“Darling, choose your favorite position. Be good.”

In winter, the sea wind swept in from below the mountain and through the woods, bringing a bleak, murderous chill.

A black E300 climbed the winding road.Full novel: The Big Boss Is Super Fierce? But He Can’t Bear to Hear Baby Cry Out in Pain — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

In the driver’s seat, Little Uncle suddenly handed Shen Lingxi a tablet.

Hearing the unbearably coy sounds coming from it, Shen Lingxi flipped the tablet over for a look. Sure enough, it was an explicit recording.

It wasn’t as if she had never seen such things before. The countries of origin covered nearly half the globe.

But—“Shen Lanting, have you gone crazy?”

Shen Lingxi bit down on her little white teeth. “I’m your little niece—your cute, adorable little niece!”

Shen Lanting turned the steering wheel with one hand, the veins on the back of it bulging.

“Mm. I never said you weren’t, and I never said you weren’t cute.”

Shen Lingxi puffed up angrily.

“Shen Lanting, just put your heart in your hemorrhoids.”

“Don’t think that just because you’re handsome, you can play around with taboos. Even if you had two handsome faces, I still wouldn’t be interested!”

Shen Lanting cast a sidelong glance at Shen Lingxi through the rearview mirror.

A fair, delicate face puffed up in anger, and a pair of limpid eyes swollen red.

He suppressed every emotion, his Adam’s apple sliding painfully.

“Darling, although I play around, I don’t play with incest.”

“You need to learn this. It’s not going to be used on me.”

Then who was it going to be used on?

Shen Lingxi turned her face toward the window.

In winter, towering trees blocked out the mountain road, making it even more desolate.

The farther up they went, the more affluent the neighborhoods became, with money and power rising at a breakneck pace.

A faintly decadent, perverse extravagance permeated the air.

Shen Lingxi was highly alert. “Little Uncle, are you taking me to tutor someone?”

“Shen Lanting, stop the car, or I’ll get out when we arrive and pry the Mercedes emblem off your car!”

Shen Lanting clenched his teeth and said nothing, only increasing the speed.

In the end, the E300 stopped in front of the gates of Mount Lu Manor, situated at the very top of the mountain.

“Get out, darling.”

Shen Lingxi gripped the seat belt and declared that she absolutely would not get out.

“Shen Lanting, if you dare drag me out, you’re a puppy.”

Fine, a puppy it was.

Shen Lanting simply abandoned the car, got out like a dog, and braced one long arm against the door.

He didn’t dare look at Shen Lingxi’s panicked eyes.

“A-Xi, Fu Jinglan is violent and perverse in private. You’re too spoiled and willful normally. When you’re by his side, yield a little and behave, all right?”

Fu Jinglan…

Country A was composed of the Northern State and the Southern State. Fu Jinglan was the newly appointed governor of the Northern State, a man of immense status and power.

Rumor had it that he was very young, though no one knew what he looked like.

Shen Lingxi understood.

She was about to be subjected to “targeted poverty relief” by Fu Jinglan.

Shen Lanting did not hesitate. He immediately shut the car door and turned away into the cold wind.

Locked inside the car, Shen Lingxi pressed herself against the window and blew snot bubbles.

“Shen Lanting, don’t leave me behind.”

“Shen Two, I’m going to sue you.”

“Shen Dog, I hope you have eighty sons!”

“Some will cry, some will be carried, some will crawl, and the ones in your belly will be sprouting!”

“And none of them will be yours!!!”

Shen Lingxi shouted until she was nearly deprived of oxygen, stars dancing before her eyes.

Shen Lanting did not dare look back.

He clenched his fists. I’m sorry, A-Xi.

Two months ago, the Shen family, which had made its fortune in arms dealing, had been sabotaged.

After the barrage of gunfire, only the uncle and niece had survived.

Countless enemies and capitalist tycoons had heard that Shen Lingxi possessed celestial beauty, a rare beauty seen only once in a thousand years. They all wanted to claim her for themselves.

Shen Lanting could no longer protect her.

Shen Lingxi wiped away her tears and, with trembling hands, picked up the tablet that had slid onto the floor mat. With one slap, she split it apart.

To hell with The Sleeping Husband!

Outside the car window, the winter wind howled.

The grand gates of Mount Lu Manor opened smoothly to either side.

Two uniformed men carrying long guns came over and opened the car door. “Miss Shen, please get out. The governor is waiting for you.”

Shen Lingxi was still angry. She thrust out her chin as she got out. “Then he must be very free.”

Mount Lu Manor was so vast that its boundaries could not be seen.

There were villas, pavilions, trees that remained green even in winter, and flowers in bloom.

There were also men carrying guns and conducting regular patrols.

It took a long time before Shen Lingxi was brought to a luxurious villa at the very center.

Before leaving, the guards forcibly took her phone. “The governor is busy at the moment. Don’t disturb him yet.”

Shen Lingxi puffed her cheeks, looking fierce in a childish way. “Hmph!”

She turned her head away in annoyance, and her eyes happened to fall on the sofa.

A man was seated in the very center.

Sunlight passed through the thin gauze curtains and fell faintly across the crown of his head and his shoulders.

Shen Lingxi could not make out the backlit face, but she could feel the man’s aura, sharp and cold as winter.

The man’s long legs were crossed. A laptop stood before him, and he held one arm raised while speaking on the phone.

He did not even glance at Shen Lingxi.

It was as if she had never arrived.

So what? Shen Lingxi was not foolish enough to stand there waiting.

She found a cushioned chair and sat down by herself.

Her slender, pale neck remained stubbornly stiff, and she refused to look at Fu Jinglan again.

About half an hour later, Fu Jinglan finally put down his phone and closed the laptop.

He tossed her a cold remark. “Take it off and come over for an examination.”

Fu Jinglan’s voice was cold enough to stir every pore on Shen Lingxi’s body, like a draft of wind slipping through her.

She jumped down from the cushioned chair and stopped more than a meter away from Fu Jinglan.

Without looking him directly in the eye, she spoke each word crisply and fluently.

“No need to check the label. Sixty-five D, fifty-eight, ninety. A virgin.”

At this, Fu Jinglan’s broad shoulders did not move. Only his gaze lifted slightly.

“I told you to take off your coat. Is that really so difficult to understand?”

Fu Jinglan was so fierce.

He was neither gentle nor mild. Even when he spoke, there was a deadly aggressiveness to him.

Shen Lingxi unwillingly took off her coat.

Then, as if in deliberate provocation, she tossed it beside the man.

Fu Jinglan paid no attention to it. His gaze came to rest on the young girl.

This was Shen Lanting’s little niece—the girl for whom he had knelt outside the manor for an entire day and night, nearly crippling his legs, just to personally deliver her to the estate.

Not bad.

She was practically identical to her photographs.

Soft and fair, lively and charming, with a full chest and slender waist, she possessed an exceptionally spirited beauty.

It was just that her temperament was a little mischievous.

And those bright eyes of hers were wet and reddened.

When Fu Jinglan spoke again, his voice remained low and emotionless, cold and dangerous.

“Cry less from now on. Tears aren’t much different from a stimulant.”

Shen Lingxi vaguely detected a hint of a certain proclivity.

But she refused to admit that she had cried. “There aren’t any tears. It was the wind.”

“Shen Lingxi, is it? Come closer.”

Fu Jinglan immediately reached out. Without the slightest gentleness, he seized the girl’s arm and pulled her off balance.

Shen Lingxi’s leg struck the man’s knee. It was hard and painful.

Before she could steady herself, Fu Jinglan had already begun searching her.

His long, bony fingers were warm as they moved from top to bottom, brushing over the neckline of her moon-colored velvet dress, the buttons at her chest, her slender waist, her long legs…

So he was checking whether she had any weapons on her. He just wasn’t being very gentle about it.

When Fu Jinglan’s hand grew slightly heavier, Shen Lingxi stiffened and let out a soft whimper.

“Mm~” The sound was so sweet it could melt one’s bones.

Fu Jinglan’s broad palm paused against the side of her leg. He raised his face and asked:

“What was that sound?”

Shen Lingxi did not want to look directly at Fu Jinglan’s face.

What if he turned out to be hideous? She might not be able to resist blasting him right in the face.

“It hurts. Could you please use a little less force?”

Fu Jinglan lifted his eyes and glanced at Shen Lingxi.

Tsk. She really was delicate.

He had hardly used any force at all.

Fu Jinglan withdrew his hand. “Take off your shoes.”

What a troublesome man.

Shen Lingxi bent down and removed her short sheepskin boots, leaving only a pair of snow-white socks.

Fu Jinglan did not look at her again. He leaned back against the sofa, without the slightest hint of pity or restraint.

“Unfasten it.”

Even though the sunlight had passed through a layer of gauze curtains before entering, Shen Lingxi still could not open her eyes.

No, wait. Had humanity already entered the era of sexual boldness?

Was Fu Jinglan in such a hurry because he was afraid the drug’s effects would wear off?

But the force of his high-ranking authority was too overwhelming, and even his words left no room for resistance.

“Whether you want to or not isn’t important.”

Shen Lingxi spotted a dark, heavy gun on the coffee table.

She had no choice but to sit down beside Fu Jinglan, very unwillingly, and began undoing the pearl-shaped round buttons of her dress.

One button, two buttons…

The gleaming whiteness of her slender neck was revealed.

It was as though moonlight had been spilled over it, giving it a clear, cool beauty.

Yet from above her head came Fu Jinglan’s low chuckle. “Silly girl.”

“I didn’t mean your dress. I meant mine.”
