4 – The new classmate turns out to be a little fairy.
Shen Xiuyu had just stepped out of the bathroom, wearing a pair of black mid-length shorts and bare-chested.
As soon as he entered the dorm, he saw his three unlucky friends huddled together, excitedly discussing something.
Tan Song exclaimed, “Damn, the new girl in our class is named Ruan Tiantian, right? I bet she’s definitely a beauty!”
Du Xiaofeng, holding his phone, said excitedly, “Quick, check our class group chat. Someone just joined, and judging by the profile picture, it looks like a girl.”
Lu Wenjie leaned over. “Let me see. It’s an anime girl avatar with twin ponytails. She must be a cute, soft-spoken girl.”
Shen Xiuyu casually dried his hair with a towel, then took a hairdryer from the drawer and was about to blow-dry his hair.
Just then, Tan Song stood up and called out to him. “Brother Yu, come take a look! The last girl to report to our class just got added to our class group chat.”
Shen Xiuyu glanced at Tan Song, raised an eyebrow, and tossed out a few words. “Not interested.”
Then, he took the hairdryer and went back to the bathroom to dry his hair.
Lu Wenjie pushed Tan Song back onto the stool. “What’s the point of telling him this? Let me tell you, we saw an incredibly beautiful girl today. Seriously, she looked so sweet and innocent. Do you know what Brother Yu said about her?”
Du Xiaofeng asked curiously, “What did he say?”
“Too sweet, not my type.”
Tan Song wore an expression of understanding. “When has Brother Yu ever been interested in girls? He’s like a butterfly flitting through a garden of flowers without touching a single petal. That’s something I really admire about him.”
After finishing blow-drying his hair, Shen Xiuyu came out of the bathroom and looked at the three of them. “Alright, isn’t there a gathering tonight? We’ll see her soon enough. Whether she’s a fairy or not, we’ll find out in a bit.”
His words only made the three of them even more excited, and they started cheering wildly.
Tan Song said, “I really hope she’s a beauty! There are already so few girls in our major, and out of the four girls in our class, Ruan Tiantian is the only one we haven’t seen yet. I have a strong feeling she’s going to be a fairy sent from heaven.”
Shen Xiuyu pulled out a cigarette, placed it between his lips, leaned against the table, and looked at Tan Song with a sidelong glance. He chuckled and teased, “So pathetic.”
The first gathering for Software Engineering Class 1 was held in a commercial district near the university campus. Since it was a group of young people, drinking and singing were inevitable.
Ruan Tiantian arrived at the KTV with Xu Qi, Fu Li, and Ling Yushi, all three girls taking a taxi together.
Ever since she joined the class group chat, new friend requests had been pouring in nonstop.
She suspected she had almost added everyone in the class, though probably not entirely—Shen Xiuyu hadn’t added her on WeChat.
She secretly breathed a sigh of relief. Well, it made sense—she wasn’t familiar with Shen Xiuyu yet, so it was normal for him not to add her.
In her past life, he had ended up becoming a murderer, so it was better for her to keep her distance from him from now on.
Just as Ruan Tiantian got out of the car, she heard the roar of a supercar.
She looked over and saw a black Koenigsegg slowly driving up, followed by a Lamborghini Veneno.
Pedestrians around couldn’t help but stop and stare, wide-eyed, at the two stunning top-tier supercars.
The moment Ling Yushi saw the supercars, her eyes lit up, and her smile grew sweeter than ever.
Fu Li nudged Ruan Tiantian’s arm.
“See that Koenigsegg? That’s Shen Xiuyu’s car. I heard there are only six in the world—even having money doesn’t guarantee you can buy one.”
“The Lamborghini Veneno next to it belongs to Lu Wenjie. They’re both in the same racing team.”
Just as she finished speaking, Ruan Tiantian saw several guys getting out of their cars.
Shen Xiuyu parked his car in the club’s reserved spot and pushed open the door.
He was wearing a black T-shirt, black pants, and trendy sneakers.
The young man had a great build—broad shoulders, a narrow waist, and long legs.
Standing at 188 cm, he appeared especially tall and upright among the other guys.
Ruan Tiantian lowered her gaze and caught sight of the black tattoo on Shen Xiuyu’s forearm. It wasn’t large, but it was eye-catching, resembling a coiled dragon.
It was hard to tell exactly what creature it was.
Three other guys surrounded Shen Xiuyu as they walked over. He led the way, sporting a very trendy and strikingly attractive slicked-back hairstyle, with the sides shaved quite short.
His facial features were deep and well-defined, with a cool, pale complexion, narrow eyes, and an intense, striking appearance.
His handsomeness was aggressive—when he looked at someone, there was a hint of rebelliousness and a lazy, unapproachable air.
He was the type no girl could ignore, and even guys couldn’t help but be drawn to him.
In short, he was a guy who was both incredibly attractive and effortlessly cool.
Lu Wenjie spotted Ruan Tiantian and immediately waved, calling out, “Little fairy!”
His words caught Shen Xiuyu’s attention, and he glanced over as well.
Ruan Tiantian quickly averted her gaze, tugging at Fu Li’s hand. “Let’s go.”
Just then, Shen Xiuyu spoke up.
She heard a lazy, deep, and magnetic voice.
“Going where?”
