(Warning this chapter will get dark)
For the few weeks that every student in the health class has had their "Children" they've all found out new things about themselves through the assignment like how a lot of the people everyone thought would be bad parents became the most protective.
While the people they all thought would be the best at taking care of the kids were in fact the worst as they neglected them for pretty much everything and only the ones who had parents or siblings that were willing to help them out got constant greens in everything other than love from their parents.
For Jake... he was normal while Felica had everything in the green for her days, but honestly it wasn't hard to see why since she was apparently the daughter of some very rich businessman or something as she lived in one of the most expensive places in New York.
Past Felica: "(Talking to Jake when he first arrived at her house after being "invited" by her father) I mean this place is nice and all but (points to everything) its not really lived in that often as you could tell by how nice everything still is even as people grow up they usually break a lot of things or at least leave marks."
Past Jake: "I can attest to that. I mean my room has had more holes in it than anywhere else in the house and at least half of them were directly caused by me."
Walking around the apartment Jake could tell that her father enjoyed only the nicer things in life as the kitchen looked for sleek, black, and pricy! Heck everything inside the fridge was actual ingredients for food and high grade at that with the only non expensive thing being home cooked meals or something like that in fancy Tupperware.
Past Jake: "(Stares at the leftovers) I didn't even think Tupperware could get this fancy!"
Past Felica: "(Sighs) Normally they don't but after spending a million dollars on designs, here we are (takes out an entire set of fancy Tupperware) a bunch of expensive looking crap that only exist because my father refuses to do anything except breathing the same air as normal poor people."
Just then Felica's Father walks in wearing al all white suit except for the dress shirt, shoes, and his little pocket handkerchief that were very dark with the handkerchief having some gold designs of a fox on it.
Felica's Father: "Now what's wrong with wanting the finer things in life (he said wearing a gold smartwatch from Oscorp, with two sets of gold necklaces each with many diamonds and jewels in them along with a ring on each finger with all but one having some sort of gem in them.) After all (places his hands on both Felica's and Jakes necks and starts stroking them somewhat violently) I've so much to get this life and I would appreciate it if my only daughter learned to appreciate the value of what I do."
Past Felica: "(Stands ups and brushes her fathers hand away as if she were throwing it away) Yea well maybe I might if you I ever saw you more than once every few months!"
Felica then storms off to one of her rooms or gets confused as every door looks the same as she begins going through room after room and slams the door before shyly opening them before doing the same thing five more times before finally finding her actual room.
Once Felica left however was the second her Father turned into a less... shall we say welcoming man as he forced Jake to sit back down on the his seat before placing something in his nose and mouth that looked like a comic book respirator and lathering his hands in GermX.
Felica's Father: "Alright listen here you back water no good city slicker! (Jakes looks shocked and bewildered after this sudden shift) I want you and your filth! (He spits out that world full of both saliva and bitterness) If you weren't part of my daughters class assignment I would have never let someone (sizes Jake up) of your kind in here."
The old man grabs Jake and drags him down some stairs and into the elivator that was the only real was of accessing his apartment loft and throws Jake inside it while making sure to give him $10,000 so as to keep making sure his daughter gets a good grade in class.
Past Ekaj: "I like him. I mean its not often you meet someone so blatant with how much they hate and despise other."
Past Jake just rolls his eyes as he opens his backpack and takes out the "child" and begins to carry it around as best he could while walking all the way home since most of traffic was filled with cars and he heard some superhero was fighting in the subways at the moment.
Meanwhile back inside the fancy apartment Felica's Father was teaching his little girl a little "lesson" on how manners maketh the man even if they were a no good woman from a drunken mistake that forced him to invest in said mistake for the next 18 years!
Felica's Father: "I spend every day working hard at what I do! And you can't even show A TINY BIT OF APPRICIATION BY SHOWING THEM THE FLOOR BELOW! (Grabs a nearby night stand and throws it out the window before a quick snap of his fingers replaces it.)"
Felica: "Well sorry if I don't respect my father being a blatant thief who steals anything of value and sells them off at triple the price for anything he doesn't think is worth his time! I mean look around you! Almost none of the stuff in here you-"
Before she could finish sassing her Father the man punched her as hard as he could in the gut and then began punching and kicking her areas that she wouldn't try to show off in front of others like he's always done whenever she angers or annoys him.
After an hour of beating Felica's Father drags her by the hair and throws her onto her bed as he rips all her clothes off and I do mean ALL clothing and throws them into her dresser and has it moved out of her room while making sure everyone sees his daughter and makes sure he has pictures they did.
Felica's Father: "(Caresses her hair) Oh my ugly and naive daughter (grips her hair once more) don't even pretend to be asleep! (Gives her a light yet firm slap before he walks away) I do this because I try to teach you respect (Straightens his tie) I do not steal I merely acquire things that others can no longer pay for and sell them for the right price. (Felica groans in agony and shame) Now unless you want the whole world to see you without anything on stay here until I say otherwise!"
The man slams the door shut as metal bars start descending over her windows and door leaving Felica completely trapped at her Father or rather at Stone's will as he made sure she couldn't go anywhere and if she tried to do anything on the internet it had parental lock on anything that would let her talk to others.
Over the weeks Jake would be forced to enter Felica's apartment and pretend to be parents for their "baby" as Felica's Father either sat down in a brand new sofa that had replaced the one Jake had sat on when he first visited or watched from camera's and speakers.
Jake: "*Whispers* Is your dad always like this? *Whispers*"
Felicia: "(Smiles as she moves her hand behind her back as a camera seems to shake its head) *Sarcastic* Well no he's been the best kind of man anyone could ever ask for! I mean he makes sure I get all the clothes I need, three square meals a day (cut to the past few weeks she's eaten nothing but slabs of cheese, entire loafs of bread and giant packs of baloney.) And is always there when I need him most (again cut to her father entering her room to make sure she learns her "lesson" every night after Jake leaves.)"
Jake: "Really? I mean the guy doesn't seem to be like that but, (shrugs) maybe he just hates poor people or for some reason Caucasian/Asians (he said smiling)."
Felicia only responds with an eye roll as she makes sure their "child" is getting enough play time aka she's playing games on the phone thing and every so often compliments the thing on how good of a job it was doing as she got new high scores.
Yet she never was going to beat Jakes sister who managed to somehow max out every game score in a single night, and not even once but every night their "child" stayed over with Jake and his family.
Thankfully for both of them or at least for Jake anyway that this was the last week that they had to talk to one another every day for at least six hours or else the "baby" would somehow know they hadn't and cause its mood to go down quite a bit.
Jake: "Honestly I'm kind of sad to see us go our separate ways."
Felica: "(With a very fake southern accent) Oh really? And may I be so inclined as to ask why? (The camera starts zooming in on Jake.)"
Jake: "Because I just love (leans in close to Felicia and manages to touch her shoulder and ribs by accident which she flinches a bit but Jake pays it no mind as he thought she was just startled.) The look of annoyance on your face any time I come over is just priceless."
Felica smacks Jake with the bag that held all the baby products the teacher had given them over the weeks as a way of letting them know that no matter what they will never be prepared to be a parent for the first time and had them all purposely fail the first few days of the assignment.
Past Teacher: "(Talks in a southern sexy accent) I wanted all y'all to fail as no one is truly ready when they first become a parent as they will make mistakes, run out of the things they need, or heck they may forget to even get something their child really needs! As you all know (crosses her arms getting almost every guys attention) I'm not the very best at teaching compared to others as I prefer having actual experience imbedded in my teachings and nothing helps you more when you first have kids then knowing all the failures that come with it."
About a week later she would start stealing her students "children" or having the program no longer turn on so that they could all experience what it was like loosing their children for even a second and let them know what it feel like early on.
Of course it freaked everyone out, since this assignment was for most of their grades for the year which was only for her class as everyone who didn't have her got normal amounts of credit, but honestly none of the kids blamed her.
Either because she was smoking hot or because of the fact that her way of teaching actually held weight in that since most of their grades were on the line for this tech baby thing they were of course going to act like real parents when anything happened to their children.
Eventually like every day the whole apartment condo's alarms and lights would start blaring and flashing red like WWIII was about to go down and wouldn't stop till either Jake left or when security started dragging him out, either way Felica waved him goodbye.
However unlike every other time Jake had left this time he realized that Felicia had somehow managed to slip him a note? Like how the heck did she even do that when they were never close enough to each other for it to happen.
-Quick little flash back of Ekaj taking control of their body for a bit as he inches his way towards Felica a bit after he realized she had been staring at their behind for almost thirty minutes straight but not blatant staring but more so secretly doing so.-
Inside the note was nothing more than a tiny square USB that had a white cat symbol on it and after looking around for a bit Jake realized that the note had the worlds HELP formed by a an X symbol like that from game controllers.
Where she sucked so bad at mashing buttons that she would scream out HELP whenever the game asked her to constantly press or mash the button key as she would fail every time until someone actually helped her.
From what he could something similar might be what was happening right now and when Jake got to the safehouse he shared with Black Cat who was gone for quite a long time but honestly what did that matter when a friend was in need of help!
After plugging the USB into a nearby computer Jake was shocked at what he had seen which was nothing short of something he's only heard about happening on the dark web from T.V. shows and movies before.
Ekaj: "Now I know what you might think of me because I'm you but no matter how dark you may think I am, no matter how dark our thoughts may become they would never reach to these kinds of levels. I say we kill that man!"
For the first time in probably ever Jake and Ekaj were on the same page as Jake opened up a secret compartment in his desk and pulled out a box with something that had the letters U.B.P written on it before Jake tossed the USB in it and closed it all as he walked towards his window and leapt through it and turned into the his white beastly self.
Ekaj: "(Sounding like a monster) I thought you were never going to do this again so as to not give me control (chuckles manically)."
Jake: "I don't! And I'm not! (Sighs) I just got the feeling of breaking some things."
