Jake: "(Gasping and panting as he just barely manages to reach the top floor of the Avengers tower) I... swear... to... Thor... I'm... gonna... punch... Iron-Man... in... the... face!"
And almost immediately after that, Jake passed out on the floor just before he actually managed to even enter the actual part of the Avengers building, and when Jake finally woke up, it was still dark outside, letting Jake know he was either passed out for just a short while or a much longer while.
Either way, it didn't really matter that much to him, since he was still in the Avengers building, and his goal was still true to find some way to hopefully fly, as that would be both very cool and also would hopefully help him with his entire goal/mission.
However, that also meant that first he had to somehow hack his way into the building... thankfully, or actually unthankfully, the access panel to the door seemed to have been torn clean off, as there were now just a couple of wires hanging from where it used to be.
And the reason Jake knows there's supposed to be something there besides the obvious broken security panel was because before he passed out, he saw the little screen that had the Avengers logo on it with an arrow pointing to the right inside the little connecting area of the A.
Jake: "Ah crap, here we go again."
He said, whilst grunting his way off the floor, and slowly began making his way towards the building like this was his house and he had just heard someone break into it, to the point he was even scared-walking all over the place.
As Jake slowly made his way through the giant, possibly living room of the place, everything inside looked either broken, cheap, or way too advanced for what it was, to the point it honestly took Jake four freaking hours to figure out the giant, parted thing in their kitchen was a freaking coffee machine!
And no, it wasn't an espresso machine; it was just a straight-up coffee machine that seemed to be made in such a way that when Jake drank the coffee, he felt like the thing was trying to kill him, yet at the same time it tasted far better than anything else he's ever had.
The same went for the fridge, as it seemed to have more locks and triggers than their own freaking front door! Like, why does a fridge door have motion sensors, hand scanners, eye scanners, DNA confirmation things, and some bioscanners?
Like, what the heck is inside this fridge that requires all of that and makes Jake honestly wonder if this thing was actually a fridge and what might have been inside it, or if it was something else they just hadn't moved yet, and if so, then what the heck was inside this freaking thing for it to be so secure!
And since Jake wasn't an Avenger, he didn't have any sort of power to open the thing even if he was feeling little weird sparks of electricity anytime he touched the thing or anything really electronic, but weirdly only things that seemed to have been made by Tony or at least upgraded by him.
But of course the fun soon had to end when Jake started hearing something breaking and crashing things all around that made him think it was either another Hulk-like symbiote or Hulk himself that might have just entered the building.
Jake slowly began creeping his way towards the source of the breaking noises he was hearing come from just a bit further outside in what was either a takeoff field of just their backyard area as a giant monster-like creature was just walking around the place.
Jake: "Does God just hate me!?"
Jake said a bit too loud as the monster turned around, and lo and behold, it was either a straight-up Hulk possessed by something, as he looked more demonic and stared and smiled at Jake like he was going to kill him, or it could have just been another fake Hulk.
Either way, it didn't really matter that much since both of these gigantic options would sooo result in his death if even one part of its body were to touch Jake aggressively, and Jake would know as he got launched into the wall just by the windbreak hitting him from the previous Hulk.
Both Jake and the Hulk were standing and staring at each other for a long while, until eventually they heard the cooing of a group of pigeons fly by, with one of them crapping on the Avengers window glass door.
The second the crap hit the glass, Jake began running inside the building as much as he could as the Hulk smashed through the glass and everything as it soon roared and began rushing towards Jake more monster-like than anything he'd ever seen from him before.
It would honestly have been kind of funny if it hadn't been so terrifying to live through as Hulk was knocking and crashing into everything, almost like it wasn't used to the size and shape of its body, which, if some of the conspiracy podcasts that Jake had listened to in the past, might have been true.
As one of the greatest Avengers mysteries, the theory is that the Hulk wasn't just one man but was in fact two, as how else would you be able to explain why he's almost never really seen until they call for him and then suddenly there's the jolly good old giant?
With both of the symbiote creature-infused beings stumbling away from each other, the Hulk sadly has a lot more reach than Jake did in his form and was soon backhanded straight into what he could only assume was Iron Man's room as he was in some gyroscope thing.
Hearing the heavy breathing that was hopefully coming from the Hulk and not himself, Jake tried to get out of the thing, but he was locked into the darn thing as there was still a gauntlet and boot connected to it that must have still been open before he landed in them.
What was even stranger, however, had to be the fact that little purple tendrils started slowly slithering their way out of the gauntlet and boot as they began hooking up to the gyroscope thing like it was actually hacking the thing.
And the craziest thing was that it actually did! Soon after the purple tendrils were locked in, Jake started moving around and into place as tiny robot hands began putting barely made/very early staged prototype things that were just laying all over the place on his body.
Like his arm that wasn't connected to the gauntlet was soon put inside what looked to be either a giant drill or something Iron was working on to beat something like the Hulk, as it was damn near the same size as Jake's entire body.
His other leg kind of had the same treatment, except it seemed to be nothing more than a frame, or it was made for someone else, as it had barely any parts on it and was mostly free and open, only taking up his upper thigh, knee, and foot.
For the most part, Jake was very interested and fascinated by everything that was happening... however, that all soon changed when he saw the giant backpack-looking thing slowly make its way towards him along with Iron Man's face mask!
It felt like being part of a science fiction horror movie, but thankfully the metal faceplate wasn't going to be forcibly placed on Jake's head, and instead he was given an actual helmet... that for some reason didn't seem to have anything for him to see or breathe out of, but who's he to say anything to Iron Man and his genius?
Of course, it hurt quite a bit, especially in the chest area, as whatever was to be connected with the heavy backpack must not have been made yet, or this thing wasn't fixed, or it could have possibly been something for Iron Man himself and no one else.
Once everything finished fixing itself to Jake, his little tentacles receded from the gyroscope and began encasing Jake inside the makeshift, ugly, and probably impractical suit as a couple of stray tentacle things began pulling things from outside as he could somehow feel everything moving.
While this was happening, Jake felt very sleepy and could pass out at any moment, but Jake pushed through the great desire to sleep, as he could still hear the Hulk outside, and it wasn't exactly something he felt like ignoring, as the big lug was probably looking for him.
Jake didn't exactly know just how long he was inside the little cocoon for, nor was he even willing to keep track, as the desire to sleep was ever-growing along with Jake's own fear of the Hulk eventually opening up the door or just looking through the hole Jake made in the room and finding Jake.
Thankfully that didn't happen, and Jake managed to leave his cocoon just fine, and another thanks was for Iron, apparently having a huge ego, as the place had quite a lot of mirrors all over the place and showed Jake wearing a very expensive, vigilante-looking suit.
It was very interesting to see everything somehow become an actually decent suit compared to what it looked like before and seemed to actually be fully made just for him from all the parts along with some parts shrinking and others growing to somewhat complete it.
But this didn't really mean much of anything as Hulk soon made his way through the wall and grabbed Jake through it and spiked him through the floor at an angle that would have caused him to fall and probably kill even him from this height.
Thankfully, the suit seemed to give him the ability to stick to walls for a bit before they started wearing off, but only long enough that it didn't make it impossible or even hard for Jake to run his way back up and in the Avengers Tower.
Jake: "Miss me, big Green!?"
Of course Jake immediately regretted saying that once he saw the Hulk smile once more and began charging at Jake, who, unlike last time, was expecting him this time, and also his brand-new suit seemed to enhance his agility, and sadly, though nothing else enhanced, other than his new visor.
Hopefully that should be enough gadgets he had, as given the look that was on Hulk's face, he probably wasn't going to let Jake go any time soon, more so if he actually had a symbiote as well; it would enhance his already extreme abilities even more if it was anything like Jake's.
Having nothing to lose other than his life, Jake charges at Hulk and tries his best to fight the big green man as the Hulk just kept trying to kill him as he smashed every area of the Avengers room while also occasionally grabbing some furniture and throwing it at him.
Every time Hulk did so, however, Jake barely managed to dodge it as giant holes in the floor became more and more common as their one-sided battle went on since there wasn't really anything that Jake could do to the Hulk of all people.
However, it didn't take very long for Jake to realize that something was a bit off, as the Hulk seemed to be fighting himself along with the rest of the building for some reason, along with someone that looked to be trying to fight his way out before some green tentacles pulled them right back in.
Jack: "(Under his breath) *Damn it!* Wait right there; I got you!"
After cracking his knuckles, Jake charged in and dived straight into the fake Hulk's body and seemed to get eaten by it, and Jake immediately realized that everything inside was a whole lot bigger than he had thought.
Jake: "Why the heck are there stairs and stars inside someone's body?"
Jake just shook his head at the weird sight all around him as he began walking across a green and sticky goo-ridden floor until eventually he came across a giant green door with a tiny green figure with green flames bursting around him.
Jake: "Well, whatever, it can't be any weirder than what I've already seen."
