8 – Don’t be afraid, I won’t hurt you
Ruan Tiantian glanced at the boy’s broken eyebrow—when he frowned, it made him look even fiercer.
On top of that, Ruan Tiantian had always thought he was not someone to be trifled with, not the kind of person to mess with, which made her even more afraid.
Her petite body trembled slightly, and then she shook her head.
“N-no… nothing.”
Shen Xiuyu raised an eyebrow. She was even stuttering—and she said it was nothing?
Was he really that terrifying?
Then Lu Wenjie spoke up, “Brother Yu, don’t scare our class fairy.”
Shen Xiuyu curved his lips into a smile, trying his best to appear friendly.
He lifted his tattooed arm and placed it on Ruan Tiantian’s shoulder, comforting her.
His words softened considerably, and his gaze grew unusually serious.
“Don’t be afraid, I won’t hurt you.”
Who would have thought that when Ruan Tiantian caught a glimpse of his tattoo out of the corner of her eye, her body trembled again.
The unknown creature on it looked fierce, its eyes like a venomous snake, sending shivers down Ruan Tiantian’s spine.
Shen Xiuyu lowered his hand.
Looking at Ruan Tiantian’s small face, he felt a wave of frustration.
“Didn’t I say I wouldn’t give you a hard time?”
Ruan Tiantian shook her head, hurriedly explaining, “No, it’s not your fault.”
Shen Xiuyu felt a bit irritable, and with his urgent desire to know the answer, his voice grew louder.
“Then what exactly are you afraid of?”
With that one sentence, Ruan Tiantian was so frightened that her eyes reddened.
Then she stood up, said to Shen Xiuyu, “I’m sorry,”
and opened the door of the private room and left.
Leaving the group behind, staring at each other in confusion, completely baffled.
This was the first time Shen Xiuyu had encountered such a situation, and he was stunned too.
He had actually scared a girl to tears?!
Lu Wenjie was also puzzled. What was going on? Wasn’t Brother Shen always popular with girls?
Girls who saw him were like bees drawn to flowers, unable to resist circling around him.
This was the first time he had seen a girl scared to tears by him!

Shen Xiuyu kept searching for her, moving through the KTV hallways.
Ruan Tiantian had just come out of the restroom at that moment. Without seeing the tattoo on Shen Xiuyu’s arm, her mood had calmed down considerably.
Why did he have to tattoo such a terrifying unknown creature on his arm? She couldn’t understand these boys’ preferences.
She walked aimlessly alone in the hallway.
All around her were various screeching sounds like pigs being slaughtered. She couldn’t help but complain inwardly—they really sang terribly.
The place was huge, with twists and turns everywhere, all with identical layouts. She actually got lost.
She thought she’d just keep walking; maybe she’d run into a waiter soon and could ask for directions.
Suddenly, the door of a private room beside her opened from the inside.
Out walked a middle-aged, greasy-looking man, reeking of alcohol.
Ruan Tiantian smelled the odor and instinctively moved aside a bit.
The middle-aged, greasy man staggered as he walked. His eyes caught sight of the girl’s fair legs, and he immediately sobered up a little. Taking a closer look, she was actually a pretty young girl.
Ruan Tiantian was wearing a white T-shirt and a black pleated skirt.
A pair of beautiful legs, slender and fair, caught the attention of a greasy middle-aged man who couldn’t help but reveal a lecherous smile.
Ruan Tiantian realized that this man, reeking of alcohol, had been eyeing her intently.
She quickened her pace, wanting to leave the area.
But just as she was about to move,
a pair of black slippers appeared in her line of sight, the man’s toenails caked with gray grime.
She was blocked by him.
Ruan Tiantian looked up and saw the man’s shiny, bloated face, so oily it seemed to reflect light, even greasier than the character Zhu Ganglie from the movies.
And he was staring at her with a lustful grin.
Instantly, a chill crept up from her feet. She took a step back, widening the distance between them.
She wrinkled her nose in disgust at the mingled stench of alcohol and sweat emanating from him, feeling almost nauseous.
Her pretty round eyes watched the man warily.
The man gazed at the girl’s tender, delicate face, as beautiful and exquisite as a celestial fairy.
“Little girl, you’re so fresh. Come with me, and I’ll take good care of you.”
Ruan Tiantian kept a wary eye on him as she retreated, her mind racing for a way out.
The man slowly closed in on her.
Her eyes narrowed as she glanced at his crotch. With a surge of resolve, she lifted her leg and kicked hard.
The middle-aged man noticed her move.
He dodged backward, reached out, and grabbed Ruan Tiantian’s fair, slender calf.
The man’s large hand tugged at her leg, and with a slight force, she lost her balance.
She fell heavily to the ground!
Thud—
Tears quickly welled up in her eyes. It hurt so much.
The man eagerly crouched down, reaching to pull at the hem of her skirt.
Ruan Tiantian struggled, trying to pinch his hands as she cried.
