someone found her secret book and now it had to be destroyed.

Penny: "I'm such a sentimental idiot..."

Penny pockets the notebook inside Uncle Ben's old leather jacket that since... his death has become hers, and no matter where she goes or how many years have passed since then, she refuses to get rid of it as it somehow still smells like him and feels like he's hugging and comforting her when she needs it.

Looking around her room one last time, Penny wonders if there was anything else she might have needed or wanted from her home before she leaves it once more for a prolonged period of time till this symbiote war or whatever's happening outside comes to an end.

As Penny gets ready to leave, she hears a loud crashing sound coming from outside and rushes to investigate the cause of the noise and discovers that a large horde of those red and black symbiote creatures, as they seemed to be charging at Jake!

Realizing this, Penny tried her best to web into action while also jumping out of her room on the second floor! However, during all of this, she forgot that A) her natural ability to shoot webs has become nonexistent and B) her web shooters needed at least two minutes to fully charge after being depleted.

So instead of leaping into action like the hero she wanted to be, Penny Face planted the asphalt road as she struggled to make her way towards Jake and try to save him. In the process of doing so, she did manage to save him a bit.

Since the sounds of her hitting the ground and her groaning managed to attract the attention of a small group of them as they began marching zombie-like towards Penny.

Penny: "I wish I got paid for this so I could say I don't get paid enough for this!"

Looking at her web shooters, Penny gladly sees that her web shooters were finally fully charged and loaded thanks to the little Spiderwoman icon over a spider web she put in, telling her everything was all good with them.

Penny pulled down her mask as she smiled and began blasting these things as much as she could while also doing so as fast as she could since they had way more numbers than her, and given how it didn't seem like they were slowing down, Spiderwoman knew she was going to be in trouble if this kept up.

Spiderwoman web zips towards a light post as she then grabs a man whole cover and starts swinging it around like a battle mace, managing to knock down a good few of those symbiote monsters, but the thing about them is they grow, learn, and adapt to almost everything Spiderwoman can throw at them.

Which means that by the third go around, these freaks managed to grab the manhole cover and actually bent it in half!

Seeing this, Penny shot a web at one of them and pulled him down to the ground as she kicked him in the face before breakdancing, turning around, and trying to do the same to another but instead got grabbed by the massive horde.

As they all went after Penny and started trying to pull her apart or rip off her suit, Penny just barely managed to zip away to safety, but not completely safe. Since most of her suit was damaged beyond repair and she had more cuts and bruises than she knew what to do with.

Desperately seeking help Penny tried to make her way towards Avengers Tower or the Baxter building to try and either get some help or find some supplies that could help her out!

But that attack seemed to drain more than just her stamina, as Penny was now finding it difficult to swing like she used to as she kept bumping and knocking into anything that was in her way, along with almost always failing her landings.

Penny: "Come on! You can't die just yet!"

Penny kept screaming to herself as she tried to psych herself up, especially since she was so close to either of the two buildings she needed to go to. But now she was worried that the things wouldn't recognize her, and even if they did, what could Penny really do?

She was almost completely human now, and all the tech in her suit was pretty much destroying, and the only thing left was, her web launchers were now faulty, as there seemed to be a green one that touched it and caused it to haywire.

Penny: "(Sighs) What am I going to do?"

And that is all for now hope you all enjoyed and until next time stay safe and peace!
