Black Cat: Symbiote Wars

The Amazing White-Spider

For this tale, we must go back in time a bit to the time before Jake had fallen asleep in the bed of the strange man she now found herself lying in.

Felicia wakes up just like any good soldier or superhero/vigilante does when they were knocked unconscious during their battle or war. For Felicia, this was a war that had long since been coming, as her father was the most vile person she's ever met, and if everything he said was to be true during their battle, then that just makes him even worse of a being.

As Felicia lay in bed, she curled herself up into a ball as she covered herself with as many blankets as she could, as she had very understandably become depressed after hearing that she had a brother that her father sacrificed to a demon for immortality.

And that the only reason she wasn't given up to the demon as well or in place of her newfound brother is because she was too young for it to happen, and while that makes a lot of sense with how he's treated her over the years. There was still that part of her, no matter how small, that cared for and wished her father also cared for her, even though she knew the only thing the Black King Pin really cared about was his own power.

Felica: "(Cries a bit in her arms) At least the old King Pin actually cared for others."

Letting out one last sniffle, Felicia stands up in full glory, forgetting or not really seeming to care about most of her outfit being destroyed as whatever was left fell onto the floor since her symbiote powers seemed to be a bit weak, but that made sense to her as she just woke up after a battle as she wasn't really a fighter.

Felicia stretches her body a bit both as a way of helping her wake up and because she was getting ready to bounce from here at a moment's notice. After she felt she limbered up enough, Felica absorbed her outfit and made a brand new one that was just a tiny bit better than the one before, as it was more intact than her previous one.

Before leaving, she had to figure out how she wanted to wear her hair, as she mostly tied it up when she became Black Cat in the past, but that was only because her father told her to do so when she first started out as a kid... even though it was only so he had something to pull on.

Recalling these darker thoughts, Felica smacked her face a bit as a way of forgetting everything involving him and decided that she was going to be her own Black Cat and not one that filled the mold made by the "person."

Once she finished getting ready, she opened the door and saw a very old and angry-looking man standing there smoking a cigar and an entire case of beer, and while Felica would have liked to ignore him and leave without saying anything, he just had to speak first.

???: "So you're up, huh? Well, the kid that brought you here is still out cold, so if you want anything to say or just to see him, then he's down the hall with the door that has claw marks next to the handle."

And just like that, the man walked down the stairs, passing by Felica as she slowly made her way towards the room, both hoping that it was Jake and also that it might not have been him, as she honestly didn't know how she'd feel if she were to see him now.

Since in the past she didn't really find him to be anything other than a friend, but even then her definition was very skewed thanks to her father, and she tried to keep almost all of them at a certain distance since... well, she'd rather not think of what it was like "welcoming" her father's friends.

Slowly opening the door, Felicia walks over as her feet turn into heels without her knowledge and begins clopping all the way towards the bed Jake was sleeping in. And as she looked at him, she couldn't help but get closer towards him as she actually looked him over for the first time.

But she only managed to do so for about ten seconds before she ran away as her face was getting too hot along with her heart beating so damn fast and hard that she couldn't even hear herself think.

As she ran through the door like she was running from something horrific, the strange man who was now drinking straight from the bar tap saw this and chuckled to himself without Felicia knowing as she kept on running all the way towards her base where the giant white monster also used.

Black Cat: "(Pukes a bit over the rooftop railings) Ugh, what the heck is wrong with me? I've never reacted like this to that idiot before... (covers her face with her hair a bit, all cute, before she lays on the floor of the roof) Did I catch some sort of disease or something?"

While worrying about what might have been happening to her, Felicia ran straight into her secret apartment by diving through the window like she always did, and when she got there, what was waiting for her were two police officers.

But unlike other people, or rather, unlike how Felica would usually react after seeing something like this, she started hysterically laughing while kicking and beating the police officers corpses as fast and hard as she possibly could, like some messed-up piñata.

The reason for this is because she knew these faces all too well, as these are the people that helped her father take the role of Kingpin from Wilson Fisk in the past, and because of this, she was forced to "treat" them very well as a form of thanks for their help.

Once Felicia was done beating them as hard and as much as she wanted, these two officers looked a lot worse than they ever had before, almost like they were getting tortured before their deaths, which Felicia didn't really care for.

However, what she did care for was that this basically meant that she would need to change her hideouts... in fact, it's probably best if she got rid of all her old hideouts and found herself a new one that her father shouldn't be able to find.

But before that happened, she went around the place and grabbed the duffel bag of cash that the giant white beast had left, and of course she opened it because she was curious to see if any of it was gone as she wondered what something like that would need money for.

What she didn't expect, however, was finding out that the bag held many different journals, and all of them seemed to be in a somewhat familiar-looking writing, and all of them seemed to be all about how to kill her father or get him arrested.

Every single journal was either black or white, with the white ones being many different hit plans, while the black were all the different ways to get him arrested and possibly be sentenced to life in prison many times over or given the death penalty.

Eventually it dawns on Felicia that the writing was in fact Jake's, and at first she was greatly disturbed, but after reading them all through, she eventually realizes that this was all made after the first meeting they had together.

This causes her heart to beat almost as fast as when she looked at him as he slept, confusing Felicia even more as she couldn't understand why her body was acting like this or why she was making the biggest smile on her face without realizing it.

After about thirty minutes, Felicia left her room looking red and panting like mad, but that was a given since she just rigged the entire place to blow, which soon began exploding after she started playing some music as loud as possible like some idiots in a zombie movie.

As that happens, all other locations she's used previously begin either blowing up or being set on fire, destroying everything there since all the art and other such things that might have been there have already been taken by her father or have already been sold by her.

In fact, the only art piece that she hasn't sold or gotten rid of yet was the one portrait of her and her father that seemed to actually be full of life, and the sole reason she even had it was because her father wasn't truly in it and instead showed her at a much more innocent age.

Felicia: "If only I could have stayed that way, *sighs,* but unfortunately it was the same week my "training" began... Now that I think about it, it was also during this time I met Harry and, by extension, Penny because of my father's order."

Felicia starts smiling once more without realizing it, and not because Jake appeared in her mind but because that was the start of her friendship with Penny, one of the few people that she considered a true friend and the only person she felt bad for when she took Jake from her, even if it was only for their health class partnership.

With a spring in her step, Felicia starts jogging all the way towards her little cat cave that she found by failing at stealing a blood diamond the first time she ever fought against Spider-Woman, and walking inside, she smiled at the quaint little home she made for herself.

Felicia: "And to think when I first got here it was a meth lab and human trafficking ring, *sighs* it took way too long to finally get that awful smell from here, and all it took was to replace every single piece of wall, floor, and furniture."

As Felica flops onto her couch only to immediately roll off onto the floor, causing her to just stare at her ceiling as she begins to wonder what the heck she was going to do with the rest of her life once this symbiote war or whatever finally ended.

While thinking that, Felicia for a split second thought of Harry's family before they lost his mother and began to imagine something like that with her and Jake as the parents with a cute little daughter that looked a lot like her in the place of Harry.

But it was for no more than a second as she covered her face with her arm and just began crying because of all these new thoughts, the despair of finding out just how truly messed up her father was and that he never really cared about her and only saw her as a chess piece on his path to riches.

And as she lies there in the pits of her darkest moment, she doesn't feel that alone or bad; in fact, she feels better than she's ever felt before in her entire life! Probably because she's now free from her father and can actually live whatever life she wants!

But... what does she want? All she knows is life being under her father's thumb and running around everywhere for him like she was just a pet, and given how he treated her, she might as well have been or a servant instead of a daughter.

As Felica stands up and takes an actual seat on her couch, she lies down fast first on one of the pillows she placed at the armrest and begins to scream into it out of frustration, but then she has an idea, or rather, a recollection!

Felicia: "I can do it! And unlike last time, he's not here to say no anymore!"

Felicia jumps with joy so high that she actually crashes into her roof and falls right back on her couch as she rubs her head, but even that doesn't stop her, as for the first time in her life she truly knows what she wants to do with her life!

Felica: "And to think it was all thanks to that little weirdo (giggles as she begins running upstairs)."

And that is all for now hope you all enjoyed and until next time stay safe and peace!
