Sneaking her way into the Baxter Building thanks to Johnny giving her a key in case she ever needed a superhero cool down, which, while it was cool of him to offer, it was a great surprise to everyone other than Johnny when the first time Penny actually used the key was also the same time his sister was... well, trying to help her husband relax, shall we say.
However, after that honestly traumatizing day, Penny makes sure to always knock before she enters the room through the skylight, even after being told repeatedly by them that the room had since been turned into her own little private area.
Penny: "(Takes off her mask.) Man (uses her mask to wipe off her sweat as she takes off the top part of her suit, like a jumpsuit, and ties it around her waist.) Last time I checked, it wasn't summer just yet."
As Penny walks around the mostly empty Baxter building, with their tiny little robot helpers taking care of the place while the Fantastic Four were off exploring beyond the stars, the last thing Johnny texted her before they possibly went beyond their cell range was him in front of some stars and planets that Penny had no clue what they might have been.
Walking towards her mini fridge, Penny gets out some canned soda that no matter how many times she drinks it, she can never pronounce the name of or even tell what it tastes like. But that doesn't really matter as she mostly drank it just to mess with Jake and Harry until she, of course, actually started liking the drink.
After she finished chugging the can, she looked at her web shooters to see what her heartrate was, as that might explain why she was hot enough to be sweating in her suit, even though she's never done so besides during summer, of course.
Penny was very grateful that she finished her soda when she did, as when she looked down, she saw her heart rate was almost as high as the time she thought she was about to walk in on her Aunt May and what she thought was a partner, only to thankfully be Aunt May crying as she watched the movie Uncle Ben was looking forward to watching.
Slamming her hands on the countertop, Penny tries her best to keep calm as her entire world seems to be crashing, as she could feel it even now that she has only a matter of days left before she couldn't be a hero anymore.
But before she could continue wrestling with her darker thoughts, she hears someone break in, and immediately suits up as she jumps onto the ceiling so as to get a good stealth angle going on and sees Jake.
What the heck is he doing here? Especially when there could be symbiote monsters trying to break in or possibly even being inside the building, let alone this very floor!
As Penny quietly snuck on over to him, she was at first shocked because she thought he had died by the horde of symbiote monsters; as she got closer, she was very relieved to see that he was, for the most part, okay and just needed to do more cardio as he was passed out cold on the fireproofed floor.
Penny: "(Takes her mask off) For someone who doesn't seem to be that heroic or like being a hero, you seem to be doing a lot of heroic things... quietly, like saving me for starters."
Without realizing it, Penny began to get closer to Jake as she realized just how buff and big he had really gotten over the years, as he liked to wear mostly baggy clothes for some reason, and eventually she got up close to his face and realized just how hot he actually looked compared to how cute he used to be.
Penny: "(Slaps her face hard and puts her mask on) Get a grip, woman! He... he already has Felica, and besides, just because he may or may not be your first crush doesn't mean you get to do anything to a passed-out citizen. Yep... just think of him as another drunk hunk passed out after partying too hard."
But before Penny could do anything, she realized her hands weren't listening to her mind as they were about to do something to Jake, and once she realized that, she slowly sped away as she made her way towards the new suit that Reeds had been so nice to make for her as a workaround to her losing her ability to crawl anything and actually stay there.
Of course there were some small improvements needed for it to even work in the first place, like the fact that Penny felt like it was a bit too loose and tight in certain areas of her body that made Susan smack her brother and husband when she mentioned it.
Other than that, it was also that it couldn't hold anything, and while it did somewhat work the way it was supposed to, it, however, didn't seem to work that well when it came to Penny also trying to use her gadgets or when she used to be able to use her natural web shooters.
But besides those problems, this was an amazing suit made of the unstable molecule clothes that made up the other Fantastic Four members outfits, along with having it be able to change colors whenever she might have needed it, like if she were to ever truly join the Fantastic Four family.
However, just as Penny was about to put on the suit to see what changes Mr. Fantastic had made to it, she heard Jake start to move around, and just like a scared cat, she immediately jumped to the ceiling of the room and waited for him to hopefully pass by.
But instead of just leaving, he instead began to look around the place and almost destroyed the entire building by grabbing Ego's core that was hibernating and then almost let one of the demons from the dark dimension let loose by leaving the portal open for too long.
However, he did get himself some just karma as he stole some of Ben's food that he had spiked with marinated laxatives and other things to increase the urge to poop, as Johnny apparently was supposed to go on a date at some point, and Ben felt like ruining the same way Johnny ruined his last date.
To make matters even worse was that Jake, for some reason, decided to steal the suit that was made for her and began wearing it before he left the building and headed towards most likely Avengers Tower, as anytime he had to walk up at least two flights of stairs, he always started wishing he could fly.
As Penny watches from a distance, she tries her best to ignore him as best she could since he was doing his own thing, and she still needed to check around the area for any stragglers, buttt... she just couldn't help herself and began to follow Jake as she was both curious to see what Iron Man had built along with any others there might have been.
So after making sure that everything was, for the most part, the same as before any of them had arrived, Penny jumped out of an open window and webbed it shut as she started falling and made sure to swing her way out of the building and slowly began to follow Jake.
While at the same time trying her best to keep quiet as she just gave herself a newly broken arm, as apparently her body had enough of swinging like she used to, or maybe it was just the way she swung.
Either way, she now had a broken arm and was trying her best to keep the pain hidden as she followed Jake around until he finally entered the Avengers Tower and made his way into the building.
When Penny finally manages to make her way to the very top of the building she had managed to find a different set of clothes since Penny didn't really feel like she deserved to be a hero anymore now that most of her powers were gone.
However, when she saw that her best friend Jake seemed to be in trouble as glowing green bits of energy seemed to be swirling around him as if trying to turn him into a cocoon, fearing the worst, she ran on over to him as fast as she could!
But no matter how hard Penny tried to get closer, there just seemed to be something that was blocking the way. But she wasn't going to let that stop her from trying to save anyone, let alone one of her friends!
Even if it meant that she was slowly getting some weird burn marks and cuts all across her body that made her body scream at her to give up, but she wasn't going to, as she was going to see if Jake was alright and save him if he needed it, even if it meant that her entire body would be damaged forever.
When Penny finally reached Jake, his eyes were green, and his body was covered in green energy, but that didn't matter, as even if it was nothing more than just a single hand grasping his ankle while she bled all over the floor of the tower, since most of her body had already reached its limit five seconds ago.
The second Penny touched Jake, she saw glimpses of the Avengers tower before all of this had happened while Penny silently screamed out Jake's name, causing her picture calendar to appear in the room as Penny passed out from blood loss.
When Penny finally woke up, however, she was inside some strange bar, all bandaged up while some old, rugged-looking man with two beers in his mouth while holding two in his hands, and once he spotted that Penny was up and she was okay, he just grunted as he walked away.
Looking around the room, Penny saw a note made by Jake, as he was the only person in the entire world who managed to make scribbles whenever he used cursive, as he just couldn't handle or care about being neat and only used it whenever he felt like he was in a hurry.
Penny: "(Chuckles) No matter how old we get, you just can't seem to ever get used to taking your time, can you?"
As Penny got up... wait, hold? How the heck was she even able to stand? as she should have lost all feeling in her legs after what she did, given how something seemed to hit her nerve stems or something, which caused her to begin crawling in the first place!
Penny then began rushing all over the place till she eventually stumbled into the bathroom and saw just how damaged her body had become, like it was her first time fighting all the members of her Sinister Six individually and all at the same time all over again.
However, what shocked Penny the most had to be that when she took off her bandages, her skin looked better than it ever had before, like she had just de-aged about ten years with every part of her seeming to have become youthful again.
INCLUDING HER POWERS!!!
Like Penny wasn't even trying to find out if her powers worked or anything, but when the ceiling light almost dropped on her and she sensed it coming and even managed to web it shut and closed, then there wasn't any real help when her instincts took over and saved her.
Once Penny calmed down and realized what she did and what happened, she began jumping around so much that the rest of her bandages managed to come undone. Thankfully, however, it was before the gruff-looking guy came back in, as that would have made her wish to die.
But wait... why do her abilities seem to be stronger? Like before, she could only get a general gist of where the danger might have been coming from, but now she knew where it was and even managed to stop it.
Also, why was her body fine? Like she knows she looks good and everything, but like why does her body look normal? Like what happened to all the burns and cuts from both her last heroic deed and also the ones she got over the years of trying to be a hero?
Penny: "(Cracks her back as she stretches to impossible-looking degrees) Man, I haven't been able to move my body like this since I was ten!"
And why was it that she could stretch her body to such degrees that made it seem like she never went into the superhero world in the first place, as after about three months of working, her body became stiffer than J. Jonna Jammesons's integrity whenever it came to finding out the truth in anything he believed to be true.
As Penny looks outside the window and wonders just what happened as she was knocked out, she looks at her bracelets and realizes that all of this happened within five hours! Making her wonder even more just what happened in those five hours for her to be not only healed but also better than she had ever felt before.
