Field trips are something everyone should be happy for right? Well wrong! Field trips are the worst thing every for Jake as not only does it mean that he's away from his family, mainly his little sister but it also means that if anything should happen to them it could take him forever to get there.
Thankfully the school wasn't going anywhere to far this time as they instead were taking a tour to Xavier's school for the gifted as it's something the school does every so often ever since it became a floating island and been forced to distance themselves from the rest of New York.
All thanks to those mutant hating bigots who refused to find a way to help this poor academy and everyone who lived there or was even trapped there when the academy started to drift off out to sea.
However with the help of Norman Osborn and Tony Stark a giant bridge was created towards the new island along with the Island being stabilized so they could actually have a chance at reconnecting with everyone back on the new main land.
While the school bus was driving over there everyone in the bus was talking about who they'd like to meet at the academy with some even letting out their hidden perverted ideas for some of the people there... and yes that also included Jake.
Jake: "(Laughing as he tries to quite down his schoolmates) Look! All I'm saying is that maybe, just maybe if I were to have any sort of relationship with any X-Men it'd probably have to be with it'd have to Kitty Pride, I mean-"
Before Jake could finish his sentence however he felt a chill run down his spine along with his other half telling him to stop while he was ahead and that's exactly what he did leaving the rest of the class kind of disappointed and annoyed at not being able to hear his reasoning.
With the rest of the class continuing their own discussions and talks about the school and the people inside it with very few people having anything bad to say about them but thankfully not because they were a mutant or anything but because they were X-Men and they've seen or heard them do some very questionable things over the years.
The only people who seemed to still be curious as to what Jake was about to say and give his thinly vailed reason where the people he was closest too with every one of them having varyingly different reasons as to why they wanted to know.
Some because they know viewed her as competition, others because they wanted to know why her of all people caught his interest as from what they knew she was the least lacking in... well everything compared to other except for maybe personality.
By the time the bus gets to the newly formed and made Xavier Island academy for the gifted everyone saw that not only were the Mutant kids all around staring at the visiting school but that the Fantastic Four was also there for some reason.
As everyone exits the school bus they are awestruck about everything they see along with seeing the members of the Fantastic Four walking around the school grounds seeming to try and find out if it was a good place to send someone to or just because they were curious.
???: "(Appearing in front of the school looking like a blue demon and smelling of Sulfur) Ello Mine Friends! Velcome to the Academy Ja! I am Un Nightcrawler but mine real name is Kurt so feel free to call me whatever you may like. Und I am ere to velcome thine class here and show you to zee main hall vere ze professor vill be meeting you all shortly."
Kurt starts teleporting further in the academy as all the students slowly follow him, not only because they were waiting for the pungent smell that followed him whenever he teleported but also because everyone was a little nervous whenever they looked around.
Since it's been quite a long time or worse it hadn't been that long since anyone who lived there meet or interacted with a normal human let alone interacted with any of them without getting a lot of hate just for being the way they were.
Something that was very interesting to note however would be that as the class and The Human Torch passed by each other for a very brief second that Jake barely picked up on but Ekaj saw in full was Johnny winking at Penny as she looked playfully annoyed as she rolled her eyes.
Jake: "*Thinking* What the heck was that!? Do they know each other? How do they know each each other? Its not like they wouldn't as she's a reporter but would that mean the Fantastic Four have something to hide since the Daily Bugle is all about the truth no matter how hard it may seem? *Thinking*"
As Jake continues thinking this he doesn't realize that he had somehow missed the rest of the class and made his way towards what looked to be a giant living room with the only person there seeming to be someone of similar age to Jake but with Blond hair and blue eyes.
The strange teen seemed to be wearing what looked to be an X-Men jacket along with some Blue jeans as they seemed to be reading some old X-Men comic books and from the piles of similar looking comics surrounding him it looked like he was gonna be awhile.
???: "I know your lost (turns the page of his comic) but I don't really care since I highly doubt you got lost on purpose (brings his comic down a bit to get a good look at Jake as he starts sniffing like an animal) I bet it had something to do with a girl."
Jake: "(Rubs the back of his neck nervously) Uh... (coughs nervously) I wouldn't exactly say-"
???: "Look I don't care (holds a bottle of soda in both hands as one starts bubbling like its about to burst while the other starts to produce ice fog all on its own) about whatever problems you and whatever girl your thinking of. All I know is that from experience its always better to talk to them before you pass arbitrary judgment as noting hurts more than whatever you think which in turn will cause you to act on those thoughts potentially causing them to become a reality. Heck look at Sc-"
Before he could say whatever he was talking about the strange man stopped once he saw some red alarm start flashing causing him to get supper annoyed as he places his comics down as he chugs both his sodas before running down the school hallways.
Jake: "What the heck was that (looks at the comics and the empty soda bottles) and what the heck is going to happen to the rest of these things?"
Out of nowhere Kurt appears as he starts picking up all the comic books and teleporting them somewhere else before kicking back, launching his shoes off his feet and reading some of the comics that he had left were probably ones he hadn't read yet.
Kurt: "(Looks up from comics as his tail passes him some soda written in German) Oh mine new friend I did not see you zere!"
Jake: "Yea, hi... So... where do I go now?"
Kurt: "(Teleports next to Jake as his comic falls on the sofa) Since ze rest of thine class has already left with zine Professor I shall show you around Ja."
Without waiting for any sign of agreement the next thing Jake knows he was in some metal box as Kurt started jumping around letting Jake know that it was probably time to fight.
And if that wasn't obvious enough as a clue him charging straight at Jake and drop kicking him the face should have done the trick as Jake went flying towards one of the walls as Kurt teleport back flipped back to his sport.
Kurt: "I thought a spy for ze brotherhood would be better than that ja."
Jake: "(Rubs the back of his head as he stands up) What? What the heck is the brotherhood your talking about? The only brotherhood I'm apart of is Ray's Brother dely (pulls out card) every purchase you get a stamp closer to one of their prizes."
Kurt: "(Pulls out older but similar looking card) No vay me too!"
Both men look at each other with a little recognition of respect before putting their cards away as Kurt once more charges at Jake and starts to beat on him like a Mortal Kombat characters stun luck combo as Jack got bounced around all over the place.
Jake: "Dude! What the heck is wrong with you! I'm not part of some brotherhood or whatever I was part of my schools trip here."
Kurt: "(Starts jumping left and right) Ja right and you just so happen to find ze way into the inner part of the academy just as ze warning alarm started flashing."
Jake: "Was that what it was? No wonder that blond kid ran off then."
Just as Kurt teleported right next to Jake to punch him Jake grabbed him and head butted him right in the head with the help of a little White venom causing Kurt to for some reason start acting like he had just been injected with some sort of sleeping drug.
Exiting the area Jake was then meet face to face with some pissed of girls as the man he had run into earlier was running for dear life and for whatever reason thought of grabbing onto him at the very last second possibly thinking he was Kurt.
???: "(Sounds of destruction, lasers, and all sorts of things being heard in the background) Common man do your thing! Get us the heck out of here!"
Jake: "Yea... I'm not that Kurt guy, or anyone who might be able to help transportation wise...."
The weird man stops for a second before rushing back into the room Jake had just left and forcibly closed it as he threw Jake to the side and ran to Kurt as he started slapping him silly trying to wake him up.
???: "Come on man! (Slap) This is not the time to be out cold! (Slap) Wake Up already! (Slap x999)"
However no matter how much pain the man put on Kurt's face he was still out cold leaving the man and Jake now stuck as a horde of angry woman were chasing after him and most if not all of them seemed to be possibly fellow Mutants.
Jake: "(Taps the mans shoulder) Um may I ask why an entire army of women are trying to kill YOU!"
???: "Because Half are my ex's and the other half are girls that I've flirted with... or rather you could possibly consider all of them people I've been with and are probably pissed that I did it with all of them in a solid week."
Jake: "That many! (The man nods his head) HOW!"
???: "(Raises a finger after each point) Time, dedication, skill, persistence, and mutant healing factor."
As the two were talking the doors opened to reveal none of the women except for one with long hair, pissed of expression, and two claws coming from her hands as she tried to inch closer to the man only to be stopped as Xavier and Logan arrived both looking disappointed.
Jake: "For the record I just met this man and am in no way affiliated with anything he has done toady."
???: "Except for knocking poor curt there unconscious."
Jake: "Yes besides that I am innocent."
Xavier just places his fingers on his head as the teen next to his cusses and the next thing Jake knows he's back on his school bus with-
Looking back at the school and how all the mutants seemed happy along with the Fantastic Four members makes Jake wonder if what they had just learned about what really made Mutants and humans different besides of course the X-Gene being a thing.
As everyone looked off in the distance and waved goodbye. Penny, Felica, Gwen, and Mary Jane all wondered why they felt like something was wrong. Since they clearly remember Jake being there with them and being shown around the academy yet they all still felt like something was off.
Meanwhile back inside the academy the strange man named Clark, Justin, Tim, Terry, Richard, and many other things based on the many, many pictures of himself throughout time with different names on all of them started to wake up.
Once he did he realized that Logan and Xavier were standing there in front and next to him as he just sighed and got up as he made the room hotter whilst trying to make it colder as he got up and got changed.
Clark: "So what did I do wrong now!"
