Hearing Huo Mian’s plan, Xu Mingfan’s eyes immediately lit up. “Xiao Mian, you’re really smart.”
He excitedly took the clothes rod and hurried over to the dagger lying on the floor, picking it up.
Using the dagger, Xu Mingfan carved a small hole into the center of one end of the clothes rod, then embedded the dagger’s handle into the hole.
He activated the bit of his ability that had recovered, using it to firmly secure the dagger to the rod.
Still not satisfied, he walked over to the shoe rack and pulled out the shoelaces. He then wrapped them tightly around the joint between the rod and the dagger, layer by layer, making sure the two were firmly fastened together.

The next moment, the male zombie’s body slowly toppled backward and crashed heavily onto the floor with a dull thud.
The female zombie seemed to have been enraged by the death of its companion. It opened its mouth wide and let out a shrill, ear-piercing roar.
Its sharp claws rapidly reached through the gap in the door, trying to tear Xu Mingfan to pieces.
Xu Mingfan reacted quickly and immediately thrust his spear toward the female zombie’s head.
But before he could drive the spearhead in, the female zombie grabbed the shaft and began pulling it outward.

Huo Mian gripped the wooden spear with both hands and fiercely thrust it toward the female zombie’s head.
The female zombie seemed to sense the danger. It tilted its head slightly and dodged Huo Mian’s attack.

The wooden spear successfully pierced the female zombie’s shoulder. Black blood instantly gushed out, dripping onto its white dress and forming irregular dark spots that looked particularly grotesque.
After being struck, the female zombie let out another piercing roar. It then forcefully shoved Xu Mingfan’s spear backward.
Caught completely off guard, Xu Mingfan was sent stumbling backward and fell hard onto the floor, the back of his head hitting the ground with a loud “thump.”

At the same time, the female zombie grabbed Huo Mian’s wooden spear.

The wooden spear was also pulled out through the doorway by the female zombie.
