2 – These legs are too fair!

Ruan Tiantian walked along a main road lined with plane trees.

The September sun blazed like fire, and even the dense canopy of the plane trees offered little shade.Full novel: The Baby is Too Sweet: The Bad-Boy Tycoon Spoils Her Ten Thousand Times — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Sunlight filtered through the gaps in the leaves, falling on Ruan Tiantian’s shoulders.

She carried a stack of new textbooks she had just collected from her academic advisor, heading toward the dormitory building.

Her start of term was slightly later than that of other freshmen, so she had missed the military training.

Having been reborn, she cherished this second chance immensely, determined to rewrite the tragic ending of her previous life.

From the roadside basketball court came deafening cheers from a group of girls.

Ruan Tiantian glanced over and immediately spotted Shen Xiuyu among the boys.

The young man wore a fiery red basketball jersey, with a black headband across his forehead. His narrow, long eyes always carried a hint of playful arrogance when he looked at others.

He casually tossed the ball aside and walked toward the basketball hoop.

Nonchalantly lifting the hem of his jersey, he wiped the sweat from his forehead.

Shen Xiuyu’s skin was pale, but it didn’t make him look effeminate at all. His well-defined muscles were exposed to the sunlight.

She could clearly see the eight distinct abdominal muscles on his torso.

Sweat trickled down his abs and disappeared into the waistband of his shorts.

The bleachers around the basketball court were packed with girls, erupting into waves of excited murmurs with Shen Xiuyu’s every move.

Shen Xiuyu sat beneath the basketball hoop, one leg bent, panting heavily.

Lu Wenjie handed him a bottle of mineral water. “Brother Yu, what do you think? Those sports majors today weren’t bad, right?”

Shen Xiuyu took the water and gave a lazy smile. “They were okay, I guess. Just average, feels like something’s missing.”

He unscrewed the cap, tilted his head back, and took a big gulp.

His Adam’s apple bobbed enticingly, sending the girls in the bleachers into another frenzy.

The sweltering air was thick with the pink bubbles of youthful infatuation.

And the cause of it all, Shen Xiuyu, had merely taken a sip of water.

Lu Wenjie happened to glance toward the main road and spotted Ruan Tiantian carrying her books.

His eyes instantly widened.

“Holy shit! Brother Yu! Brother Yu!”

Shen Xiuyu shot him a glance. “What’s gotten into you?”

Lu Wenjie excitedly patted his shoulder.

“I saw a little fairy! She’s so beautiful! I swear I’ve never seen a girl prettier than her. She’s standing right over there on the main road.”

Shen Xiuyu followed Lu Wenjie’s gaze and saw Ruan Tiantian.

What met his eyes was the face of a stunning manga-style beauty—soft, delicate, fair, and tender. Her large, round eyes seemed to speak, and when she looked at someone, it was like a newborn fawn gazing out.

It was the kind of appearance that instantly stirred a protective instinct in any boy.

Their eyes met for a moment. The young man’s right eyebrow was a broken brow.

His handsome, sword-like eyebrow was split in two at the tail, giving his eyes a naturally fierce and intimidating look.

Though he was undeniably handsome, Ruan Tiantian still felt a bit intimidated by him.

She hadn’t expected Shen Xiuyu to look her way either. Startled, she immediately clutched her books, averted her gaze, and quickened her pace to leave.

Lu Wenjie wondered aloud, “Why did the little fairy leave? Was she looking at me just now? Maybe she got shy when I glanced over.”

Shen Xiuyu raised an eyebrow indifferently. “Interesting.”

Ruan Tiantian was wearing a black pleated skirt today, her legs fair and beautiful, almost translucent under the sunlight.

Lu Wenjie remarked, “Look at the little fairy’s legs—aren’t they gorgeous? They’re so fair, it’s unbelievable, absolutely stunning!”

Shen Xiuyu watched the hem of the girl’s skirt sway with each step she took, her fair legs impossible to ignore.

“Indeed, quite pretty.”

Lu Wenjie keenly caught Shen Xiuyu’s words. “Damn, that’s rare! A girl actually caught your eye, and you even complimented her.”

Shen Xiuyu took another sip of water. “Pretty is pretty, but she’s too well-behaved, not my type.”

“Oh, Brother Yu, I’m still curious—what kind of girl could possibly tame a troublemaker like you?”

Shen Xiuyu stood up, lowered his gaze, and glanced at him with an air of unruliness.

“No woman can ever control me. Is racing not fun enough, or are games not entertaining? Why bother finding a girl to cling to me all day?”

Lu Wenjie stood up, grabbed a basketball, and called out to the court.

“Tan Song, Old Du, let’s go.”

The three boys gathered around Shen Xiuyu and walked off the court, while the adoring fans in the stands gradually dispersed, secretly following behind him.
